Best way to meet other Swingers is to go to lifestyle venues or through sites like this. As HollyBlue related an unwanted experience, there are vanilla people who know may know what the symbols may be.
Buy matching shirts that say, "Hi, I'm a swinger."
I have for fun turned a pineapple upside down in my cart many times and have had someone notice twice. I stopped after one of them was a creepy old guy that followed me around and smelled like bengay and a wet shihtzu. Apparently, he thought we could post up a hamster movie and become famous.
No, no, and yes.
Have read the post along with reading many other posts and been around a awhile and still wonder if it would work or not and if pineapple work? Wondering if corona or covid has stopped play times with others.
So.. from this husband: yes I have one, yes I've been wearing it for a couple of years, no one has noticed it.
Wantalern- As Confucius say,, if you read the thread you’d know the answer to your question.

"We just bought a gold choker with the international symbol that you are in the lifestyle".
I had to Google it to see what it was and found there's at least 2 symbols, so not sure how much others would recognize it.
Does this work or not?
Wonder if this a a real thing?
We wear black rings, but have not been approached yet. We just bought a gold choker with the international symbol that you are in the lifestyle to wear on my neck. We will see if that attracts any attention!
With the internet and Facebook, it would be hard too hard maintain secrecy if a symbol of swinging got too well known..
It would be nice if there were some sort of universal signal that could subtlety indicate that we were open to play.. rings are nice because they can be easily removed if discretion were suddenly required. Also if questioned by the wrong person you could play the "I didn't know" card.
Some do. I've been wearing one for quite a while and get a lot of interesting questions. It's a fun conversation!
BTW - Had a similar thing happen with a 18" necklace. The thing was like a choker on me. I have to buy an 18" neck shirt to have any hope of buttoning the top button, and even that is tight after a couple washings. I do not consider myself to be that big of a guy, but apparently I am. It's not unusual for people to be as much as 40 lbs off when they guess my weight because everything is pretty much proportional.
I had no idea my wrists were that big until my wife bought me a Men's bracelet. Apparently these are typically 8" and it wasn't even close to being able to close, so we measured my wrist with a seamstress tape.
How do you even know the size of your wrist???
Hey, maybe that is the sign? LMAO
I have 9.5" wrists, so it would probably turn my whole hand black if I left that on....lol
Just wear a black rubber cockring on your right wrist,...
We live in Wisconsin when we started swinging. We now live in Florida. Wear our black rings on our right ring finger. We have not been approached as such yet but every little bit helps. We enjoy wearing them nonetheless. Going to church on Sunday we hope to get the attention of other swingers, or the minister and his hot wife....lol I would say go ahead and wear them. We constantly look at other peoples right hand and if we see a ring on them we will say " oh what a nice ring." They might say oh yes. " mothers ring," or whatever they say. If they are a swinger they might just say so as we are proud of wha we do and constantly looking to make friends both in and out of the lifestyle. One other thing I do is I had some SLS business cards made professionally. I will leave one in the restaurant with the waitress, put one on a bulletin board in a store, meet someone at a party, you name it. Might be taking a chance but hay I might make a contact. Keep trying and do not be afraid to take a chance. If we are invited to a party we attend if we can. Wear the ring they are inexpensive and you never know.
We just bought matching black rings. Her idea actually. I wear mine on my right hand. Haven't had any comments made yet.
The short skirts and tight blouses don't really work with other couples at least based on our own experiences. As you mentioned it does attract its share of single men but it makes for some awkward experiences when they find out we are together as a couple
I guess my sheer blouses, short skirts, heels and nylons may be a hint, LOL. Men seem to notice more than women however....Mary Jo
bought a black stainless steel ring to wear on right hand. I think it is a really good replacement for a secret handshake, snort and doing a backflip when you suspect someone is a member of the lifestyle. seriously, I have not seen anyone with a black ring on the right hand here in Florida but one can only hope.
Rings have small superman logo or batman logo but they are not noticeable. One thing, to remember is only the person wearing the ring is indicating his or her activity.
We wear ours all the time. If family asks we tell them they are to represent our past marriages. lol We wear them to church and hope that someone will take notice and talk to us about the lifestyle. I would wear them as they do not cost much and are easy to wear. Good luck meeting people.
