Same here.. seems someone from CS finally removed them from our wall after numerous complaints for same on SLS!

So now I have a "friend request" from someone 1000 miles away that we don't think we've never met, but they have Couples blocked!

sls_WayneC... One of the problems that I see that SLS brings upon themselves is that the updates are blindsiding members. There is no notice of upcoming updates. Nothing that says an update is coming and here is what to expect. If something like that was to take place at least members could be ready for a change and know what to expect. And, you may get input as to whether members will like that type of update or not. My feeling is that as paying members of this site we should at least be made aware of changes coming our way. And, as paying members, we expect you to listen to our input. I think we all understand that our paid/paying memberships pay for these updates. It's our money that allows this to happen. We should have some input.

Wow. Just wow. Seriously your version of upgrading the site is to copy Facebook. Do any of you geniuses understand what a trademark is. When they legally file for trademark infringement the site will shut down. So enjoy it while it lasts. They won the trademark in 2010. I tried to link to it but the censor on here won't allow an outside link. You can't use walls, feeds, ECT without paying them a royalty. Dot your "I"s and cross the t's on this one please this was not a smart move. You can't call it a wall or a fees, without implications. Try dashboard. Or better idea stop trying to copy others. Read the trademark, call the lawyer, rewrite the code, rename the "feed".

I am going to assume that due to the arcane nature of the SLS programming, we needed a new feature called "Friends" to replace the old feature called, wait for it, "Friends." It's also interesting that they were able to move all my "Old Friends" to something called "Favorites." My question is if they were able to move my "Old Friends" to something called "Favorites," why couldn't they move them to something called "Friends?" Why are we forced to re-friend all of our existing friends? If they were on my Friends List in the past, why would SLS automatically Un-Friend them for me? This is adding a lot of extra work for everyone (especially those with large, old Friends lists.) Why did SLS decide to do this the hard way instead of the easy way?

I'll wager a few million pesos they will add a "vote best pics" by the end of the year.

I would love that feature. It would be great if people could vote on my pictures, especially if I could see who liked them and the likes were publically available.

This could also work as a metric to see how old a picture is, if the date of the like was stamped on the like. This would go a long way to weeding out couples who had the same profile picture for 15 years.

We hadn't noticed the new "favorites" option. That is just what the "friends" used to be. So, useless changes once again (like messages instead of mail, even though the clubs/events still seem to be able to send "mail" and the rest of us get our "messages" broken into multiple packets.

MAcouple, what Wayne should have told you is that there's a new section called Favorites, that works exactly the way Friends used to work. So, you can continue doing things the way that best suits you.

only answers those subscribers when snide and snarky comments can be made...ignores great suggestions from others very well too.

We not only used the "friends" to keep in touch with people we have met but we also used it to keep profiles that we were definitely interested in meeting.
The new "friend request" was a surprise to us. I guess we won't be using that feature as much anymore.

The site seems to "fix" things that really don't need fixing.

Sweet ... got our 1st friend request from somebody we dont know ... the free member blue gumby has a whole 19 words in his profile ... delete!

We had one last week from some older guy that we have never communicated with previously. Easy enough to delete.

We just got our first Friend request!

notice how all of these featured descriptions end with “and more!“ But “and more“ is never explained, listed, spelled out, etc.

It’s just one of those phrases that is used with no meaning.

<p>As far as future Friends feature, here is the description from the mobile app update:</p>

Unfortunately, still no answers on other questions as well.
