Blocked vs Not found?

I think we were blocked. I know we would not get a message that someone blocked us but there would be a message that we were blocked if we had tried to search for them. I guess this site has changed that.

We tend to get "friend" requests from people we've never even exchanged any messages. Between that and the request to open our pics that seems to be some option on the phone app, tend to get rejected quickly.
