What it seems Wayne means when he writes he doesn't understand all the complaints is that he isn't going to DO anything about all the complaints. I don't know how to contact customer service but judging by the posts here it is futile to do so in the first place.
Hey Wayne, if you read this know that it DOESN'T work the same. Not even close. I would love to know how much positive feedback you have received by the change to hot dates.
I am going to take a guess that this was done to implement hot dates on the app. I just checked and now the app has hot dates. This makes sense because the way it appears on the website is the same way it appears on the app. So it seems that they are only writing code for the app and applying it to both the website and the app. Which leads me to believe that the website will eventually be phased out in favor of the app. When that happens we will be gone, lifetime member or not, because we will not put this app on our phone where someone may see it. Again, I expect this post to be deleted because they can't handle the truth. -Beast

I had a post deleted also( How childish ). Apparently, you can not voice an opinion about this site unless it is all roses. All I did was point out that the update makes it harder for people to connect. I gave an example that if someone is looking for a SF it now eliminates everyone but SF from seeing their post, including couples that can play separately. I am sure this post will get deleted too. - Beast

Trainer, if you click on "MONTH", it will expand to show the rest of the month, same goes for those claiming their hot date is gone.

Navigation is NOT cleaner. That's utterly ridiculous. You literally can't find anything any more. You can't get a preview of a poster's profile so now you have to click on every profile to see if there is any chance you'd want to look further. That's objectively worse. And who asked for event listings to he separated out this way? Who from the membership would have ever asked for that? Why wouldn't you just leave something that wasn't broken alone?
I get that SLS is more popular in some regions of the country right now but I'd be surprised if that remains the case when you literally rip out the parts of the site that worked and replace them with unusable garbage.
While I like the cleaner look, seems like SLS has made some poor decisions again:
1) Why can't we see hot dates of the couple have a different age bracket? Shouldn't that option (rejecting us) be left to the couple themselves instead of SLS policing and blocking views?
2) We WANT sexually suggestive photos so why is SLS now masking them on the hot date calendar?
3) Only a week? Why can't we plan a bit more in advance? What is the penalty of two weeks?
None of the three (mis)improvements above are a liability to SLS so why reduce features if it costs nothing to keep them? Not getting it. It's just like the email system debaucle: Another "improvement" done in a vacuum!

888, from what I’m seeing, I can only see through 10/24. However before this change, the calendar was practically full for my nearby area.
Not being able to see any of those hotdates coincides with customers saying that their hotdates were deleted or that they are missing. November’s calendar has nothing now, before this update, members had dates marked

Horrible. Not one person/couple say that the Hot Dates are better now. It's Universally panned. Why are you guys destroying your own site. It's unbelievable. And, just like the mail issue, totally doubt you will listen to your subscribers. Unreal
HotDates will be reviewed by the staff. Just like photos and profiles are being done now. (a major inconvenience) That explains why you can’t see more than a week ahead or even plan a week ahead.
In the top right corner, click on the appropriate tab, ie today, week or month to see ahead. There is also a set of arrows to move through the months.
Navigation is cleaner and types, ie hot date, social, club etc are located and designated by type.

Just posted a ticket. We can flood them with feedback and hope for improvements. If they don’t care to make the website user-friendly we can leave...There are other sites...I’d rather stay here but we could start to shift over to greener pastures. JS...

It appears to me that the change to the HotDate calendar was a solution for the staff, in regards to policing hotdates that were being put up.

Ever since FOSTA, SLS has been changing left and right. It appears that some members were promoting private parties on the calendar, with pricing info, and adding K^kinfo to the open invitation among other things,
The way SLS is going about covering it’s ass, is becoming an issue.
The email system eliminated the need for K^k
Poor interface encouraged the exchange of pics off site
Poor development and poor customer service is now encouraging a mass exodus of members.

My Hotdates for the week are gone. They were on there as of last night.
Why is SLS forcing itself to go down hill?
Remember all those posts asking for them to return to the old messaging/mail system? I suspect requests to go back to the old calendar view will be met with the same "we don't care what you want" non response.
Funny.........the new Hot Date/Event page says the SLS is the #1 Swinger site. Well, not for long with these changes that make the site harder to use.
