And yet once again management is doing everything in there power to piss off members. I agree with what everyone is saying. Hope the paying advertisers, the ones who still have access to email while the rest don’t and the various cruise providers take note and apply what pressure they can. I know 30 — THIRTY — paying couples who are not renewing because of the changes made and apparent lack of caring by management. Interesting, every day I also peruse the “new” members, almost all are free who never convert to paying.

SLS needs to get pressure from their advertisers. We're going to make a concerted effort to let the companies that advertise on SLS know how we feel about the recent changes, most importantly, that the pageviews they're paying for will be impacted and not for the better. For cripe's sake, two upcoming sponsored events we WANTED to sign up for can't be found in the Hot Date section anymore. These events are organized by groups that PAY for ads. Money talks...

We're bewildered by the current state of SLS and are drawing blanks as to what the business cases could possibly be for crippling email and Hot Dates. Lots of members feel that it's to disadvantage lifetime members, but we can't imagine a month-to-month user finding much value from the current online and app version of SLS.

There ARE options out there. We've already signed up on them. That means we'll be on SLS less and less and we don't think we'll be the only ones. SLS needs to rethink their long term strategy.

Here is probably the next hotdate update and filter::

You may not be able to see this hotdate as SLS has filtered it from you as they have deemed you are neither fun nor attractive.

Just echoing what everyone else is saying in case SLS looks at this thread.

With these new changes, there is no easy way to quickly log on and see what is going on over a particular weekend in our area.

What did they do to the hot date section ? This web site is honestly the worst at communicating potential changes or upgrades. I certainly hope this is a bug ant not a permanent change because its absolutely horrible !! Way to go guys !!

WTF is wrong with this site. Keep the events on the same calander as th he hot dates#!! Please tell ShareNation that we can't find the hotel party that they are hosting.

It sucks as a life time member here, the site that rhythms with LIVER, is starting to sound like a better idea.

How about simply having a button to access the old hot dates format for those that do not want to use the "new and improved" format that way everybody is happy. BTW I think the new format is worthless and unusable. While I am ranting I would like the old mail system brought back also.

I know you don’t use this site as members do, you’ve demonstrated an inability to think like members think, and you refuse to engage with members to find out what they want. So here is why this change is creating so much negativity:

Swingers use SLS as a vehicle to find and meet other swingers. Simply put, this change makes that much more difficult. Having all the events and dates in one place made it easy to see what was happening, where it was happening, and who was going. If we wanted to see what Halloween events were being held so we could decide where to go, that was all laid out in an easy to see format. Now it’s become cumbersome to extract that information.

Most of us have limited time available and have to plan and schedule in advance. This change makes that so much more difficult. It’s not about what clubs are near me. It’s about what is going on during a particular day where we can go.

If you make this site harder to use, people will stop using it. Is that the goal? If you don’t understand why members react a certain way to a change, perhaps that’s a sign that your assumptions of how we use SLS is not quite right.

See this is the problem, because so many of us have paid for life time memberships they no longer care what we think because they have our money and will not be getting anything more from us, so they do not feel the pressure to do what the patrons want. This is clearly not a good change, it is not people just resisting change, it simply makes things MORE difficult for people to see what is going on. No one in their right mind would think this is an improvement and this change should be reversed as soon as possible in our opinion.

There has Never been a post that said we need to fix the Hot Dates.
I really don't see any evidence that the staff here have used this website. Because they suck at design. It is old school product.

They really don’t get it. This update makes it way harder to meet people. It’s a shame that the last 2 years have all been backwards. The ONLY new thing that is good is who is viewing me. Everything else has been a step back. Sad.

Holy crap. Is it that SLS admin doesn't read the feedback and input from members or just doesn't care? Why do you guys give the impression that you would rather everyone up and go elsewhere? What other reason can there be for constantly screwing the pooch on these "upgrades"? What's the point in alienating your entire base??

@nohoopshere. I received a very similar email. More confrontational than anything. Like why are we so stupid that we don’t like it?
