Where is the forum on the new site? I don’t see it anywhere.
Why can't this site just grand father us from SLS to the new site . thanks
We are on many sites all around the world, and here are the things that ALL OF THEM DO and SLS does not.
- email notifications. Every site in the world gives you options of being notified by email when you get a message, a like, a friend request, etc. SLS makes timely communication impossible.
- immediate profile edits. All of them have the same TOS - no phone numbers, kik names, telegram handles. Yet all of them allow you to see your edits immediately, not wait 24-48 hours to find out you mistyped a word and now have to wait another day to correct it. Does SLS really need a very over-worked human to check every profile?
- likes/pokes/nudges. Sometimes you just want to say "hi" without saying "hi'.
- more options than Straight/Bi-c/Bi. A very high percentage, if not a majority, of men are flexible about same-sex contact. They are not bi, not bi-curious, but tolerate or welcome incidental or intentional touch. Currently they need to communicate that as "open-minded" or "not homophobic".
- and, obviously, age. That makes no sense. Every site we've ever been on asks you to input your year of birth. If someone wants to lie, that's on them, but SLS is the only one that makes it inaccurate by default.
We would "like" this post if we could! :)

So far it seems to be working well.
Just noticed the beta site is not showing the pic upload date? That was a big newer improvement we rely on a lot.
A time stamp is a yes vote from me
+1 to time stamped “who viewed me”
When someone views you, please place a time stamp on that in the Who Viewed Me. It helps. Please and thank you.
Excellent job in the transparency of new site development, Wayne and Co. Thank you.
Notes will be added to that view.
Hell Ya!
The long card/tall card is a great option. And the fact that the notes can be seen from there is fantastic.

Yes, that is it. I just wasn't sure what they were going to call it at the time. Notes will be added to that view.

Wayne - Assume you mean the Long card/tall card option. If so, I do like it. Gives me everything from the flyover that I liked.

We will be adding a feature that gives the information that the Flyover has. Should be done today for everyone to review. It will not require a long-press or mouse-over and will not count as a profile view.

A note of positivity:
At Wayne's suggestion, I e-mailed the owners about my thoughts/impressions/suggestions about the new site. And I received a very nice reply acknowledging what I was saying and what they working on. I really appreciated the reply, and it was good to hear from someone associated with the site besides Wayne - who does all he can to be the face/voice of SLS. Very encouraging.
Messages still are not working. I cleared browsing history, changed passwords and tried two browsers and get the same message I pasted earlier. I give up.
I changed my password and tried the site on Safari and Chrome. I get the same message on both when I click messages.
I’m on chrome.
Yes I’m on beta.swing.

You are on beta.swing.com? I am not seeing that when I test your profile. What browser are you using? You can try logging in with private browsing to see if that makes a difference.

Wayne, here the message I get when I click messages: There was a problem
Please try againg or contact support if the problem persists
Try again
It’s been like this all morning, on this account and my wife’s account. Only on the beta site.
"I realize the new site is in beta mode but already messages are not working."
You aren't on any beta blockers are you?
