I realize the new site is in beta mode but already messages are not working. Hopefully this gets fixed.

Pretty sure 1999 was the last time I had a computer with a mouse. Currently, flyover works fine on my touchscreen laptop and on my phone, but I haven't checked out the beta site.

How do you mean slow? Just timed it and it's less than 2 seconds from touching the phone and the flyover popping up. Very reasonable IMO

I use the long press flyover feature often when using touchscreen.

Got error messages yesterday but it's working today. Microsoft Edge on a laptop.

Why not add the link to the left side of the screen, below the Twitter button?

Like others have said - bring back the fly over. No reason to have to look at each profile to see what age range they are looking for, how old they are, etc.

It could just be that the many members requesting the Flyover use actual computers with an actual mouse or touchpad.

And you only think most members use touchscreens because they complain about features not working. ;-)

I used to move my mouse down the list and see stats almost as fast as I could move the mouse. Having to long press is no faster than just viewing the profile. And if you do not wnat people to know that you viewed their profile, just turn of your Who Viewed Me.</span></p>

Flyover works great on my phone. It's just a long press and voila!

If you add back the flyover with current info it contains, it doesn't need to be on the thumbnail. Would love to see the open space on the current flyover be used with our notes for the profile. that would be a great enhancement in our books. It is where we store and specify our interests far beyond the star system. Not to knock those that use it but we tried to use and found our way to motes being a better one stop shop. It is more than just a designation, it is the why for the designation also. I recognize this is enhancement but thought I'd bring it up

Took another quick look when I saw the previous post about Notes on Profiles.

I have a lousy memory so use the Favorites designation, the Star rankings and Notes extensively. I don't see the Stars or Notes on a few profiles that I checked.

Hopefully the flyover capability is not being abandoned - and including Notes, or even Stars, on flyover would be fabulous!

On a laptop PC can't access the new Beta site via Microsoft's Edge. However, I was able to log in via Brave browser. Like the overall look and feel and obviously still in development. Also, like all the color theme customization options for the overall look and feel as well. I did notice as well, that when using the search feature, I get a lot more profiles on the original site vs. the new site even though all the parameters entered for the search are the same so seems something is amiss with the search feature.

Logged in and actually sent a message that shows up in the normal site too! A big concern so far is where are profile notes? That is a feature that is used extensively by us. As mentioned already the sort of who viewed me is waaay off from current which we like. Tons of SMs that do not show up on the legacy who viewed me. I know the legacy who viewed me "froze" the date for a week or two and that is helpful in more cases than not, so would want to see that. Also Whos on is returning different results between legacy and beta. I verified beta search against legacy settings and it is completely different results. Also beta while adding serch criteria for whos on, doesn't have Have pictures as an option. Since most have no interests in no pic profiles, that should be there in OHO

I've only taken a quick look but here are things that I've noticed -

Not sure if I did anything to affect what shows in Who Viewed Me, Who's On and Newest Matches - but there are differences between the current and beta sites. My preference would be chronological for WVM and Newest Matches and by distance for Who's On.

Lack of Forums in beta - WTF???

Long messages are broken up into pieces. I haven't tried sending a message from the beta site - but composition and display limits should match. Chatty people (like me) will adjust to message length limits but messages broken in the middle of words are beyond annoying.

Lifetime member and cannot log in either.

<p>Are you using private browsing mode in Firefox? We know of an issue with that mode that we will get corrected. If that is what you are using, in the meantime you can use non-private mode or use private browsing in Chrome.</p>
