Not a first meet for most of the people but we attended a camping trip with several other LS couples at a MN state park. I think there were like 12 couples. We reserved a group campsite and we had several tents there but one couple brought a motorhome which was not allowed at the group site. They had an individual site a bit away from the group site.
The group site was a distance from the individual sites so we had no issues with the vanilla campers.
The downfall was no alcohol was supposed to be at the group site. We had a "punch party" where everybody brought a bottle of something and it all went into the HUGE punch bowl along with fruit, ice and assorted other mixers. Who knew that gin and bourbon worked well when mixed? A park ranger wandered through one afternoon while making the rounds of the campsites. I'm pretty sure he knew what was in the bowl and red solo cups but he never said a word.
Most people had smaller 2-4 person tents that were at most 5' tall- most I'd guess were 4' tall or less.. I brought my 12'x12'x7' tall tent that I use when I and 3 other buddies went on fishing trips. Supposedly a 6-8 person tent, but about right for 4 guys who weren't interested in being in bed with other guys. Had some space between everybody.
And, as it turns out, the real party was in our tent.
Mrs. G won the award for being the last one dressed and out of bed one morning. A custom printed T-shirt. I forget what it said, but it was something humorous about last one out of bed with a sexual overtone.
Except for rain one evening, that was a REALLY fun weekend. ;-)
Many state camps allow two tents and cars per site.
Camping sounds like a good idea.....it would be nice if the sites were near each other

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't do it with someone I didn't know really well. Like I said, it would have to be a good friend... but with benefits.
We are thinking about doing a CO trip down the east coast, starting after Labor Day, and then back to Mass for Nov 1st. The plan is for 2024.
RV or car camping at an established campground could be fun, although probably best with known playmates who you've played with before.
On the other hand, a backpacking trip is definitely NOT for first time players. I'm reminded of the old darkly comic joke "You think these woods are scary? You're not the one who has to walk back to the car alone in the dark!"
I'd love to take a two- or three-day hiking trip, maybe in the mountains of Northeast Georgia, with a "good friend."
4_real , You are so correct about the CO RV parks being a whole lot of fun. We are heading out in a couple week in Colorado for some fall colors and Hot Springs..
LS camping is even better at a CO campground. The Mrs already knows if she is interested. We have hosted a few parties in our camper. Even had the office stop by and remind us that, " The single guy that is visiting you needs to leave in 10 minutes. Day guests must be out at 530 pm.
The best thing about sex and camping is "It's fucking intense" or tents. Depending on how you say it.
I think it's a great idea.....Obviously discretion is a top priority because of the " \neighbors" should the desire to play cums up....A camping trip with lifestyle friends does sound fantastic

We camp (or Glamp) at our nudist resort and have had 3 couples in our RV, we would not call sex in a tent as we have a 40’ fifth wheel, plenty of room as it has a king size bed and living room with full sized couches, it’s like a rolling hotel room so it’s far from tent camping.
When we still owned our camper, we would frequently camp at a beautiful TVA campground on a lake. We did invite a local play friend up a couple of times for sitting around the campfire and then inside for double teaming my wife. A little tight in the camper and I don't just mean my wife's pussy.
Camping with other swingers is really fucking in tents.
We agree that camping is a great way to meet a new lifestyle people. You will already have common interests with fellow campers, which makes it easier to get to know them. There are always plenty of activities easily available to do together, like cookouts, campfires and walks. Plus when the time is right, a bed is only a few feet away.
Yes it's great. One party joins the other at a fire, have a beer, talk and laugh about literally anything. If you decide to take it inside, you're already there.

I think maybe two sites for a first meeting, just in case anyone decides it is a no go.
Also campgrounds generally are pretty quiet so sound travels. If things progress that may be a bit of a damper on things.
