Wedding Ring Poll

I have a disease called Dupuytren's contracture that bends one's fingers towards the palm. I have had two surgeries, but it keeps coming back. My luck it is on my ring finger of my left hand.

About ten years ago I got a Celtic cross tattooed on the finger as a wedding ring. My wife is like you, a construction worker and can't wear a ring. we got a simple silver ring for her when we got married in Las Vegas, and I wear that on my right ring finger.

When my son got married they exchanged silicone rings. He gave me the extra one, and I wear that over the tattoo.

@Werabicouple2 - Maybe look into silicone rings. You don't have to worry about crushing them and would probably have to change your weight significantly before fit would become an issue. They are also very inexpensive.

My wife's rings got to small and had to be cut off, so she buys cheap fake sets of wedding rings that she wears. I don't wear jewelry, but when I first married this wife a wore a ring for about 3 weeks till it got crushed and it had to be cut off, so do not wear a ring period anymore

I totally get this - I feel more naked without my wedding/engagement rings than without clothes (and I'm not a nudist by any stretch of the imagination).

Personally I've never understood the point of this thread - we're swingers, not cheaters. Why would we not wear our wedding rings in the normal fashion?

So I know the original post is quite old, but I found it interesting as I remember a time when my wife and I were traveling to a LS club and she forgot her rings. She had taken them off when she hoped into the shower, and forgot to put them back before heading out for the evening.

By the time she noticed, we were more than half-way there, and I was like, "we'll be late, don't worry about it". It's rare that she forgets, and I was being complacent with the importance of her desire to having them on this night. That apparently did not resonate with her very well. She let me know how important she felt her rings (our rings) meant to her. I'll never make that mistake, again, assuming that it's okay. So now, I always ask her if she has her rings on; and it brings a smile to her face.

The rings are a symbol of the bond that we have, and it's a reminder of the inner circle of trust that we embrace.

Definitely wedding rings on! This is part of our marriage and besides, it's sexy to see her with jewelry on. Rings, pearls.....

Just recently one of the Mrs. FWB's said to her, "There's something about fucking a woman with a wedding ring. It's a THING!"

We really prefer our couples play partners be married, like us. There's just something really hot knowing you're sharing those you love for the pleasure of others who are married without jealousy. For that reason, the rings stying on is important as a symbol of that.

I would concur with MT25. We leave ours on. We are all consenting adults however there is something hot about having sex with the rings on & intertwining your hands during love making.

Mr replying here so cannot answer directly (my wife usually wears her wedding ring on left ring finger during meet ups but also will wear a black silicone or silver ring depending on her outfit) but I wanted to chime in. I had a Celtic cross tattooed on about 7 years ago. When my son got married, he had bought a couple of those silicon rings, so I wear one of those now.

It never comes off.

T doesn't wear a ring because of work.

I always wear mine, same with my wife. Unless you're cheating, there's no reason to hide the fact you're married.

i just started wearing my wedding ring again but only once in a while, anthony doesn't wear his. Mine needed resizing, he doesn't wear any jewelry. I do find that guys tend to hit on me more w/out the ring thinking i'm single/divorced. I will sometime flirt with them if they are attractive, especially if i'm out at a club/bar. When i wear my ring, they seem more cautious but if i flirt, it's like giving them a "green light."

Mrs VA sometimes leaves her engagement ring at home, because the stone and mount can sometimes get caught on clothing or scratch people. But the wedding band always stays on.

I am a massage therapist and cannot wear a ring while working. Since its too much of a pain to take it on and off i dont wear once. Its not related to the lifestyle

We haven't worn our rings in over a decade. Mine doesn't fit and needs a stone replaced and he can't wear his because of work. We know several other people who don't wear them for different reasons.
