Maybe a free member was paid member and their membership recently expired. Maybe they only pay when they're looking. Maybe they don't have much luck connecting with people online but use the site to find parties. Maybe they're on other sites that tend to be very active in their area.

I'm sure that this subject had to have been brought up before but as I stated; it is still a problem I feel to those who are PAID members and I cannot for the life of me understand why SLS doesn't see this as an injustice to those PAID members and make movements in their behalf to correct this as we are the ones that allow them (SLS) to provide this site?
Perhaps I could have done research and found prior statements on this subject (aka Rabbit/Dooddette with 3248 post) and read their comments but the truth is, I like the majority don't have that much time. I believe Dooddette has her rights under the 1st and 4th amendments to express her thoughts however immature and I support her those rights regardless of how they sound but I refuse to belittle someone in order to make myself seem more important. However, I do take some comments as a form of mental bullying and I refuse to accept that as good social behavior from anyone! If you have any further comments that you could bring to the table in constructive conversation as you have done, I would be pleased to hear it as I'm sure others would. SLS does need to eliminate this hole in the road ie, free members, that they've created which I do believe festers on the brink of violating our 1st amendment of free speech. rabbit, now aka Dooddette, I and everyone else can see that your reply to me is evident that you don't listen/read to understand. You listen/read to reply. What is it now: 2348 post?? I did not ask for the thoughts or replies from 'Free Members'. I asked PAID members to offer up what changes they thought SLS could incorporate to do away with the free membership disasters and perhaps charge a small fee that would allow a free member to reply ONLY to the paid member that contacted them. I personally would also like to see it changed that all have to post a facial picture that's not blurred. After all, this is a sex site and you (rabbit/dooddette) certainly didn't mind posting your face right? Yes, I agree that this subject may have been approached before but I like most, do not have the time to read and post 2348 replies weather I read and understood them or not. With the inability to comprehend what you read and the amount of free time you seem to have (2348 post), perhaps you should contact Nancy Pelosi and offer your services. You two could walk hand-in-hand as you misquote the thoughts of others. Ok, here is my pet peeve or one of my concerns anyway. I don't know what I or anyone can do about it but I would like to hear what others SERIOUSLY think about this and perhaps get SLS to do something. It arrives with the term 'Free Members' As most of us I think, understands is that 'Nothing from nothing leaves nothing' or perhaps the old 'Chichie' (sp?) If you buy cheap, you get cheap.
I don't often look at a free members profile because 1. They hardly ever have any pictures. 2. They give me the feeling that they are: a. insecure. b. want to be in the water (SLS) but can't swim. c. each has told the other that 'Yeah, we want to do this!' but yet each always holds the other one back. d. they can't correspond with you or you them unless you break some SLS rule. They may look like Ken and Barbie, have natural boobs the size of melons, a pussy tighter then a clamshell and a dick that scares large women and small cattle but what good does it do either party? Communication IS key!! If you can't get together no chemistry is made, no switch is flipped and no contact is made. It's not helping or making it easier for Paid members or Lifetime members to connect. Why doesn't SLS come up with a program with some fee that would allow 'free members' some access to communication? Am I out of line here? If I am, please correct me but as it is, even having 'free members' is a waste of time, effort and print. Who out there has an idea that would bring these folks into the fold and eliminate this roadblock and could convey it to SLS? As it is, I would suggest that SLS charge a trial fee for a period not to exceed 90 days, (not renewable) and then they must decide to either become Paid members or Lifetime members. I have seen free members complain that after 20 years they no longer can read messages sent to them. Oh kiss my cow! 20 years! If you (ok, my opinion) are that damn cheap, you don't need to be in SLS anyway and SLS isn't making a dime off these big spenders. To me a free member is a free loader. You don't get anything for free. SLS I feel needs to make these people understand this. So now I'm asking paid members what they think. Don't get your panties in a bunch and jump on me; I'm just asking you how you feel about: 1. removing 'free Members' or 2. changing their membership to a limited but a lower paid one that would allow them to respond ONLY to those Paid and Lifetime members that contacted them. Va, like you I tend to drive with my cruise control. I'll hit the up/down buttons to adjust my speed 1 or 2 mph but if I have to go below 74 mph I just kick off the CC till I can move along at 74-76 mph.
So I do tend to notice how inconsistent some are in their speed. Sometimes I suspect you're right in that it's unconscious. Other times it's clear that it's deliberate, and those are the ones that really peeve me
I wonder how much of that is not intentional. You passing them might trigger them to notice that they are going kinda slow, and thus they speed up. It might even be unconscious.
The ones that drive me the craziest are the ones that pass you and then slow down, especially if they don't seem to be interested in using their cruise control function. So you speed up and pass them. 10 minutes later they are passing you again.
Sometimes their speeds are so wildly inconsistent.... I've had ones pass me at 85 mph and slowly disappear into the horizon, only for me to be coming up behind them doing 60 15 minutes later. I've been doing 75 the whole time and not changing speeds, but they are all over the place, sometimes even executing rather risky lane changes, but accomplishing nothing more than me just cruisin' along at 75.

A friend if mine has a theory about people like that. He believes that guys think their dick shrinks every time someone passes them and as a corollary, has to re pass them in order for their dick to return to its previous size.

Mayham, I have driven across country 5 times in the last 6 month. One ass hole pasted me using the left shoulder on I-68 when I was passing other cars at 75 MPH. Then he drove across 3 lanes to the exit. I followed the young idiot to the stop sign about 25 YO and told him his mother FUCKS XXXXXX AND THAT'S WHY HE IS AND LOOKS THE WAY HE IS. He jumps out of his car and wants to fight me. I continued left as I was repeating his mothers a "$2.00 HOOKER". Got back on I-68. This behavior is because people think they are entitled and their ego can control others. They are so stupid not knowing, "there is nothing to win."
You try to do the right thing and stay to your right unless passing and when you're coming up on a slower moving car, the car that was hanging back there in the passing lane speeds up so that you can't get back out into the passing lane.
Worse yet, is you pull out behind them and then they slow down to a speed that's slower than you were going in the travel lane. WTF? It's as if some just have this, "Nope, can't get in front of me" thing.
Tend to see this a LOT when it's raining because people don't want to drive in your spray, but then they don't want to pass either. I've seen people literally speed up to 80+ to block you, then drive under the speed limit once they have.

The cruiseline we were on with over 1500 other swingers told the travel agent that booked many in the group that she can no longer book large groups with them because lifestylers aren’t “brand compliant”. No one is banned and there were no issues during the cruise but before we even sailed some troublemakers let the cruiseline and a gospel group that had booked know that we were swingers and while the cruise line didn’t cancel us they already made up their minds that it wouldn’t happen again even before we sailed.
That’s not my pet peeve.
My PP is that, on the Facebook page for the cruise, people are screaming discrimination since they hold LBGT mingles on almost every trip but don’t want swinger groups.
While I don’t agree with the cruiseline I understand their point. I explained that people are confusing sexual orientation and sex. LBGT is about sexual/gender orientation and not about sex itself while swinging revolves around sexual acts from watching/being watched to full swap.
Someone LGB and/or T can be fully vanilla or completely non sexual while Swinging is all about sex in some way.
LGBT is not a choice while swinging is.
Many people just don’t get the diffrence and are trying to argue with me about it. It’s hurting my brain that they don’t get it.

There are many that can help it and some that can't. I was blessed with a fast metabolism and could eat an incredible amount of food for my size. Back in High School while eating a triple lunch, another student I knew came up to me and said, "I hate you". He was mostly kidding, but he said he gained 5 lbs just watching how much I ate. As a sophomore in HS he was close to 400 lbs and he ate a fraction of what I did, at least that I could see during school lunches.
Hate obese people using handicap carts, parking spaces, etc. Should be for folks missing a limb, senior citizens, etc.
