My ex cheated on me and justified it by convincing herself that I was doing the same, which I didn't. I would be perfectly fine not ever seeing this woman again for as long as I live. Even if she was the last woman on earth, there is zero chance I'd do anything with her sexually.

After all of the years since we divorced I have only recently gone from despising her to being able to tolerate her presence if I had to, like seeing her at a LS party. We travel in different circles so there is very little chance that would ever happen anyway. Luckily there were no kids involved, so there was no reason I'd ever have to deal with her again.

Having been on the receiving end of a cheater, my current wife knew that I knew what that felt like first hand and would never do that to anyone else. Now that we're in the LS, there is even less reason to, not that I ever would have anyway.

Think it would depend on how the breakup went. If it was amicable or not.

I actually had that happen to me, but she came as a couple. An LS woman I was dating invited me to a party about 35 miles from home, so I figured it was safe since the ex and I were in the LS. The party was being hosted by a friend of my new girlfriend. About an hour in, my ex comes walking in with her latest man. It had not been a nice divorce. But I also knew that I can easily ignore anyone, so I did not want to cause any trouble at the party or for my friend who invited me. I thought about leaving, but why should I ruin my GF's night out? The host actually asked me if things were going to be alright. I said I would be fine as long as she behaved herself. She told them she would. The party went on with little snippy comments from her here and there. Her new guy challenged me to a game of pool to assert his dominance, so I let him think he was winning and he started talking smack so i cleared the table. He was angry. My ex got into the hot tub with a few people (not her new man) so I took my girlfriend into the study and closed the door so she could give me one of her famous deep throat blow jobs. About 10 minutes later, I see my ex looking through the outside window into the study. Two minutes later she came in and closed the door behind her. Next thing I know people are pouring into the room and the host was demanding to know what happened. It depends? I had some breakups that went better than others, and I'm still friends with two women I dated before I met my wife. One of them I have to thank for my marriage. She convinced my wife to go out with me.

But I had at least one breakup that was messy and not the least bit amicable. But she lived halfway across the country, last time I talked to her.

I ran into an ex-boyfriend at a hotel takeover. We talked and caught up, then proceeded to be a couple for the rest of the night. I felt more comfortable, relaxed and less pressured.
