Grandma used to make upside down pineapple cake. She kept the recipe a secret.

Now youse guys gots me thinking that Grandma might have taken some other secrets to her grave.

@BBC - No, no one can confirm that. Sometimes, a pineapple is just a pineapple, whether you’re in CA or standing on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Better to not think in terms of absolutes, I think.

Peppa4u, if hubby saw you with your pineapple he would in the very least carry your groceries to your car. Plus he would buy a pineapple also and ask you to share it.

Seems like most American men are unaware of the pineapple thing, I usually put one upside down when I go grocery shopping but nada, nothing, zilch. I hope they catch on soon.

Preachers love sex

I'm not religious, so I might he wrong, but swinging could be accepted by churches on a technicality. Sex when not married is not allowed and cheating is not allowed and thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife. But they do not mention married couples having sex with each other at the same time. They are not cheating or coveting. The sex is not occurring outside of marriage.
If it is a religion that belive sex is only for reproduction and not for fun, then you would have a problem.

Love it…. I often sit in church and when the sermon is boring my mind and eyes wonder around the congregation and I play a guessing game. Several of our friends attend church on a regular basis, just not our church. With 1600 members I know we are not the only LS couple….

BigKahunaCat: That is a cool story. We know it's true as we were introduced to the lifestyle by a very sexy couple with whom we attended church. They made parochial school drop off line very interesting as well.

Well, it certainly sounds like you have made some new friends that welcumed you to the neighbor in a most enjoyable way. Not surprising in the least that they asked you over as you exude sexy. I would bet they will have you over for more dinner parties and introduce you to others that are in the LS. Maybe we need to start going to church. LOL

Funny thing about pineapples

We downsized a while back and moved to smaller town. After everything else we checked into churches that help the community, versus the big mega churches that just enrich themselves. We found one and met some wonderful couples. After several conversations, one couple invited us to their home for a dinner. What we did know of them was that very family oriented and very loving.
To our surprise when we entered their home, pineapples were everywhere, pictures, towels even the dinner plates. Hubby and I were taken aback but we decided to keep cool and not mention anything other than their motif was cool. Then I noticed her ankle bracelet... yes pineapple.
We fucked that night all throughout the house, ending up in master bed with her and I getting DP.

Pineapple history...Many of the men in the Carolinas, at the time, were sailors. They would be absent for months at a time. The pineapple carving was displayed on the gate of the yard. When it was appropriate to visit, the pineapple was placed leaves up meant that the husband was home and visitors were welcome. Upside down (the wife arranged it) the husband was gone, but male visitors were welcome. If you are ever in South Carolina, Charleston, tours are available, very interesting.

A lot of men here in America are ignorant to what an upside down pineapple means. Sometimes when I go to the supermarket, I put an upside down pineapple in my shopping cart and many men walked by and never even noticed. lol
