I think we’ve all experienced this and we all know why.

Because this lifestyle, at least within the SLS community, is female focused. That can be seen with pics as well as with how accepting the community is of bi -females and phobic it is of bi-males. And someone eluded to it earlier, the females frequently take far better care of them selves. After 20+ years in the lifestyle, we can say it is ALWAYS the male that ruins it either by looks, personality, or even jealousy.

Quick story that actually goes the opposite way of this discussion, but it is pretty funny. A couple reached out to us once and it had no pictures of her and public face pics of him. We inquired why and he said his wife was not comfortable putting up pictures because she is a prominent lawyer in their area. To which which I replied: That does not logically makes sense to me. Your prominent lawyer wife has no objections to you having public face pics up on a swingers site? Does she think that people who would recognize you would not deduce his wife is the other half of the couples swingers profile?

He replied saying we were not a match and then took down his public face pics hahaha

Yea, we've come across flake couples as well. Convo that goes nowhere or just stops and then a random message again sometime later as if we never talked. Asking to text but providing no number, no face pics, etc. We know of for a fact one profile where the couple split up and the ex male is still using it as a couples profile.

We still engage, but honestly push for a meet sooner than later and have shifted to primarily meeting at events, parties, or clubs which greatly reduces the flake factor.

My experience as a guy playing alone says that a lot of "couples" profiles are really just men using their wife's images so they can get off on some photo exchange and sexy chatting (often pretending to be their wife), and maybe even looking at my nudes.

I ask for verification almost immediately now if a couple wants a lot of chatting before scheduling a meetup.

Many people believe that deceptive marketing gets the best results.
Most women are a lot more attractive then guys. Most men want to see the woman and most women care more about how the guy acts than what he looks like.
Most women can still appreciate a beautiful woman, even if they are straight.
So, they run with what they belive will get them the most attention.
They want to stand out.
Same reason why companies will have a fashion model showing you their car. " buy our car and women like her will want you."
If they used a male model the women would think " great, then I will have a car and a man that doesn't work."
I agree with you, first thing I think of in a profile is they are hiding something , like the guy looks like Jabba the Hut.

Yep def had that happen. Asked for pics of hubby and got dick pics. Uhhhh she knows what a dick looks like, she wanta to see what your face looks like.

When sharing a PM or profile with Mrs. Hop that is the first thing she asks is if there are photos of the male half...not meaning the ole famous dic pic either lol.

This has been discussed in other topics but, like @irishrose22, I can only speculate because we also have pictures of both. Sometimes you can glean the answer about no guy pics from the stats, like a guy that's 5' 6" and 270 lbs.

It's likely safe to say that the majority that do the online searching are guys, and some of them think that the woman is all that matters. You're probably not missing much by "deleting" (blocking?) the ones that show pictures of only the woman. Just the mindset that what the man brings to the table doesn't matter is disrespectful to your wife/gf, at a minimum.

Can't help as we are not one of the couples that do that, but we do understand and have seen the issue for almost 20 years on here.

For "us" we move on quickly.. it tells us all we need to know. Its a swing site people!

This has been talked about since day one on site.. so nothing has changed, besides those seeking pictures of female has increased since CL closed down!.

That is probably the biggest complaint from couples primarily seeking couples. Often after corresponding & they open up pics of the male half, you find out why. Lol!

I don’t know which thread this belongs to but I’m curious as to why couples who are looking for couples only show the woman. That is an immediate delete from me as it doesn’t show both parties involved. Please explain why, preferably from couples that are looking for couples as well
