A few days ago, Jim Delligatti died at age 98. He introduced the Big Mac, Hot Cakes and Sausage, and Egg McMuffin, rolled out at his McDonald's franchise in Pittsburgh in 1968 (Big Mac) and 1980 (Egg McMuffin and Hot Cakes and Sausage).

Yesterday, Peng Chang-kuei died at age 98. He is the creator of General Tso's Chicken, created while serving in the army in 1952 in Taiwan.

Fucking traffic was so bad on Las Vegas blvd last night because of the Rodeo championships that no one could get to the orgy that was planned.

Mrs. SOTW was a teller back in her younger days and was also robbed (note passer). Funny story she got a talking to for NOT giving the robber enough money.

All cancer is genetic. You have genes that make proteins for each part of your body from new skin cells to new liver cells.
Cancer is a name for any part of your DNA that malfunctions. when the part of your DNA that makes proteins for liver cells malfunctions you get liver cancer. When the part of your DNA that makes proteins for new skin cells malfunctions you get skin cancer.
Today doctors kill all the cells that have malfunctioning DNA by radiation, leaving only healthy cells with healthy properly functioning DNA. This how cancer is cured.

When the medical technology that can cut out the malfunctioning DNA and replace it with healthy DNA is finished, then cancer is cured with a fast quick procedure. This technology is costing billions to develop and will only happen if Pharma can make a profit and recoup their costs of the research and development of the technology.

Everyone's in cahoots. I've never been there, but they tell me it's nice. Never been at gunpoint either and hope to never be.

Va its just so slow to find a cure ,we put a man on the Moon in record time ,why not spend all that kind of Money and
energy to find a cure . I'm one of the lucky one ,and I will be forever thankful , But I have lost way too many friends and co worker to cancer . We need to speed it up .

If that were true Inez, you and tens of millions of cancer survivors would be dead.

But I'm sure it's easier to believe that tens of thousands of scientists working for a century are all in cahoots to deny cures for themselves and their loved ones than it is to understand that cancer isn't just one disease, has many causes, and is extremely complicated.

There are times I think the Drug and Heath Company's don't want to find a cure for cancer . Cut into there profits

Va I was told once ,the Italians were on the cutting edge of Breast cancer research ,I don't understand the riches country in the world and we take a back seat to the Italians .

I should clarify when I call it "my baby".

It's the baby of a number of people. I didn't invent the drug, but I developed the manufacturing process (and the associated documents, clearances and specs) and made the first FDA-cleared batch.

Cancer is horrible and a bitch to do research in.

Vosaroxin was my baby. I made the first batch to go into humans. When so many otherwise terminal patients responded so well to something I made myself it made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Unfortunately, it never cleared its clinical trials.

Fucking cancer!

The male half of a couple we met locally is going in for yet another surgery on Monday.

Positive thoughts for all who are dealing with this nightmare.
