Starting a topic and never responding to replys

Sault Sainte Marie, MI, Us

I wish there was a way for a notification to be sent when someone replied to a thread so that the OP could come back and check as not everyone thinks to check here on every visit.

As far as I could tell subscribing to a thread only tells you how many posts have been added since you last posted when you next check in. If you don't regularly check the forums you may have no idea there are replies waiting.

I'm far from being new to the lifestyle. Wife and I owned and on premise club and met a lot of great folks. How ever! More and more I have found how rude some folks can be. A simple "NO THANK YOU" Take little to no time. I swear if it rained some folks would drowned.

Another answer is, to start a thread that is a peeve or bitch that really belongs in the peeve or bitch thread.

What Kitten said. Also, occasionally it's because they just want to post a fantasy as if it were real and that's enough for them.

most are just looking for people to agree with them and don't like the answers that they get

We see that too. But then the thread becomes for the rest of us; which is fine.

You’re not the only one.

It’s why I stopped helping people in “better profiles” and hardly post at all to new members unless it’s with snark.

I don’t get why they bothered posting in the first place.

Regardless of topic, it's always bothered us when people (usually new people) start a thread asking questions of the community, numerous experienced members come back with helpful replies and then we never hear back pos/neg from the OP.
