And we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Mr. Deep Handable and Paradise. So y'all know tonight is a special one. So we're going to go ahead and get this, get the festivities started with a special. How y'all feeling, man? How y'all feeling after 20 years of marriage and after what? This is four years or five years of Sneaker Ball? Fourth year of Sneaker Ball. So all the things, how you feeling? So y'all can answer that in order of priority. Well, I'd like to say thank you for the lovely intro and all the things that y'all did even leading up to this today for our 20th anniversary we appreciate very much the thought and we're feeling good yeah we made it here it's it's the stuff in the for where you're wondering how it's going to turn out if people are going to enjoy it and are they gonna um do they see the vision so they'll participate in it and when you see it all coming together like what we we are tonight you know it's all worthwhile. That's right, brother. Y'all basically put together a hotel takeover, like a half a hotel takeover. And that's just off of, like real talk, that's just off of who y'all are. You know what I'm saying? Y'all got a gen, not generic, what's the word I want? Organic, a genuine, organic following of friends and people. A group of folks that y'all met and accumulated over the years. They just vibe off of y'all energy, y'all genuineness. And they just say, you know, y'all say, hey, we partying this day. And they show up. So how are you feeling beautiful? How are you feeling, Miss Paradise? Man, when I tell you the excitement that has built up to today has been amazing. It has not just been with us, but the people that are attending the sneaker ball and this, as he says, half a hotel take home. Which we are very, very humbled by. Because when we thought about this, we only thought of it like, oh, let's have some floors. Like one floor and all the rooms gather. And then we get the lists from the managers like, you guys have like two and a half floors. So how are we doing this? Which some people may seem small, but that's big for us. We're not podcasters. We're not anybody broadcasting anywhere. It's just word of mouth and people love to party with us. Exactly. I can't ask for anything more. Exactly. And I think that is a testament, again, to who you are. People gravitate towards the people that they admire, that they maybe aspire to be, the energy that they want to embody themselves. And again, like you said, y'all not podcasting, y'all not doing no YouTube, y'all not doing nothing, but like kicking it. And this is just an organic following of beautiful people with the same vibe vibe the same energy that want to give y'all back what y'all giving to them yeah and sneaker ball we and all four of us have to sit here and just think how it's grown yeah just in four years over each year is like better and better for sure yeah for sure for sure how you feeling about it tris it's a's a good thing. No, I agree with that. I mean, we just met some folks earlier today. It was like, hey, how'd you hear about Sneaker Bar? Oh, I heard it from a friend. I was like, oh, so you're not friends with anybody else here? Like the host, you know, that, oh, we, you know, we phrase with so-and-so that's normally how it goes, right? No, it's like people, few folks here that are here for the first time that heard about it from somebody else and like cool i'm okay with that that's what we're here for for sure man and i i'd be remiss trist if we didn't give shout out to our folks you know um the red and readies yes the playfully artsy's and all the people that are, how's it going? You know, that didn't get to come this year. They're checking in, like, send us pictures. Let us know. Sounds like FOMO. Also, what you just stated, it is amazing that we have people coming in from other states. Yes, you do. Yes, that we have people flying in to see us. Yo, you got people. Pittsburgh, that was a guy, right? We got Orlando, Miami, I think, or Florida, whatever it is, Dallas. It's crazy. It's beautiful, man. It's beautiful. So what is the biggest change this year that we're doing for Sneaker Ball that people are excited about? This hotel. Well, I's the floor meet and greet slash kind of crawl we have people hosting rooms and oh my god the themes are beautiful this is one of the times i wish the listeners could see what's going on yeah
Speaker2: because these people have come out yeah to not. You would probably think we were giving prizes away for this thing. You know, that's going to be next, right? That's going to be next. This was a test run to it, right? This was a test run. There was not a lot of time to really try to get it all together. So I'm pretty sure that's going to be next, right? People are like, oh, I did all this. Then it's going to be a one-up from the next time. Then it's going to be a prize. Like Paradise said, it's getting better and better, changing and modifying. We're making little tweaks here and there every year. The first sweet and greet was in the basement at the club. Then we had it at the hotel. That was just like an open door situation. Then I think, is that this year? Now this year is a whole floor crawl, two floors. So they may be able to hear some of the noise in the party outside. Yeah, I think it's like, we take lessons learned from each year, right? Because last year, we thought it was great. But the issue we had was that random people could just come up the elevator and was walking the floor, which made it kind of like, ah, then this year it was kind of like, how can we eliminate that? So I think every year has been something else. Like, oh, I don't know about that. Let's figure that out for different. So tell us about the theme of your room. What you got going on in there? Paint the picture for the listener. The picture is, we'll start off by saying 20th anniversary. This is me throwing glitter. Yes. It's our 20th anniversary. So what we've decided to do is do champagne, cupcakes, and cookies to celebrate our 20 years. I like your cookies. Yeah, you can hey now. Sir, we are being professionals right now. Professionals, yes. So, yes, champagne, cookies, and cupcakes is the theme for our room. Love it. What do we got going on here, Trish? What was the theme? We decided on it. You gonna mess it up. No, I'm not. Go ahead. We got kinky pineapple. Kinky pineapple, You nailed it. Well, hey. That's right. One side of the room is kind of like dedicated to the pineapple, the fruity, delicious, sweet, sweet side. And this side, you're sweet now. We got the dim lights. We got the BDSM kind of toys. And of course, we got the microphones for people who want to stop by and tell us how they feeling. Yeah. And we also have our sign. Yeah, of course. That was custom made from a gift from our friends in Red and Ready. Red and Ready. So we really appreciate that. They got that made for us and we were like, oh, we're going to bring it to the suite. Why not? Yeah. It's a suite greet. And the other thing that we're doing a couple of things actually that are different this year. I just wanted to talk about that. Yeah, we're doing the floor crawl as well. Also, Paradise and Mr. Dependable, we got some goodie bags that you're giving away to people that are actually participating as well. We're going to do a raffle that we're going to give away to other gifts at the club. So, like, again, it just gets different. Like, every time we do it, it gets better. Yeah. And this is exciting. We travel a lot to like all inclusive resort and like, but surprisingly lifestyle events, the food usually isn't the best, but they took the cake. The food was amazing. It was incredible. We've been to Jamaica two other times and the food there, they don't play about it. I love it. We definitely recommend that as well. I love it. I love it. As we started our LS journey, your podcast was kind of helping us get our feet wet and understand a little bit more of the community and try to help us understand what we were really getting into. What did you take back down to Florida with you to kind of keep this thing going? I think that initially we were kind of at a spot where we did the research. We were comfortable as a couple. So it was kind of like our, you know, are we doing this or not? So we kind of jumped off the deep end and kind of haven't really looked back. Right. It's been a whirlwind of two years. We have learned so much, had so many great experiences, met some really amazing friends. Yeah, it was no looking back. I love it. I love it. That's cool. That's cool. Well, the lifestyle world has obviously opened its arms and welcomed y'all in in full embrace. So hopefully y'all feeling that same love at this 2025 Sneaker Ball. Yes. What are y'all most excited about for tonight's event? I think that our first experience was just us two and we didn't do it as like a group. So we brought people here that we've met within the past two years and just experiencing the Sneaker Ball with our tribe. So just kind of, like I said, experiencing this with our friends and getting to meet some new people and just taking it all in. That's exciting. That is exciting. Again, when we came the first time, we just kind of sat on stage in a corner and watched. It was packed. I didn't expect it to be as packed as it was, which is such a good thing, but there are people everywhere this year. I want to get a little more in the mix. I want to have a good time. I'll not be so deer in the headlights. Yes, get on a dance floor. I'd like to enjoy the vibe. Yeah, because now you have a vibe. At first you were, like you said, deer in the headlights. You were trying to get the vibes. Now you've made some mistakes here. You've had some successes here. You kind of figured out your groove. Y'all know how to play off each other. You know how to play off with your friends. So yeah, I'm sure it's going to be like a completely different experience. We're looking forward to it. Shit, man, we're going to have to stay in touch so we can do a post so we can find out how everything went. Two years later. So we check in every two years with y'all. No, that's cool. That's exciting. But I do have a question, I know, before we jump. No, we're not jumping. Go ahead. I have a question. So you went to a sneaker ball and then this sneaker ball. From your perspective, what did you see as, like, the difference that are, like, some of the likes or some things that you're like,. So I would say not even a like or a dislike but the first time we didn't stay on site we stayed in the city and so we just kind of drove down you know went to the party and then left back. Part of my most favorite part about lifestyle is like this part where it's just a bunch of strangers who get together who commune who have a good time it's all love everybody is comfortable like i'm enjoying that so much more than well of course we didn't have it last time but like that is my favorite part just the community aspect of it all yeah i could not have said it better i could not have said it better um just meeting people from all over the country and enjoying just like like you said just commun communing and enjoying this experience with one another. I got some homies who are going to know what you're saying. They're going to be like, oh, shit. But I can't wait to see them. I want to see them. I can't wait to take pictures of all the sneakers. I for it how you feeling about that sir you having a good day already all i can say is i love it when a plan comes together it was very last minute yeah you know it just worked out i love that nice nice how did y'all hear about the sneaker ball um a couple of friend of ours been i think two years in a. Third year. Okay. And they've been telling us and they showed us the pictures and we're like, oh, that seems like fun. And then when they said it's coming around again, we're like, let's go check it out. Yeah. They insisted. They were like, y'all have to come. We cannot be friends anymore. And I was like, okay. We'll go. Well, they know what they're talking about. And then how did you get into this? So I heard about it from them. And I was not going, I didn't think I was going to be able to make it. Okay. And then you texted me this week. Like, oh, we're hoping that you were able to make it. And I was like, well, let me look at these flights again real quick. So I did. And I was like, I'll see y'all on Friday. And here you are. And here we are. Here I am. Yeah. That is phenomenal. So how long has this situation been going on and this I'm circling all three of them. Did you guys like meet at a club? Is this a thing or y'all just like good friends? Who's going to tell our story? We always say we go together real, real bad. But obviously, we're in two different states. So we're keeping in contact and just having a good time when we get together at events and visiting each other back and forth. That's awesome. That's awesome. And we met at Secrets. So that's when we met at Secrets. Oh, at Secrets. I like Secrets. Yeah, we need to go visit more often because, yeah, this whole couch situation, it's smoking, babe. He over here, he about to start sweating. It's a lot of fun. He's like, I can tell you from experience. No complaints. So, let's see. What are y'all most excited about for Sneaker Ball? What are y'all most excited about? Like, the hotel, the room the the room crawl the actual club this is i think this is our first time to an event like this like a hotel takeover room crawl that's cool we're really interested in seeing the club okay how it is yeah we've seen some pictures okay and just like everybody keeps talking about it like you know what we got to get there i didn't think it was going to happen so fast but here we are so here you are experience it yeah and it's like, everybody keeps talking about it. Like, you know what? We got to get there. I didn't think it was going to happen so fast, but here we are. So we're going to get to experience it. Yeah. And it's a good night. A sneaker ball is one of those times where you can still dress sexy and, but also be comfortable in your shoes. Right. Because I mean, as women, we wear heels and all the things you're dancing and you're doing all these things. But when you got on sneakers, it's just like I look good, but I'm comfortable and I'm still cute. So we in here. So someone's the dancer, huh? No, he's pointing right at me because I literally wear sneakers to work every day. I have a very professional job. And I'm like, listen, if you have a problem with me being dressed up from the ankles up, then I don't need to work here. I will wear a straight dress or whatever, nice pants, a little suit action, whatever I need to do. I'm going to wear my pandas. There you go. I'm going to wear my Jordans. Yeah. She has a daily ritual now that I'm at work and she's leaving and then the ring camera comes on and she's like, she's like, oh, this is my fit. It's always like some fancy thing coming down, and she's like, bam, sneakers. I'm like, look at this. Which sneakers is it going to be today? Yeah, and it's usually a pair of Jordans. That's what I was going to say. Let's talk about it then. If you don't mind sharing with the people, tell them what you're going to be wearing tonight. Let's talk about sneakers. We'll be wearing a classic OG Jordan 1. With the green glow check. I always get compliments when I wear these. They are nice. Those are clean. Let's rock these tonight. And what about you, ma'am? So I remember a very particular picture that you participated in last year with another like crop of giant men and one tiny little woman, man. So y'all been busy, huh? Y'all like to move and shake. Tell us just a little bit about your summertime. It's been so busy, but we're winding it down with some of the best stuff. But it's been so busy. We've had some lifestyle stuff, some kid stuff, some vanilla stuff. But just keeping it as busy as possible for the summer. Empty Nesters, just living our best life. There you go. Go ahead. So all that stuff I said about them earlier, we're going to strike that from the record. She's rubbing in the empty nested thing. It's making me feel some type of way. No, I got goals now. I got aspirations. You know what I mean? Now, these two are super cool folks. So tell us just a little bit about, you know, what you're excited about tonight as far as like the sneaker balls concerned and the room crawl and all the good things. What y'all thinking about? Listen, we had such a good time last year. Well, first we heard about it. Yeah. We said we had to go. We came last year, met old friends, new friends, had a really good time at the sweet and greet then. And now we're here with the room crawl, meeting more people. All the rooms are decorated. The music's pumping. The drinks are good. The food's hot. Yes. The women are delicious. Hey. Hey. Listen, the men are not half bad either. The men are not half bad either. Hey, Trish, I think we could just let them run the podcast. We had such a good time last year, though. Like, just the friendliness, the welcomeness, the sweet and great beforehand is key. Like, everybody gets to know each other before showing up at the clubs. And so when you walk in the door, you already have the people you just connected with for the past two hours. So it was nice to do that. And this is one of the only events that really do that. That's awesome. That's great feedback. And I like the diversity as well. I like just the club itself is beautiful. It's big. The dance floor, the downstairs, everything. So this was a key event. That's awesome. That's some great feedback. You know, really hearing that, you know, how everything kind of ties together. You get that feeling, but not until you hear someone, you know, a participant really say it. Yeah, you hear from people. You can think it all you want, but like, it was great. Yeah, yeah. And everybody's like, it sucked. And we're like, oh. Well, no, that really helps. That really helps. So, no, y'all got some special sneakers that y'all whipping out on the people tonight, or what? We keeping those a secret, or y'all gonna let us in on what y'all got going on? I do.
