Now that we've got that out of the way, make yourself comfortable for joining us in this episode of Living the Sweet Thank you. ladies and gentlemen thank you so much for joining us in this episode of living the sweet life she is my beautiful sexy co-host and wife the lovely trist he is my sexy chocolate husband and nothing does my heart better than when we say that line live in front of a bunch of people and then they like cheer or say it with us yes they're like waiting for it yeah man like it really does my heart well hearing that i love it i love it and we can't say thank you enough to everybody who came out to this year's sneaker ball and partied with us yes i mean it's a lot for people to come out just based on your word right I i mean we had people come out that we have met at other uh lifestyle events um over the years and it was just great to be able to have people in town trusting us with this event right no in town is crazy totally like bull crapping right no that's what i'm saying like in town it's crazy because like people had to get on airplanes to get to where we were and it was so cool man and we're so appreciative of each and every soul who trusted us and trusted vicky and trusted mr dependable and paradise with this event and i gotta say it was dope yes we had sweet talkers in the building that showed up and showed out and i was super excited about seeing the sweet talkers it's always great right to me especially meeting new sweet talkers as well that is um i mean of course the ogs but also to meet new people that you have never met before yeah and to just be able to have you know conversation that connection and that connection and really um just to say for us to say thank you for listening to us banter you know for however it's been like four years now five five years i always say four years i said it the other day too and he corrected me he's like it's five years babe five so yes man um this is not going to be the full recap no of sneaker ball no we're gonna break this thing up in chunks this my friends is the uh what do we call it babe the sweet and greet there's a sweet and greet this is the sweet and greet y'all listen so what you're going to hear in rapid fire succession are clips directly from this year's sweet and greet we did things a little bit differently this time how did we do it this time tris yeah so once you go to enough lifestyle events you pick up some tricks you pick up a few things too and you're like hey look we can just do that thing we did last time right and and not to reinvent the will of doing what we did last time but however um the last couple of peacops uh or libertine events that we have been to um that is a room crawl right and actually like the room crawl what is a room crawl so a room crawl is basically when there's select rooms and that um on certain floors and that your room is decorated it's not you decorate your room you decorate right you decorate your own room to whatever theme you want and then you have different treats for your guests as they come in it's a great way to socialize and meet people um and for everyone to like go to different rooms i like going to go to the different rooms to see like things see what snacks they got and and what snacks they have and everybody has like different drinks and like little small like giveaways but it's always fun for this time the sweet and great i mentioned to lock like how about we do it like room crawl style like but not at all, like different rooms, just our room.

Speaker1: We have people come to our room. How did we design the room? How'd you decorate it? And yeah, we have people come to the room. So with that, the decorations, you know, I've tried to be minimal with the decoration, but Locke was like, no, bring this, bring that, bring this, not. So I'm like, oh my gosh. I said, bring the balloons. You did. That was it. And you said, no, and the lights. Of course we're going to bring the lights. Thank you. was like no bring this bring that bring this not so i'm like oh my gosh bring the balloons you did and you said no and the lights of course we're gonna bring the lights yes all the things and then oh get the chicken so anyway so the room was um decorated in true living a sweet lifestyle so we had yeah so it's a true living a sweet lifestyle uh we had the lights, we had, we had a little card game, like starters, if we needed that to kind of help people start the conversation. We also had candles, like the electric candles. Yes. We bought a couple of drapes, like a white drape and a red drape to kind of cover up some of the the tables that was there we did the french 75s oh yeah those are so yeah we did the french 75s we had other drinks and don't forget the chicken and then we had this chicken right because i was just thinking at first it's gonna have like some candy you know do a real like minimum no yeah it turned into a thing but Mr. Dependable and Paradise brought in a charcuterie board. They had a charcuterie board. They brought in some grapes. They had their shots. What was the name of the shots? Man, I don't know. It's like a slippery nipple and a wet, wet pussy. I don't know. Something like that, right? So they had different shots for people that wanted shots. I think it was like a cum shot and a wet nipple. I don't know. It was something like that, right? So we had that. And then we had no idea how many people were actually going to come to the Sweet and Green because it's our first time doing it this way. And what we did was we did it right before the sneaker ball. So that was like around like 7-ish, right? And then we had announced it online people showed up it showed out it was great it was awesome so again so what you're going to hear is uh rapid fire interviews of people chit-chatting and coming through and hanging out and just you're just going to hear that buzz that electricity that just courses through your veins when it's party time right yeah it literally like we went from sleepy to like ready to go yeah it was crazy it was crazy so the first one you're going to hear is from Vicky herself she came by to check in on us and make sure everything was up to par and that we didn't have any needs or anything like that so she stopped in she did a quick little hit quick interview with uh us in paradise and mr dependable the doors had just opened at that time so nobody came in but then things got crazy yes things started happening we started to get more and more interviews people got a little bit more social people were drinking i had to pull a tryst away from folks for a little bit yeah because it was socializing and i had to see i had to meet people so i was like yeah you were definitely at your best i love it when you're a social butterfly yeah and um you know so the whole thing was just awesome man um i want to issue a correction before you even hear this so we called um some of our friends our Mr. and Mrs. DMV, when we called them something else on another episode. And I can't remember what we called them, but they're the couple that has the matching J's. You're going to hear that story from them. But then later on, we actually talked to the actual Mr. DMV. We did. so y'all gonna hear it twice just a heads up but you know uh that's because we lack in creativity when it comes to it's not true giving people fake names you know we we had a lot happening at that time but no it's awesome and we want to give a special shout out to sir dandy and lady dandy of therapeutic dandy so we talked to them we talked to them about you know their clothing design business and everything but we forgot to say the damn name yes we did yes i was like oh yeah yeah so shout out to therapeutic dandy check them out man they're doing some great work highly creative unique designs check them out man and just dope ass people just dope dope people man a lot of fun and um i can't wait to sit down and talk with them we're supposed to be doing a zoom sometime soon yeah because we've known him for a bunch of years a few years now yeah yeah but we've never had like that one-on-one conversations like that so we plan on doing that very soon but listen y'all

That's right. So it's no good if you're just talking to yourselves. You got to meet some different people. That's what it's all about. Right, Paradise? Meeting and greeting. All the time. And that's what we're doing right now, folks. We are in the Holiday Inn in Catonsville, room 501, ready to meet. No, sweet and greet. We're going to do some sweetening and greeting and uh we can't wait to party vicky uh so you got your outfit already i got two oh she got two so that means you got uh a double double sneakers double sneakers see man if y'all listening and y'all didn't come to man, y'all need to start making your way out so you cannot miss Vicky and her double sneaker situation. And don't get here late because it always tends to fill to capacity. I'm telling you, I get in. VIP sold out like a month ago. It was great. That's right. That's right. But you guys have guys have a huge section you guys have that whole side so any of your friends coming in oh they got plenty of room we got that we got that cover that's right definitely everyone's been hitting us i know you guys paradise and mr dependable mr dependable you guys got people coming all up and down from the east coast huh yes very much so they've been checking in, asking some of them. Yes, we have some from Philly that we met up there when we went to one of the other clubs and talked to them in New Jersey. Yeah, they said they're coming, too. I think there's one couple coming from Florida, too. They messaged me today. Oh, we got a gentleman standing right behind you, Vicki, that's coming from Florida. They flew in for the sneaker ball. Yeah, we got people from New Orleans. That's an honor. Let's say that, and we're going got people from New Orleans that's an honor that's an honor people have trusted us enough to go let's see what's going on we got Texas we got folks from Dallas we'll do our best to never disappoint you that's right you never do that's why we've been coming here to see you for years and years you know it's been a long time you have single handedly been instrumental in a lot of people's first time fucking other people so thank you very much for that Vicky you are the staple of the community I'm thrilled that I get to do that. You have popped many a cherry in this town. It's such a beautiful place for people to get together and meet new people and just enjoy themselves in a way that's safe and secure. And that's our pressure-free. And I've just enjoyed it from day one as to why we constantly just be like let's go to Taboo it's a wonderful community that you've got it definitely is we are still friends with a lot of people that we met at the club that's how we met each other and we're still friends like today hell we had our first date at Taboo I think so yes we did and I thought we was going to break the curse so so yes we did yeah that's right and i thought we was going to break the curse so here's something that's right let me tell you this what happens literally something like this happens has happened every time sneaker ball has occurred so let me tell you what it is here's the curse the curse is that someone in this group always forgets something. Yeah. At home. Oh, yes. And I mean, like, a critical thing. The first time, he forgot his whole outfit at home. My whole suit. The entire thing. The entire outfit was at home. And we got lucky that one of our other friends didn't leave the area, so they went to our house and got it for him. Can you just break in my house and go to my house? Go to my house, right? I'm going to tell you what you need to do. And then the second time, you left your hat. And I said, well, just leave. Don't just go ahead and just go and don't worry about the hat. He was like, no. The hat goes with my outfit. I'm going home. I'm going to break in. The hat is critical for Mr. Dependable because he We'll be right back. No, the hat goes with my outfit. I'm going home. I'm going to break in. The hat is critical for Mr. Dependable because he don't wear no other clothes. He never got no clothes on, so he has to have a hat. He's like, I have to have my hat. And he went all the way back home to get it before we had to be at the club. And then this year and we were just talking all the trash we was like man yep this gonna be the year it's gonna be the year ain't nobody gonna i ain't forget nothing i ain't gonna forget nothing this guy he's like i can't talk about my white shirt i was like what do you mean like those the shirt that goes with your vest yeah i don't have it. Had to run to the mall. She forgot something too.

Speaker1: Go fess up. Yeah, the curse has bounced to the women. I left my cup. My cup. Well, no, technically I always have a secret stash of it. i'm good with that but the cup is a staple of me moving around the club yeah so the cup got left behind i'm sure we'll find something for you to drink yes i've already reached out to one of our friends she's looking out for me nice no she's like hey nobody would have known it if somebody hadn't blown up my spot yes yes but literally it happens every year i don't know how but i wouldn't call it a curse i call it a tradition it's the way we kick this the way you do it before before you go to sneak you you and you uh-huh you're next i'm too much of a planner to be like oh definitely you're gonna forget something next year right we got it on record now but vicky thank you so much i know you got to get back over there um we're right behind you we cannot wait to party with you guys thank you so much for everything you do thank you for all of this awesome and uh we look forward to helping you out in the future ma'am you know we're very fortunate for the opportunity thank you guys so much more excited we can't wait to see you all all right let's get it all right all right let's go let's do it we are back in the sweet and greet 2024 baby right honey yes that's right we done got the door open we waiting for people to come in but y'all know what it is as soon as we open that door two of the dopest mofos around this town and walked in they got their voices back because the last time we heard from them we was in hedo jamaica and these poor people couldn't even talk to us, but they managed to get some sounds out. From the Tampa Bay area. Whoa, Florida. That's right. Good old Florida. They made their way to Baltimore to come and kick it for the 2024 Sneaker Ball. Yes, indeed. How grateful are we? I hope so, because we talk about it. I hope we live up to it. I hope we live up to the hype. What do y'all think so far? Oh, well, we're grateful for the invite and just being here with you guys.'s an awesome group of people and just a great community so yes we're excited very excited yeah um it's our first time in the dmb area so yeah it's all new for us and we were very happy we wanted we heard about the snicker bowl i think since we started listening to the podcast over a year two years ago and we we were ready and when we got in you know more of a a little bit more close to you guys i was like yeah yeah we definitely have to go and yeah we one night where i don't have to worry about my big heels and just wear sneakers?

And I was like, my feet feel great all night long. much better with him yes i did notice the difference yeah your true height is showing that part well i'm very short so i get self-conscious about that but um i think we we got a nice outfit together there's not a self-conscious bone in your body, man. You guys know quite a few people here, right? Yes. We know some people from Austin. No. You know why, because y'all were in our group from the beginning. sure oh yes so we it's not anything that we ever looked at because we never really wanted to we just looked at when we started all this stuff was just to get people to get together and just have fun yeah just make friends that was our whole concept when someone asked us did we want to take over the group because they couldn't do it and we just from there we just always ask people to come with us where we went yeah that's all it was you lead and they shall follow i know i'm following paradise wherever she go so when they asked me to do it we were just like let's just see yeah everybody was like it sounds like fun sneakers and then y'all remember no one was even downstairs was playing much in the sex rooms as much. Oh, yeah. He's up there dancing. Like, you can dance all night. like fun sneakers and then y'all remember no one was even downstairs playing much in the um sex rooms as much so the first one was phenomenal i heard a lot of people couldn't even get in because the line was so long you know and same in the second one so we anticipate this one's going to be just as great because everyone seems so excited that that's right and even more people have heard about it even from other states that talk to us than we've gone to other events. I think that's the most exciting part, just seeing people actually fly in, get hotel rooms, you know, the whole nine, coming to kick it with us. They're just like sending DMs talking about, oh, I'm coming to sneak a ball. Where should I stay? I said, you coming, you're flying here? You don't live here. It's like you don't live here. So how are feeling uh paradise so in year three this is year three do you feel like things have gotten easier or are we making it a little like i know this is a different kind of sweet and great how you feeling about all the changes from year to year um i feel great about the changes now growth um i'm trying to think of the perfect word for it because it's not pressure because kind of when you're doing something fun it's not really pressure for sure so you're just trying to get together with a bunch of friends and have fun and just because when you're meeting people they've either heard about it or were telling them about it so as far as it growing we're just wondering how All right. you're meeting people they've either heard about it or we're telling them about it so as far as it growing we're just wondering how long this momentum is going to go on for yeah yeah true because we keep meeting new people and keep making so many you know and all the stuff that we go to so we just tell them about the things that we're doing and plus it's our anniversary too so people like to come yeah
Speaker2: and the funniest part sneaker ball intrigues people like no matter how many years we've been going they're like what is that how does that work how do you dress like just how it sounds a sneaker and ball yeah see those ball people are not dressed as balls ladies and gentlemen Not testicles walking around. You might see my testicles, but I won't be dressed as a testicle. No.
Speaker1: No. We're going to start out dressed and end up naked. That is the idea. But everybody's going to have some sneakers on. There you go. What about you, Trish? How are you feeling year three? You know, any time I get to put on a tutu, I'm good. Go. You you put on tutu with heels sneakers it don't matter but with sneakers it it looks even like just cute right yeah i mean cute all the time you're cute all the time mama you're like slippers you're trying to get some tonight i am as long as she don't have that pink robe y'allall know that pink robe. Oh, my gosh. Game over. I'm talking about my pink robe. Shut it down. He literally, our friends came in town and stayed at our house for the first time for the sneaker ball. And he's like, okay, so I'm just letting y'all know as long as she don't put in that pink robe, you okay? I'm like, they don't even know what a pink robe is. Put on that pink robe. They're going to fire down. It's time to go night-night. Shut it down. Yeah, man.

Speaker1: Go to sleep. Because I'm about to go to sleep. No bullshit. So now when we go somewhere, everybody's going to be looking for the pink robe. No, no. It's a bat signal. And if they see it, it's a problem.

Help yourselves in help yourselves to some snacks drinks welcome yeah so for me um i mean year three i'm excited just to see the growth of the whole thing, seeing the party get better and better. And, I mean, the club has changed over the years.

Speaker1: The clientele is just getting more and more, like, engaged and more friendly. I think that's a testament to the people that you're bringing in. The testament that, you know, that, I don't know, the word of mouth that gets around on how open and and um just how friendly the the club is man so we got people coming from farm wide to come and kick it with us and it's just an honor to be a part of that you know i was joking when i said you guys are like the lighthouse you know and everybody kind of follows but it's kind of the truth you know people see dopeness and they want to be around it they want to give us too much credit people invest their time and money to come and hang out with you guys so that means something so yeah man all right people we got we got folks coming in for the sweet and greet uh we are excited and we're gonna get some more hits in a minute we'll talk to y'all soon ladies and and gentlemen, the Sweet and Greet is live, man. It does not taste the same if you don't use, like, fresh lemon juice. It's different. I tried it one time without it, and I was like, that's not the same thing. Like, you need it.
