So, our adult child sends a text message to us the other day and she says that hey i found your friend down here and she scared me and i'm looking like who is she talking about because at first you can just see the text come through like on our watches so i opened the message on my phone and who is she talking about babe who's simone my mannequin yes so he has this mannequin for his rope tie but he moved it in a position where if you just come around the corner in our basement and you're trying to go up the steps you literally she's standing at the bar see her standing at the bar and it looks like a shadow of a person so you it catches you off guard, and you're literally startled.
Every time. Every time you come around the corner. Even if you know that it's there, you still, you come around that corner. It's like, huh. And you're like, can you please not ask Tim today?
Can you please move the doll back some so that when we come around the corner, around the corner we don't get scared every time so number one trust let's not call her a doll it's not a doll she's not a doll let me okay she is a mannequin baby please you gotta give context it's a mannequin that i use to practice shibari i said that time we have a we had a party coming up and so i needed like a little bit of time to practice because we had some people who were kind of curious about rope stuff so i had to pull out from behind this here curtain behind us and take her to like a more common area of where i i uh where i chill and do my work and you know watch tv and all that stuff so i pulled her out to the my little common area and uh you know i was tying her up and maybe i just but your common area goes back it's not like your common area is just right there at the bar it's not it's a common area it is not you have a whole man cave on that side you can literally push that what we're not calling her doll mannequin back so that people aren't afraid every time they come around the corner your heart skip a beat because you're scared one stop being so chicken because you know she there it doesn't matter you even said you jump so when you come around i don't jump which means you're scared right if you i mean am i not thinking about this right sweet talkers that means that you're scared if you have to i just a little gasp just a little one just a little it's inaudible most of the time you know what i'm saying but it's like um so the thing is really i move her close to the bar so i can put my ipad up there so i can watch the videos on how to you know tie instead of moving it to you know the front there's nothing really up there at eye level because i'm standing i need it at the eye level you know where the bar is and uh but when you're done you can just pull her back i walk away like i know i know and then you just leave it for everybody to be scared yeah yeah in the entire house but the cat the cat's the only one that don't jump i love you stop judging me so how are you feeling and your adult child found your mannequin oh she's like how do you explain that he didn't you don't he didn't explain it guys he just said oh ha ha ha listen and i'm waiting for him to like get into some type of explanation why you have a mannequin standing in the middle of the the room with her arms tied arms tied yeah i mean listen if she sees that and she she saw it like but if she asked about it i mean look she did she said i found your friend mom and dad are freaky mind your business that's it elaborate at all no there's no need lol that's what you get back in the text message haha that's it that's all he said too that was it so like how are you feeling i am feeling um i don't know i'm feeling kind of tired like you said like a little little exhausted but um i'm i'm motivated like uh the party that i mentioned we did a little bit of shibari um i did a little shibari there and i'm rejuvenated on the art form like i'm really excited to try it out.
And as you are going to hear a little bit later, I put a very important meeting on Trish's calendar for this weekend. Oh, yes. For a three hour sex session. Again, we're going to hear some more details on how that's all going to go down. But and yeah, I did put it on her calendar.
I had to put it on on the calendar so she knows this is the time that we are going to dedicate to this activity and then we're going to let y'all know how it goes but uh yeah yep that's right we're gonna pack snacks and little juice boxes orange slices it's gonna be a field trip that's right but no um so that's what i'm excited about man i'm real charged up from the shibari stuff and i'm real excited to um you know spend that quality time with you and uh kind of just roll around for a little while and see how it goes you know what i mean yeah and we'll provide feedback oh yeah i want your feedback baby you let me know how we did.

Let's go. all right folks thank y'all so much for hanging in there all right this is episode number 82 and we are talking about fantasy portland trist what is or was fantasy portland and so it was um just a lot of the i guess the the aura about it was just trying to build up like people's fantasies and kind of have a play on that. Yeah, yeah.
It was a it was a podcast of Palooza Libertine event where you bring where Kate from formerly Swinging Down Under, but Wanderlust Swingers brings together a ton of lifestyle people from all over the place and has it's pretty much like a convention right no not a convention but like I don't know like a boutique convention yeah yeah a little small swinger convention where you get to mix in pleasure and education all at once right so what what this one was like trish said was focused on fantasies and making fantasies come true and what are fantasies and how do you define a fantasy and you know how do you keep fantasies alive um and i thought she did a great job of putting together all the right people to have these different kinds of discussions and uh allowing people to explore those fantasies right so uh just in the title it's fantasy portland so tris that was our first time to the pacific northwest what did you think like how did we get out and was the travel difficult getting out there uh for us it was just long yeah it was because we can't we have to come all the way from the east go all the way to the west yeah so it was it was a long day of traveling right um for us but uh other people some people it was able to just drive in 45 minutes which i was excited for them actually it's like oh i i live you know in portland this it's only like 45 minutes i'm like really and i think that's why she did it because i think there's a very large like um lgbtq plus uh community as well as a lifestyle friendly community out there and when we got there and we started mixing and mingling we learned that a lot of the people who were there were from that area or not too far from it yeah yeah so that was really cool it was a lot of couples and they were just like grateful to have something in their neck of the woods finally you know what i mean so i think that was probably part of the reason why she had it out there yeah what were your impressions of portland um and i'm gonna answer too i'm not just putting you on the spot okay i was trying to think i was like are we talking about my actual answers or i mean your actual answers i don't understand no i thought portland was a very interesting city um it reminded me of arizona but with grass i guess in color yeah kind of like just the vibe of it but i did like i did tell you i like the fact that which we didn't get to try they had a lot of like ventures like shops vintage like yeah not ventures like uh thrift shops that look like it's a whole bunch of trash in it but no they had like really nice looking vintage shops like vintage clothing and antiques and things like that and things like that that i would have liked to try we was just busy i couldn't do it but it it i think that part was good and i also like the fact that they had a big acceptance it seemed like right um for inclusive yeah it was a really inclusive kind of vibe yeah so i felt like that part like you can be whoever you wanted to be basically in that city like i saw so so many different walks of life like when it was just outside and i thought that that was wonderful right to have something like that and kind of like i guess that was kind of downtown or close to downtown area um and i like the food trucks i think the food trucks is one of my favorite parts go on oh sorry so yeah you weren't there you weren't there um they had a lot of food trucks actually on different corners um in portland which is way different than here like you you know you may have like a dedicated spot where people are going to work that wasn't the case um they were literally like on the side of the corners and they'll have like food trucks and we went to this area called the little american little american area that just had like a whole bunch of different food trucks and they had like a a brewery place that was there kind of like on site you can get drinks from it was just like a whole vibe yeah it was like a parking lot it was a parking lot set up for uh designated trucks like you said um and it was maybe about eight to ten in there right next to the brewery and they had like good seating um walking distance away from the hotel which was really nice um yeah i mean if we want to get to like the hotel what did you think of like the the hotel itself and like the the surrounding area um i thought the hotel was nice i just don't think that whoever designed the hotel thought about storage wise that's fair in the room um and that's nothing on kate that's just whoever designed the actual rooms they didn't think about stores there was no dresser drawers there was no drawers anywhere for you to like really put stuff yeah it was a little in your room with the uh the bathroom sink was in the bedroom bedroom yeah it was a little different yes the bedroom sink like the bathroom sink itself that should be in the bathroom was outside in the in the bedroom yeah and then the shower extended outward into the bedroom it's just like some like little weird quirky about it that just didn't make sense all the way but um some one of the sweet talkers says 100 yes yes they did not think about storage when they built these rooms um otherwise i thought the hotel was really nice i like the bar downstairs um i like the bar upstairs too but i spent more time the bar downstairs so i like that restaurant i didn't eat their food we didn't eat there but i had drinks there so i guess that was my liquid drink uh liquid food um yeah what i liked about the hotel was that it was within walking distance of a lot of good things right like you said it was vintage shops it was cute little coffee shops right across the street where we i was about to say yeah we stayed there pretty much every day and we actually found this spooky little house that wasn't too far from it where we got a little uh coffee and desserts yeah ginger bread cake yo and it had like a mannequin in the bathroom that was sitting in a uh a kayak or some shit that shit was scary kind of quirky looking like it was definitely like a house restaurant that should have be in a scary movie somewhere yeah yeah We survived, though.
But no, it was cool. So you see a lot of cool stuff like that walking around. Let's see. Yeah, you mentioned the food trucks. Now, the hotel, another cool thing that Kate did a really, really good job of was the security.
The security people that were there took that shit so serious so when you got there when you check in with kate you get a wristband that has your you know your your colors and podcast or um you know fantasy portland on it right and you could not enter any party space if you did not have your wristband if they could not see your wristband like if you had a long sleeve shirt on you had to pull your shit up so they could see it you couldn't get on the bus without it you couldn't get in the club without it you needed to make sure that you had and they took it serious and they were respectful you know you know nobody got like bounced around they just made sure to ask and check and say thank and they said thank you when they saw it so i really appreciate that how'd that make you feel yeah i think that the security was on point yeah like yeah that even if they saw you coming down from the elevator and you tried to go yeah to like the restaurant or somewhere like that they'll ask like where's your arm being at every day even though they know your face like we've seen um the security folks um more than once and they knew who we were and we knew who they were.
But, you know, they they ask, you know, so I appreciate that. I did. It made me feel safer. It made me feel like, you know, my wife is in good hands. You know what I'm saying? That kind of thing. Because at the hotel, we pretty much had all of the floors of the hotel that was it was booked for our event.
So they made sure that nobody like went up and down the elevators that wasn't supposed to be there um it pretty much was just us in the building besides like the restaurant area downstairs and as far as like the setup and the playrooms um just one more note on security when it comes to the playrooms they actually kate hired uh one of the security guards from the local swinger swinger club to come and be security at our playrooms how cool is that yeah that was really nice he helped like making sure the rooms were clean yeah and all of that too so it was it was really cool to have that it was it was nice he was a really nice guy he's really helpful um and uh yeah no it was cool that k cool that Kate, you know, helped him out, too.
Helped him get a little side hustle happening. You know what I mean? Kept the man working. But you want your playrooms to be clean. Hell, yeah. So talk about the playrooms. So the playrooms were nice. They had two playrooms. It was on a different floor from our room.
It was on, like, the fifth floor okay they had two playrooms um that were basically hotel rooms right that they turned into playrooms and then they had the massage tables which would would have been like outdoors but they had it all kind of like closed off on the outside so you couldn't see in but um and they had like a few massage tables out there and i feel like that that would have been a vibe. It would have. However, it was cold in Portland. Right. Yeah, I mean, you hit the nail on the head. So it was basically two hotel rooms on the fifth floor that were dedicated as playrooms.
They were dimly lit, red lights, you know, little flickering candle light kind of things. I think it was some toys in there.
maybe one of those bed strap-on things I'm not sure I can't remember but like you said it was like on that same floor and that same side of the floor you could walk out until like a little terrace yes and that little terrace it was it was pretty significant it wasn't very it wasn't small and it had a few massage tables and oils and towels and that's where the security guard was mostly out there and they had it all like blocked off like the the balcony portion so you couldn't see in or out um as far as spectators are concerned but the thing was it was still chilly yeah and what i'd say about the playrooms is since it was you know that cold element outside it forced everyone back inside and all these people to go to these two playrooms got very crowded it got crowded yeah it got crowded i think there were massage tables in there too yeah they were they moved them yeah they moved them into the room because it was cold right right so i mean people got busy they did they figured it out there was action happening but only for the bold right because there was no room for like spectators or you know even just kind of squeezing your little butt on a corner and just getting a little hump happening yeah you you had to be really dedicated to the mission to get in there and um and get that work so i mean that's not a complaint that's just uh what it was you know what i mean um so it's cool it was cool it was cool and i know people enjoyed it and probably had different experiences so yeah uh we didn't have an opportunity to go and play in there again because you know it that's the crowded nature it's just not our taste yeah i mean we've seen a lot of asses in one spot and uh where was that babe that was nice to st francis nice to st francis we didn't talk about that yeah we'll get to that one that was a lot of asses a lot of them another thing about the hotel which was kind of unfortunate and i didn't even realize it until kate mentioned it on like our last day there was no pool yeah there was no pool and you you think about the element you think about what an element like a pool I'm going to go to the next one.
was no pool there was no pool and you you think about the element you think about what an element like a pool provides to a group like this it's a common area where we can all meet up and talk and chill during the day and like flirt and kind of make um make connections if you're into that for that night or for, you know, a couple of days from now. Right. You start planting those seeds in that common area. You can get a little flirty or whatever. You know, you can get a little touchy. You know, you can have your drinks, but it's a no pressure environment where everyone kind of congregates.
And I think that what this one was missing i didn't again i didn't realize it until she said it because there was so much activity um we were busy right like during the day yeah we were busy there was always a place for us to be together um like in the main hall or in the lobby or in the lobby there was always something to to provide that um that common feel but it just wasn't the same it just wasn't the same as a pool what do you think i agree yeah you hit you hit it on the nail i think i agree with that yeah yeah and it was cold outside and it was of course yes yeah so you don't definitely want you don't want to be in the pool anyway it was cool and and but i think that was the only thing that i would say was really missing again i didn't even notice it but um it doesn't take away the fact that you got to meet people but you we got to see them just in passing a lot yeah we got to see people in passing we got to sit down with oh man bless their hearts it was so good to see them again um pen and page of swinger diaries um and we got to sit down and have coffee with them which was fantastic it was it was such a good conversation man we we got to chat with them in pcap dallas but that was in a club loud and you know and i got all emotional and shit but it was so good to like sit down i did i was fanboy all day but it was so good to like sit down and pick their brains about life and experiences and all that stuff and it was really really cool um but then you know again we start pat we pass everybody all the time yeah it was a lot of passing through yeah um past not to say that can't happen at a pool no it can happen at a pool but if this was a lot of just like pass through people trying to go to the seminars and then you're trying to make dates to like go right to dinners but then you're trying to go into the lobby so it's kind of like a lot of just passing because nobody was really chilling in like one spot.
Yeah. Yeah. Where you could do a, hey, this is my friend. And we have that, you know, that, you know, nice to meet you. And here's my friend over here and make these big connections. Yeah. I think that was the one thing. I think you just need a pool. I think you just need a pool. That one little watering hole. Where all the water buffalo go.
Get right just your pool little kitty pool put your little feet in yep all right all right but no that that was the one thing but all in all i like the hotel it was nice yeah no major complaints uh and we'll get to our setup of our room uh shortly so let's talk about the seminars, honey. Again, so a major, major piece of a PCAP event or a Libertine event, or this one in particular, Fantasy Portland, was the education piece. Yes. I got nothing else to call it, but the education piece, which was awesome. Yeah. Like this, this lineup of seminars and conversations was pretty spectacular. It was.
It was hard. Now, I'm going to be honest. It was hard. When Kate sent out the information to us, we was all in Jamaica. She sent us, oh, hey, guys. By the way. By the way, you need to start what your what your actual seminar is going to be about. And it has to be around the theme fantasy. I'm like, what? That made it interesting, though, that that gave us a narrow focus on what we needed to talk about. And the only my only concern was I hope nobody takes our topic. Well, I didn't even have a topic at first.
So what happened when she first said it was fantasy, I'm thinking about how, because every time we do a seminar, here's what happens. I like to think about how do we make that particular thing about us? How do we make that an entailed about us right so in order to do fantasy i'm like okay how does that relate to us or anything that we have done or any of our thoughts and kind of that whole thing so it was kind of hard at first yeah trying to figure it out it was and then of course that shower moment happens i got an idea so yeah they say uh your best ideas Thank you.
shower moment happens i got an idea so yeah they say uh your your best ideas happen like in the shower or when you're about to go to sleep because you're not really focused on anything else yeah yep uh do you want to go on about what the idea was oh sure so what we uh ended up doing our seminar on was it was called the um how do you find your fantasy and initially yes that title sounds like very like that right um how do you find your fantasy but it was layers to that i like that title do you want to go into the other stuff first you want me to talk about ours i mean you just gave the idea where the idea you were you were talking about OK.
OK. Well, then let's start from like some of our favorite seminars that we went to. One of them, of course, mine was the shibari, which is the the art of tying ropes, rope bondage. It was awesome. Like the lady that she had mix mix.
I can't remember her name damn it but uh she was a wonderful little woman who was so powerful and uh like she just she was all about safety and care um and her partner she we got to see there it is mix mix bliss mix bliss there we go thank you sweet talkers sweet talkers helping out that's what i'm talking about um was that the cat somebody let the cat downstairs god damn it it's okay you gotta hear if it ain't the kid it's the cat welcome to the live show ladies and gentlemen we got fucking animals running around children never know who know who the fuck going to pop up in the suite.
God damn. Go ahead. Can't trust these people. She's fine. All right, here we go. All right, Mix Bliss. She was awesome. Her partner, one of the nights where we were exhausted when we got there, they did a demonstration in, like, the main hall where she suspended her partner.
I i mean i got to see just the beginning of it and it was just powerful man um but then when we got to her um her seminar uh she was very uh careful to talk about you know uh safety measures and carrying your shears and even having conversations with the person that you want to tie and i think one of the best questions that she asked was when or posed was when um you are about to be in a session you ask the person why do you want to be tied up right now you know and that would leave room for you to find out hey you, I'm just curious about this or I think it's pretty or Tris would say something like, you know, I want to feel small.
I want to feel big. I want to feel, you know, comfort.

And what the idea is, is you get with your partner. And you block off a three hour time period to just be with each other no excuses no timeouts no breaks and you can't reschedule you cannot reschedule I mean no you can't emergency yeah right right sure right the idea is behind intentionality you know being with your partner, having the intentions to and it ties to fantasies because you get to explore those fantasies together in that time.

So, yeah. So, we got to Club Provada. All right. Let me just say my expectations for Club Provada were probably way too high. We heard such good things about this club. Again, my expectations, me, I had them very, very high. So, when we got there, I was expecting to see, like, chandelier and, you know, all this elegance and whatever.
My expectations were too high because i was a little let down it's not a bad club it's not a bad club i just had my hopes sky high and that's not fair to club privada and its awesome owner we got to meet the owner and again the security guy dope people very hospitable very nice people everybody was class a all the way man the ladies at the front the guy the bartender all class a people it was a nice setup but my expectations were way too high but it was really cool it was cool little setup um they had a nice little dance floor in the front with a big cage up there and the bar was on your left every drink that you can imagine one question that um someone posed to us now was okay so we got drinks for did we get drinks for free we had to pay for drinks you gotta pay for drinks there but we got entry because we were with this group now we were wondering is it always you got to pay for drinks or is it um like included in your membership or how does that work because most of the lifestyle clubs are byob yes and all the club provides is like uh mixers so we were just wondering like that you know because that's like an additional cost if you go there all the time you know um because that's one of the things about lifestyle clubs that i like is that you don't have to pay for drinks you know you just pay to get in and you drink your whatever you bought with you yeah so i think that was just an uh another cost that people were kind of considering irrelevant to this story irrelevant to you know this event just something for us to think about um that we were kind of curious about but what did you think of the club overall i thought it was a nice club i i think it's a nice club and it's not it is a nice club it's not that i think it is a nice club um but if you have been to other lifestyle clubs you would be like it's it's a it's a it's in it's in there it's like it's in that mid-range right in the mid-range right right it's not it's not in a in a you know it's in the crappy it's literally in the mid-range right it's totally serviceable it does the job it's three levels and they had the top level cut off because um there were so few of us we had the club to ourselves which was awesome we had the club to ourselves but he again he closed off the third level and we talked to the owner about it and he said that because if he was to open it there would be no one on the bottom floor or the second floor you think that everybody was just going to kind of float all the way up to the top and the club was just going to look empty so he made a strategic decision to keep that third level closed to kind of balance it out and i thought that was smart yeah and i like the fact that he was honest about it and it was cool they had um playrooms upstairs on the second level um where anything kind of goes and i think there was like a bar a former bar area turned into like a sitting area which i think this was somebody told us yeah it looked a little out of place to be honest um but it didn't stop people they were kind of getting it in but it did look a little out of place to me um i didn't know where to be i didn't know where to post up i i felt like it was awkward to kind of post up at that bar and look behind me and just kind of see like this little sitting area where people didn't know what to do the blowjobs and things don't mind I don't mind that but it just seemed like it was just a little awkward I think that little that actual bar kind of separating it yeah made it a little off to me almost like looking into like a um like a little seating spots yeah and it was people back there um having a good little time and they served food not in the orgy room but yes they did serve you kind of just dropped that bomb when i was talking about the orgy room i had to clarify sorry not in the orgy room they served food though at the club i didn't eat anything but that was something different as well that they actually served food because the only place that i know of that serves food is trapeze right yeah no you're right Um he made sure to let us know that too like he i think he knew that this was an opportunity to share and talk about his club and i would definitely go back i would definitely go back and i would recommend that people go and check it out go check it out and you know i'm sure that place gets packed on like a friday saturday night i'm not sure what nights they're open, but I bet it gets packed.
And I would love to see that third floor. Yeah, I wanted to see it. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah, I would give it a I would definitely give it another shot. I've heard such great things about it. And I got to see it just in a short time because we were exhausted, too. We didn't even stay very long. No, everybody left at midnight.
And I think people were actually expecting us to expecting to see us misbehave in that thing but we just we were wiped we did share a nice little sexy moment uh kissing some some uh some of our little hot friends but that was the extent of our naughtiness that night yeah yeah we were done we did have some wonderful sex back in our room though where i pulled out the flogger and i was behind you and i was like popping your ass and took the rope i was just grabbing whatever the fuck was close to me without getting out of you without getting outside of you and i would grab like the ropes and just kind of drop them on your back and like roll it down you and up and back and then pop pop yeah no that was that was a lot of fun uh and then i think that was it right yeah uh the club and um it was time to go home and then it was time to go home man it was time to go home get ready for miami yeah we made some really good connections that um i i intend on you know following up on and uh seeing how people are doing we know a lot of people are going to meet us down in miami which miami's about to be super excited about miami's gonna have a pool miami's gonna have a pool and we're gonna it's gonna be ridiculous and miami got all over beach you know what i'm saying we got new beaches that we can go and congregate at so i'm here for all that shit um but yeah man so thank y'all for hanging in there with us this was it was good to experience this trip it was good to see the pacific northwest i would love to see more of it um we were there for such a short time and we were so busy with uh pcap stuff that we didn't really get to explore as much as i would like to so um yeah i would like to go back and maybe experience it on our own and see how it goes and try out that third floor yep someone says see you guys there yeah yeah we'll see you there but again ladies and gentlemen thank you so much for joining us in this episode uh thanks to all the sweet talkers who hung in there with us thanks for your comments your feedback you know we love hearing from y'all uh please keep it up man if you got some time we always appreciate a nice little rating and review um oh no someone says yes he did no electric play this time yes there was a little electric play yes he did uh just in our our room with a bunch of uh people coming in and out from the the bar the room crawl but uh yeah that definitely a good time.
