Tuesday Talks, just send your questions to Dan and they say. Tuesday Talks, Swing Nation got you feeling sexy. Tuesday Talks. Talking Tuesday with Dan and they say. Ooh, how about that high note? Perfect. Hey there, pineapple people, and welcome to the Swing Nation podcast. We are your hosts, Northern Guy. And Southern Girl. And we are back with another rendition of Tuesday Talks. I didn't do the first part this time. I threw you all. Yeah, you didn't. All right. Are you ready to go to the phone line and hear this week's question? Yes. You don't know what it is. You have no idea. All right. You're going in blind. You ready? Hi, Dan and Lacey. First of all, I love your show. We are a lifestyle couple in Northern California and have been active for a number of years. Recently, I had a milestone birthday. I turn 60. My wife is currently 58. Neither of us look nor act our age. I still work full-time and play music part-time. My question is, do you think in your experience that we have reached our shelf life for lifestyle participation? For the record, my wife is beautiful and turns heads wherever she goes. We're the classic 9-to-5 couple. She's a 9 and I'm a 5. Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, and I appreciate what you guys do for the community. Thank you. And he's funny too. He's funny. Yeah. He seems a little charming. Yeah. All right. So he just turned 60. Yeah. His wife is 58. They've been in the lifestyle for a while. And he's wondering if they've hit their shelf life. I don't think so. I think we evolve through the lifestyle. We get asked this question a lot. And maybe not in this way. I think we get asked a lot. When are you guys going to hang it up? Yeah. When are you guys going to stop? Do you ever see yourself not being in the lifestyle? Like, for the record, we're 41. And I don't feel old. I don't feel young. I feel like in the middle. You know, I do definitely feel like we're kind of in between. Right. Yeah. I think we are pretty middle-aged as far as lifestyle people go. Well, especially, I think for the longest time, I felt like we were young. I did too, yeah. And I think in the last year or two, I think there's so many 20-something-year-olds now, I think, and 30. I think the lifestyle's coming much more popular with those generations. So I feel like because of that and maybe going over that 40 mark, I don't know, but it just feels like there's definitely we're not the younger crowd anymore. I feel. Yeah, it's two parts. I think it's we've been doing this for almost 10 years. And so there's that part. And then I think there's the I do think more and more young people are starting to do this. Yeah. You know, I can think of some of the first times I went to swinger clubs. There was almost nobody under the age of 40. Yeah. And really probably most of the people were like 50 plus. Yeah. Nowadays, at least at the events we attend, that's not the case anymore. Yeah. You know, you're seeing, you know, 30s to 50, you know, and probably the median is 40s, you know, and that's pretty normal for a lot of the parties we go to. So I think that age demographic is driving down. But the other thing I will say is we see people of all ages. Yeah. And I will say a good example of this is Bliss Crews because, for me anyway, Bliss Crews at night, You can choose what your adventure is, right? You can go to the EDM party and dance until you have blisters on your feet and you're sweating. Or you could go to a wine bar and have wine or a piano bar. There's so many different options. So if you're past your EDM dancing until the sun comes up age, there are other things that you can do. And I kind of see that as how we will progress through our journey. Like, you know, where it's like maybe like a live band and we're dancing a little and then maybe going to a bar and having drinks and, you know, where it's a little bit quieter. And I actually kind of look forward to those days. Lacey's like, I'm ready now. Well, it's exhausting. No, I mean, like, I love the dancing and having fun. I just think that that's going to be, it's going to be different. It's going to change. And I look forward to it evolving into something different. Right. Right. And even maybe, you know, because you're right. I think places like Bliss Cruise, I think places like Hedo, I think Naughty in New Orleans, these are very much events that are kind of choose your own adventure. And you don't have to necessarily, you know, it's not just a club night. Yeah. But, you know, there's also a lot of most places across the country, really, unless you go to one of these events, your option is to go to the Swingers Club. And then it kind of is a club night. Yeah. But I still think even if you go to the Swingers Club, you can still sit at a table in the back of the club. and not be up in front of the DJ booth raving all night. You know what I mean? Yeah, and I think for us, personally, right now, we're pretty sexually active. Not as much as we were. We're probably in our 20s. But that's evolving. And we have sex based on that. And I think as we age, it'll probably be the same thing. We probably will swing less, maybe have a little less sex. Hell, I don't know. We might swing more. But I kind of look at it as I never want to be out of the lifestyle. because I think the lifestyle is amazing freaking people. And the lifestyle is what you make it to be. If that means having sex in group orgies every single night of the week, then live your life. If that means going on a lifestyle vacation one week a year and maybe having sex a couple times with a different couple, then let it be that. I still think you're in the lifestyle. I just think that it's going to change. It's going to have its ups and downs just like how life does. Okay. Right. And I think the other point I want to make is I don't think age has anything to do with that. Because we've seen 60s, 70-year-olds that are out there in the middle of the dance floor dancing and raving, outpacing us. And we've had on the flip side, we've had people that are our age that would never go and dance. And that's just not their style. That are in their 30s and they're like, I don't want it. That club is too loud. Yeah. So I think that just depends on the couple and how you're feeling and whatever. you make of it is totally fine. Right. So I think it's it's 100 percent on you. If you are 58 and 60 and you are having a fun and you love going to these events and you love dancing, you love raving, even if it's with mostly, you know, 30 and 40 year olds, then come do it. To me, I don't care about your one actually like 60 year olds. I'm trying to find more of them. If you know some, please email us or, you know, hit us up on S.D.C. S.L.S. or Cassidy, Swingers Study.net, one of those. First of all. Secondly, it's all about that. It's what you want to do. It's the energy. Yeah. Now, I do think if you are feeling older and you're like, man, I just can't, you know, I can't do that. I can't rave all night till two o'clock in the morning anymore. Well, there are events that are tailored to other people, like you're saying. You know, you can go to Hedo and hang out in the piano bar instead of hanging out in the club. There's also, you know, there's weeks, you know, you can go to Hedo during that. What is it? Sexy silver week or something like that. There's events that are tailored to people that are a little bit older. I see all these lifestyle vacations and stuff. So I can imagine being retired and like, you know, going on some of these curated cruises and stuff where it's not necessarily, you know, it's more of a vacation with swingers than it really is a rave party, you know, all the time. So I think you're right. I think as we age, whatever it is that we enjoy doing, you just tailor your lifestyle to do the things that you enjoy doing. And whether that's raving and partying, or whether that's a little more peaceful, relaxing type stuff. I think it depends on you. Not really the age that you are. My goal is to be... We've seen like 80-something-year-olds at Hedo, at the Bliss Cruise, stuff like that. And I don't know how much wild sex they're having, but they're there and they're having a blast. And I hope that's us one day. That's my goal is to get there. Because I would much rather be on a cruise in the middle of the ocean with a bunch of swingers than on a cruise with a bunch of kids or something like that. You know, I just like the sexy environment. So I hope that's us. And if this couple wants to be that couple too, I hope that's them. Yeah. That's been on my mind. Not to get too off track, but your parents moved in with us. And seeing their end-of-life health issues and going through that, I think it's made us look at our health a little bit more and really think about protecting our health for longevity. you know like we're 40 but i want to still be partying when i'm 60 when i'm 70 when i'm 80 so i think that it's a little bit of a wake-up call to be like well maybe we do need to start going on walks and eating a little healthier and taking care of our you know liver and kidneys and and heart and things like that so that we can um party longer so to speak um but i i agree with you you know when people always say when are you going to stop the lifestyle i always think about that one couple at Hedo. Yeah. And if you don't know, there was this couple at Hedo and they were well into their 80s, probably pushing 90, probably, you know, mid to late 80s. And he hand-made all her outfits or something like that. Yeah, I think he used to be a doctor or something. Yeah. A surgeon or something they were telling us. I don't know if this is true, but this is what they were telling us. And they said he hand-made all her outfits. And she had these, like, nice leather outfits with, like, and they were, like, lace and boas. And these hats with these, like, huge foot. I mean, super extravagant. I think they live at Hedo in the summer or the winter. I don't know. They live there for basically a month or so out of the year. And the only reason we, you know, me and Lacey were sitting there eating dinner and they were playing some song and he got up and he grabbed her hand and he took her out. There was like almost nobody on the dance floor and he took her out in the middle of the dance floor and they were smiling and they were laughing and they were dancing. And me and Lacey just looked at each other and were like, I hope that is us. You know what I mean? I hope that's us. And I think, you know, At the end of the day, the lifestyle, the sex is great, the community is fun, being kinky and dirty, all that is wonderful stuff. But they always say the motto of the lifestyle is always live your best life. And I think that's what I want to do. I want to live my best life. You want to make me outfits and twirl me a guy on the dance floor? No, probably not that. You'll probably buy yours from somebody else. Okay, well, as long as I get them, that's all that matters. But I hope when you're 80 that you're still dressing and feeling sexy and yeah I hope we're still out on the dance floor dancing and you know I don't know they it seemed to me like that couple still had a spark in them and seeing a couple in their 80s that still has this sexual energy and this love and this spark between them I mean that's it's hard to look at that and not be in awe in some ways you know When you think to the comparative, sometimes I think of couples that have been married for 30, 40 years and they basically hate each other. I don't want to be that couple. I don't want to be the couple that can't stand each other and feels like a roommate with a person that I live with and is just annoyed by them. I want to be the person that wants to bring them on a dance floor and dance with them and then take them on the beach and make love to them. That's the couple I want to be. I see the lifestyle as a path to that. And it kind of keeping that spark alive with you for I don't know how long. You know. That's sweet. I like that. You like that? Yeah. It's really sweet. Okay. So to sum it up, there's no expiration date on the lifestyle. We don't think so. Right. This is your journey. Yeah. You decide what you want it to look like, where you want to go, what you want to do. If you're in your 60s and you want to still go and come out and come to parties and EDM and fans and rave. Love to have you. If your wife is pushing 60 and she's hot, have her message me. I'm down. I'm into it. Or over 60. Or over 60. That was on my bucket list. Hey, at the last Bliss Cruise on my bucket list, it was to find me a silver fox. I didn't do it. So we very much appreciate the older generation. Yeah. We're getting off subject. But to me, the reason I find somebody that's of that age sexy is because they don't give a fucking anymore, right? And they have the, like, they'll do all the things. They know how to touch you, how to please you. And there's no, they're not shy anymore, right? All that, like, oh my goodness, this is okay. Like, they're, they're like, no, give me that dick. I want it inside of me now. You know what I mean? And it's like, okay, let's do this. You know what I mean? Like, so to me, that's sexy, that, like, that experience. And I don't know, there's something about an older lady that, like, takes care of herself. You know, those older ladies that, like, do their, are still doing their hair and their makeup. And it's just, that's a, it's That's sexy to me. Yeah. Okay. But we hope that answers your question. Yeah. There is no expiration date. That's the answer. Yeah. And just live your lifestyle however you want to. Yeah. Between you and your partner. All right. I think that answers that question. Anything else for the Swing Nation listeners? That's it. All right. If you have a Tuesday talk question, you need to call us. Yeah. Like, what are you doing right now? You know, put your phone down. Stop scrolling TikTok. Pick up your phone and dial this number. 972-302-7716. One more time. 972-302-7716. All right. Call us. Leave us a voicemail. If you're not comfortable with having your voice on the podcast, you can always text us. If you don't want to text us because you don't want us to even see your phone number, you can make up a fake email, go on Google, make some bullshit email, and then you can email us at dswingnation at gmail.com, dswingnation at gmail.com. I did see that somebody had text. They were in Naughty in New Orleans and they were like, okay, we're here now. What do we do? Just so you know, we do not monitor this phone. Right. It's not our personal cell phone. No, this is not. This is a business phone and we basically only take it out when we're about to podcast. Yeah. So it sits in the office or it sits in one of my book bags and then when we need to podcast, we pull it out. We pick a question, you know, we use it for that and then it gets stuffed back in a bag or left at the office. Yeah. So if you need, like, obviously in that In that case, we did not see that until days later. So if you have like an immediate question, that's not the place for that. Just FYI. Yeah, message us on Discord if you have an immediate question, especially if it's about an event. We have event groups on our Discord server where we can answer those questions. If you need, you know, if it's something about like tickets or something specifically about an event, email us at admin at swingersociety, admin at swingersociety.net. Especially like an event because we have a hard time Keeping up with everything because we're running around like crazy. And usually we have someone that's monitoring that. So our operations manager, Mandy, is way better at answering emails than me. And she monitors. I monitor it as well. But that admin at Swinner Society email, she will get back to you way quicker than I will. I promise you. Yeah. Okay. Yep. Is that it? That's it. All right, guys. I think with that, in a world full of apples. Be the pineapple. Be the pineapple, guys. Bye. Bye.
