Speaker1: Okay, we had to start with mine.
Speaker3: Bitch.
Speaker1: We sold some of them. We sold some of them.
Speaker2: Even Kohl's.
Speaker1: I even signed one. My doctor's wife bought one of Kohl's. Her birthday is one where I'm holding the big can of cream corn in front of my junk. It wasn't cream corn. It was beans. Oh, beans, actually. They were magical. Anyways, and a special shout-out. Let's give it. You need to give a shout-out. Hey, Carnell. Car the is the new owner of the miss amanda uh retractable so that's that'll be in the mail tomorrow to you my fine friend so there you go uh with that being said we've had a whirlwind of a couple weeks that was me doing a whirlwind thank you you know we got back and jack i unloaded Jack. I unloaded the car. We unloaded the car. Whatever. I was going to say, I get back and did shit. God, fuck. I had energy yesterday. I was doing all kinds of stuff. Reeboks and everything. Today, I can't stay awake for nothing. I had zero energy, but still get my way through it like a boss. She gave me water, and, yeah, I'm still tired. But this is the after-fucking-KWN show. Show-ho. Boop, bloop, bloop. Anyway, so we had a blast. That's all we got for you. Have a great night. You're going to have to do some talking tonight. Cole caught something. We don't he caught something Now that we think about it We think it was more airborne It drifted into my throat No more allergens and stuff In the hotel that caused his nose to go apeshit It did It's speaking tongues and they all suck Anywho, but we are super jazz. We had a great time. So we're in Kansas City, 2025. Now, remember, here's the really cool part. We've waited a lot of years to go to KC. A lot of years. We've wanted to do it. We went. We saw. We kicked ass. and we had a fucking blast and you know what kc we saw kc we rocked it we loved it and we are going back again next year it was a fucking absolute blast uh what's your favorite part of kwen this year i was running around a lot um oh. That's totally different than the other year. Right. You don't have a favorite part? It's probably just dancing because I love to dance. What is supposed to be my favorite part? I never made it to the pool or anything. I didn't make it to any seminars. What? I'm so sorry. You had to go. It was kind of a bad experience for her. Hopefully next year it'll be better for her. You even got to play pool on our pool table. I didn't even get to do that. You rolled around on our fucking pool table. I don't want to hear your shit. I got some good pictures. There'll be pictures of her on our calendar next year from the pool table wearing nothing but leaving Snail Trail on the pool table. I didn't do any naked pictures. You didn't do any naked pictures on the pool table. And that's a shame. So the most fun you had after all these years of going to KWN was you got to dance. Well, that's the highlight for me. I like to dance. What was the highlight for you? All the girls that you were kissing? I didn't kiss that many. Drinking Friday night and getting hammered? I didn't get hammered. Look, okay, the rumor was I was drunk Friday night. I was not. I was not drunk Friday night. The entourage that walked us back to the room maintained I was drunk. I was not drunk. My cowboy boots shut your mouth. You almost passed out on the couch. My cowboy boots were wasted because they couldn't get off my feet without help just saying uh no there's lots of parts i always doing the announcements is always fun for me i love doing the i don't love doing the announcements but but i had uh i had a ton i had a ton of fun which oh you know we should give some shout outs shout-outs real quick. Okay, what's your shout-out? Well, so let's start. We did a Lifetime Achievement Award, which went to Michael Ramos with A&M Magazine. And we did our Caswell Lifestyle of the Year Award. Which went to Larry. Went to Larry, that's right. Good job seeing you. You acted like I didn't know who it was going to. And then we did our I was leaving the suspense. The Ernest Britt award that went to? Ken. Ken. And so we did our awards, which is always a good, it's always fun doing our awards. We love doing that shit. It's actually a great time. That whole thing. I think standing there before it started in Kansas City in the Saturday night thing, I mean, obviously the weekend's in full fucking regalia by then. But for me personally, that's like a moment that's like this moment of, you know, I don't know, it's just something special for me. Okay. Let me reiterate how this show needs to go. You need to do some talking this time. No, I'm reading. So I don't have to just have to do it. I'm reading because Shelly goes, I hate when only part of me gets drunk. Look, I was pissed off too. My cowboy boots should know better. It was funny because he was sitting on the couch and I go, Amanda, you want us to get him to the bed? And I said, fuck no. If he passes out on the couch as his own problem, he'll eventually get up and come to bed. And you hobbled your way to bed, and I took your shoes off. Because my cowboy boots were drunk. Yes, Jessica. Being able to see the cover of ASN on the big monitors was badass. That was bad. That that was bad i look funny actually look no you do not look funny on the cover what what was cool about casey it was we had two hotels we had all kinds of new challenges but kwn is like this whole year of buildup, right? And so as you see people, when you start watching Check-In on Thursday, because people start checking in a day early, the fucking hyped up, there's no way you can't get jacked up because people are like fucking giddy and excited. And usually we hang out everybody thursday night in the lobby and the bar area and stuff but we were so busy doing stuff we never made it down which wasn't all bad because we needed all the energy we could get for the weekend yeah we did i mean we really did and here was okay so i'm gonna tell you the funniest thing that happened at kwn for for me. Okay. Okay, so it was Saturday, like, mid-morning, right? I was going back up to her room to get something. I don't know what the fuck I was going up to get. It doesn't really matter. That part doesn't matter. Okay. But I was in the elevator. I was in the elevator, and there were two girls in the elevator. You know, girls, women, 30-somethings, whatever. And they're talking. And we get on the on the elevator and they're talking and the one turns to the other one and goes do you think that cole and miss amanda are actually real people and i'm standing right there and the other guy goes well they are i've heard they are i think i saw them last night but i i didn't want to go up and talk to you know i, I wanted to meet him, but I didn't want to go up and talk to Cole because he had a crowd of people around him all night. And so, and then they're, they're talking. So they, I was on the fourth floor, they're on the third floor. And so the third floor door opens and I catch the door and I go, hey, are you guys having a good time? They're like, oh, we're having a great time you know that's awesome i move my hand as the door started going because oh by the way nice to meet you i'm cold that was that was there was something that was like oh hey i was like that was the like surreal for me was to get to you know because there are people there that now it's not about us i mean it's about kw it's about crazy one about Crazy One on its own. Are they real people? And that was fucking... I'm just like, that's so fucking just like, holy shit, seriously? And that was fucking... That was fucking cool. That was like, wow, that's really neat. And I tried to stay high in my room and know what it would love me. And I'm not one to strike up a lot of conversations just with random people in an elevator but i had my own and it was more asking if they were going to go to dinner and they said they hesitantly were looking at me like uh yeah i'm like awesome and they're talking about food and stuff like that we get off on the first floor and i'm i'm like well i said i'm not from here so i don't know places to eat and they go we aren't either i said oh where are you from one goes boston i'm like wow the other one goes canada and i'm like oh wow i said hey i'm miss a man yeah i think nice to meet you uh actually uh i think i am what yeah i am wearing a shirt to do man for recording uh so uh yeah so it's just it's bizarre because there was a ton of people so there's a ton of people we didn't know right obviously but there was a ton of people we didn't know and that was really cool too because that means new people are coming in and it's like that's that's fucking awesome. That was so much fun. I think people had fun. We had so many seminars, and we had, oh, my God, we had a ton of seminars, a ton of vendors, tons of everything. Our drawing was great. Because the vendors, like, all the vendors gave stuff. So that was super cool. It's always fun to give shit away. It's people, you know, they're going back and forth and going to the dungeon and back. And it's just like, you know, thank you, Jason. I can see how someone may miss Amanda in a crowd, but not you, Cole. Are you trying to say that I'm loud? Apparently, I did get told. You kind of stand out. Well, I did get told that I seemed to be in rare form Friday night. How were you in rare form? Apparently, my throat fucking was at an extraordinary level. That's normal for you. No, not really. Not anymore. Drinking cold, yes. No, I was just very, very fucking friendly. I was very friendly. I met a lot of people I hadn't met before, and a lot of the young ladies were very, very friendly. Well, one girl we know every time y'all see each other, her husband and I just sit there and watch them and just kind of. Okay, so I'll say her name. So Meredith and I have a thing. Last year on Saturday night, we both got really, really. Oh, my God. At the end of the night, we were really, really drunk, and they played Dirty Dancing. They cleared the dance floor at the end. And Meredith stood on one side, and Cole stood on the other other side and Mike and I looked at each other going, this does not look good. And we did the nod and the whole thing and she ran and jumped and how nobody died. I don't know. She didn't like try to do the dirty dancing pose. She just wrapped herself around you. I didn't drop her. She didn't fall. I didn't fall. But y'all were hammered. Yeah, but anytime we see each other, it does seem to tend to be that we end up... Anytime you see each other and even chaos in, it starts off with tongues down each other's throats. We're just friends. But it's y'all's thing. We don't care. It's our signature move. No, I had somebody else tell me that. They're like, I've seen you be popular before, but you were, yeah, I met several folks that way. So anyways, uh, it was all consensual. It was just, there was greetings and, and one was kind of a unique situation because there was a gal that I knew and so things were happening, whatever, who knew? And another gal goes goes how do i get in line for that which of course i'm like well just step step right up and uh which which she did and so we did and and um her friend's like well what about me and i'm like well absolutely so yeah hard to believe I have a cold today. I'm my own super spreader. Just saying. Anyways, so it's just uh but no it was a good time beautiful dresses again got it so i think uh i love seeing everybody all dressed up march 10th is when they're gonna have all the professional pictures done and those are it's you want to know the coolest thing for me is watching everybody's profile pictures change to their formal picture from KWN. That's always really cool to me. And this year, so besides just formal pictures, they were also doing candid shots, which is going to be really neat. That's going to be fucking cool to get to see, and we're going to be able to put together a neat video to show. When you've done this many years, it's just fun. It's exciting to see all this stuff, whatever. Least favorite part of KWN. Look, we're realists. Not everything went like, hey, super smooth, swoosh. Least favorite part of KWN for you.
Speaker2: Are we talking before or during?
Speaker3: Which is interesting. Everything went like, hey, super smooth, swoosh. Least favorite part of KWN for you. Are we talking before or during? Let's narrow it to once we get from Thursday checking in to when we're done. If we're talking activities, it's some of the the drama thing that's unexpected but if we're talking about activity wise it's that it goes so fast and you don't have time to just sit and look granted if we we try to make ourselves seen and we try to walk and make sure everybody like all the vendors and all that been people to stop us and talk to us, which we love. One gal stopped me in the vendor fair and said, Oh my God, I love the clothing exchange. I found so many cute things that are my size and I'd never be able to find it. And I found so many things and I took as much as I could. I'm like, good. That's what it's there for. Yeah's that's badass yeah it it okay so one people we love when people stop us to talk to us like a lot of people like oh you're busy we don't want to you know what we love talking to people i i agree it goes it goes so fast because there's so much stuff going on.
Speaker1: And as we keep growing, I mean, let's give a huge shout out right now to Jessica for everything. Jessica is now, Jessica's always realized, this was her third year or fourth year? You told me third. Third year as our day of event coordinator, and she always does more before and after. Jessica is now actually is actually now going to be on staff year round with us. So Jessica is going to be working with us year round for KWN. So because she does a fucking incredible job and if she it's how I'm not having had a heart attack just saying. To put it mildly. and Jessica doesn't tell you to freeze up, but there's still a lot of stuff going on. There's one time we went up to the room, and you go, can we sit here for just a minute? I said, absolutely not. We have to hurry up, and we have to get over to the dungeon, and we have to do this. And it was just like, it was just busy. Yeah, and we love that. The problem we hate is that it does go so fast. Next year, honestly, we're going to have even more staff so that we can talk to people because it does go so quick because there is so much stuff going on and we are trying to get to see as many people and talk to as many people and experience as much of it. It's one thing planned and it's another thing to get to experience what's happening and get to see people enjoy it I can tell you what my least favorite part of KWN is
Speaker2: what was it
Speaker1: it's the same it's been the same every year it's the end leaving it's the end next year I'm saying this right now I've made this decision on the way home from KWN this year I don't know.
Speaker2: I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker1: I don't know.
Speaker3: I don't know. end next year i'm saying this right now i've made this i've made the decision on the way home from kwin this year we are actually going to hire and pay someone or a couple people we're gonna have roadies for us seriously we're absolutely gonna have roadies for us because what happens is, you know, so we have to check out, right?
Speaker1: And people want to talk to us and they want to say goodbye and we want to say goodbye to people. But we also have to pack up our room. Yeah, we're trying to pack the car. And so I made the decision next year we're going to have a crew. There's a group of people that we pay that they are going to. Pack my car. Their job is going to be to tear our walls down and all that the night before have it all together and clear out a room so we can spend when everybody's leaving and people want to say goodbye and we can give hugs and we don't have to tell people hey sorry we got to go get stuff you know because i i i hate that part one because usually i can't hardly move by then, for one. But two, it's like we want to thank everybody. Like, it's, you know, you guys don't. Hugs and thanks for coming. Be safe getting home. I don't think people understand how much we, like, totally. We don't just. We're not just happy that people come like how much it really legitimately means to us we had people at crazy winter nights this year yes Jessica we'll unload your car too we had people at crazy winter nights this year I believe they were from Oklahoma. It was their anniversary. They chose to make their anniversary trip to experience KWN for the first time. We have people that it's their birthday weekend. We have people that have rearranged. There was one couple. They flew in from, I believe, I think it's Pennsylvania, if I remember correctly, that they rearranged their flight schedules and traveling with work to be able to come in to come to their first KWN. And, like, for us, and it doesn't, not just those people, but all the people that have been coming for years and years that have followed us from Omaha and come like it we are humbled and so appreciative of it and the last thing the part that sucks is when people are leaving that then we're pressed for time to be able to get to to say goodbye or maybe someone we didn't get to talk to to talk to for a minute and i hate that part and next year, we're going to eliminate that so that we can actually do that. And the other part is because I really seriously usually cannot hardly fucking move at all. And that's, so, like, if you watched, some people recorded our announcements. My announcements were shitty this year. Yeah, I don't even remember what you said. My announcements were, I was a train wreck. Yes, you were. I was absolutely a train wreck because, seriously, like, you know, getting to see the ASN cover up on the big screen was fucking amazing to me. I mean, that's a huge thing that, you know, it's like, you know, my brother brother, our family knows everything, but he doesn't understand. He's like, why not? What's that like? It's like, well, ASN magazine has 3 million readers. So that's like being a rolling stone in the real world. You know, I mean, that's huge. So to see that's humbling. But to get to Kansas City, like that's everybody believing in us. So when I went to do the announcements, usually I just get choked up on certain spots. I was fucked, even before it started. I'm like, you are not leaving me to do this. Yeah, even before it started, I was like, I was fucked. But it was like you had plans, like, because we had discussed some of the things that you were going to bring up, like, for people that don't know CASBA, what CASBA means. Because I'm like, you know, we should probably explain it, you know, why the middle finger and what it all means. And I don't even think you even mentioned it. I ended up doing it with a lot of individuals, with a lot of vendors, because we had vendors from all over, and I got to spend time. But, yeah, I to okay so the the asm thing that that covers like fucking a big big deal to me and and so we had to make sure it would go on the screens and jessica bless her heart said do you want to see it first and the correct answer was no but yes i did yeah but then you would have turned around because i oh i'd have completely lost because i'm like okay wait till we get up there and he's turned around before you put it up there so he doesn't but she she put it up there and what was cool about so even though we love being around everybody i had like that brief moment it was really like there was more like 10 of us in the ballroom and I got to just sit there and but you were then you were like uh oh you knew right then I was fucked and so I kind of forgot everything else um shows how big your heart is yeah it sure does I was choking right through that motherfucker that was that was uh i was that was training well you know look uh uh we we yes we do have we play a part in in casting the lifestyle of the year obviously our board it's people who are nominated that our board selects and so when you have people like larry that's, you know, very special, that's a huge thing to us. You know, that's a huge deal. Ernie's Award is always a huge deal, you know, and the people that get it are special. We don't give out a lot of Lifetime Achievement Awards. There's a reason for that. You know, so there's a lot of emotion stuff. And then here's the other reality the other reality cool you know kind of was having a mind all moment there because we you throw a little bit of exhaustion on top of it and everything just like hits and it's overwhelming there's you know there's something about when you put when i put that tuxedo on a saturday night getting ready to go down i don't get usually. And I was laughing because we're in the back of the ballroom. And he goes, oh, I want to introduce Cole and Amanda. And I'm like, come on. And you're like, hold on. I was trying to like, yep, try to get my shit together. Well, then I'm like, okay, we'll wait for the song to start. Oops. I forgot we had a song that we walk out to. I don't even know what it was. Rock and roll all night.
Speaker2: See, it wasn't how much I was paying attention.
Speaker1: Wow, that thanks for being special for both of us. Just saying.
Speaker3: Yeah.
Speaker1: And then we always do our dance, so this way, you know, it shows that we're not getting divorced afterwards.
Speaker2: And for those that didn't know, it was our wedding song.
Speaker1: Yeah, we actually chose our wedding songs here. You did. I didn't know it was our wedding yeah we actually put our wedding songs here uh no i didn't know what you were picking i am such a dick asshole what's funny is i try to pick stuff that would be emotional for both of us forgetting that one of us is cold and kind of icy and the other one is a sobbing mess just that is not true i didn't say who's who in that whole thing. Everybody knows if you're talking about you crying. I didn't know. I have one nut. That could just be a nut thing. I'm just going to be a nut thing. I'm just saying. I'm funny. Yeah. So, anyways. So, we pretty much figured it out. No one wants to do more, so we won't do any more KWNs. Right. Yeah. Shit. Yeah. Yeah. So, and the other exciting part is that, yes, we've already started. We already have KWN tickets for next year because we are going to be back in Kansas City. It's going to be February 20th through the 22nd. It's going to be bigger and more badass than this year because we have a better idea what the fuck we're doing. we're doing. Seminars. I don't know. I've yet to get to hear what people's favorite seminars were. I like them all because I worked on helping get them to come and do seminars. I feel really bad because I felt like we were on the run more. We weren't because Jessica's most of the work. But, I mean, it's just like, maybe I was just moving slower because I was gimpy. I say next year, we at least have a room for our crap on the first floor. Is that my room? Am I part of your crap? Sure. And if it fits. Wow. If it fits. This way, when you need to run, get something. It's on the first floor and you're not having to wait for an elevator. Go up to the fourth floor. Go to your room and then come back down. I think we should have scooters. I think we should go. I debated about bringing my roller skates, but I figured I'd get in trouble for that. You would have. I think we should go and borrow from, like, Walmart or a grocery store their scooters and just use those for the weekend. Why are you looking at me like that? Because that's just a... We don't say they're sponsors. I don't think it works that way. Probably. We'd have to have them charge it up a lot. Oh, I some of those, like, the band app. Yes. The app for people. I think that was, yeah, Kate, we're going to use your wagon next year. You know, lots of people. We need, like, a full truck wagon for all of our shit. That's right. That went over pretty good. That was new this year. That was new. And people used the safe table this year Someone other than Cole and I Yeah, somebody actually used the safe table And that was, we were fucking thrilled about that That was fucking cool as hell That somebody actually used it So that's always a good time all the way through Yeah, we need a segue No, you know, if I'm segway i'm gonna get i'm gonna wipe out i know me i mean friday night i probably would have done great but holy fuck just saying here's something else cold's figured out i shouldn't do shots i'm just giant tequila shots um seem to fuck me up don't know for sure you started off saturday night before it started like give me a shot i need a shot yeah cade i'll take a shot yeah we fucking we hammered it through so that was fucking a good time. So, you know, that's one of the cool things, though, that we got to hear people. We know our parties aren't for everybody. We get it, right? It is what it is. Because we don't have playrooms. And some people, that's really what they want. We don't do hallway crawls. And you're not going gonna fuck in the main lobby you know it is what it is but it was really cool hearing people talk saying you had somebody talk about how classy our vet was which is which is just which is just which it's nice to hear it's refreshing it is and people i heard some people talk about how they learn stuff at the seminars uh i had one couple telling me they went some some uh seminar on the on the kink side at the dungeon and uh she learned now how to better flog uh her husband in a way that you know was and whatever, and that was a huge thing for them. I'm sure we went to that one. Not to flog my husband. Well, okay, well, as long as we're just keeping shit. I mean, I'm just, I'm just, I mean, I'm throwing it out there just in case. Yeah, well, no, I mean, you know, you beat me, I'll beat you. Anywho, So that was, you know, that was cool. And they were really excited about that. The other thing I heard another couple in there talking about it was fucking awesome to hear is how safe that he felt for her and how safe she felt. That was a compliment. Blue Lotus. Blue Lotus from Arkansas. Miss Amanda's ready to go down to Blue Lotus to see Joe at Blue Lotus, which is their friend because she's going to fucking. That dude is a tall guy. She's planning to ride him like fucking. What he reminds me of if you don't about him, because he's muscular. He's got a smile. He has this beard. It reminds me of Leon. And he's like 6'8". I don't think he wasn't that tall. You're planning to ride him like a spider monkey. He wasn't that tall. Anyways, they talked about the fact how Blue Lotus, which they're awesome folks. Check them out. And this was fucking an awesome compliment about how they went to other big events. They're from Arkansas area. They went to other big events, and they hate them because, you know, typical how the wife's like me, pretty outgoing, and the husband's kind of more reserved, but how she's like, I'll smile, and I smile at people, and they don't smile back, how clicky it is, and they were just like, how much they loved, how much they fucking loved how people were friendly, how friendly everybody was. Well, but also think about it. If you have a group that just... doing negative things what are you doing what you keep you keep doing a thumbs down and be my guess anyway stop it you're such a fucking thing anyways sorry go ahead but you think about when a party comes into a city that no one's heard of right Right. You have people that come with them, and then you have the people from that local area. So people wouldn't go there if they didn't want to meet new people. Right. Because if you don't want to meet new people, then you just stay with your clique. Right. Or the people that you're comfortable about being around. But see, that's the CAS CASBA family because we're training. We train people the CASBA way is new in Kansas City. And the CASBA family is always friendly anyways. And so that showed through. And, I mean, what a tremendous compliment to all of our people, really. The other thing that happened that absolutely is like just proud dad moment, whatever, proud founder moment, that we had a guy in the group that had like 400 bucks fall out of his pocket cash uh saturday morning in the hallway somewhere and let's face it 400 bucks is a lot of fucking money and you know the general assumption was you know hey well it's probably, it's probably, you know, who knows? Somebody found it and turned it into the front desk. And that spoke so much volumes about the Kazma family. Like, I mean, that's just huge. For me, I was like, okay, that is so fucking awesome. And the person that was the one that had lots of money was like, he's like, you know, talking about faith in humanity being restored. I mean, let's face it. It's not like there was 10 of us that we all knew each other there there's you know 600 plus people that who knows and and somebody found it and took it to the front desk every penny of it and that's just i i i talked to the the host hotel today and i talked to the bdsm hotel yesterday and it was so cool because they both had the same things to say. Oh, my God, you guys were the best group ever. You guys are better than weddings. There were zero problems. Our hotels were super clean. I mean, the compliments, which is a complete, I mean, that's a testament to everybody that's coming to the party and and being fucking respectful of of you know of the event and in turn all the part aspects of it the uh the shuttle company uh you know had a great experience no negative experience for people riding back before the shuttles no i mean god that's so that's it's funny when every hotel is just blown away by how I don't know. experience for people riding back before the shuttles i mean god that's so that's it's funny when every hotel is just blown away by how how chasmo people act you know and and we we're i think we're so fortunate we have a classy group of people and and they like to have fun and chasmo will party the fuck out of them their asses but they're gonna do it in a way do it in a way that's going to be fun and respectful and not dickish. It's no dickish unless we want to have dick in and if they want to get dicked, then that's acceptable. You know, so Casby is a family and I love it and hairstylist needed water and one post. We had so many bottles delivered to her. It was so great. I saw the post saw the post but i didn't know if anybody ever brought in that is fucking that's so cool uh that's the difference between a community and an event this is a great community and very true it is and it's just you know i'm telling you and people step up when something happens and that's, which, you know what? I actually wanted to hit on that. Like any big event, when you have that many people, you can have things. We had a couple of incidences, and it comes to find out that one of the incidents was really just a miscommunication situation. But, you know, when you have multiple people, multiple guys, they see a situation's unfolding, and they lend themselves, they inject themselves into the situation, but not dickishlyishly not like trying to fucking not start shit they take and put themselves in position they're there if we need them but they're quietly there a quiet presence like that is tremendously powerful. And I joked with somebody that, you know, because there was at one point there were a couple things going on in different places, and I had to be two different places. You had a little corral around you, you know, like just there was was, there was a blockade to make sure that a situation just to make sure a situation didn't get out of hand. Nobody was trying to start shit. Nobody was tagging this. It was just letting the presence be known. It was okay. So a couple of years ago, someone was, someone was being escorted out because he didn't understand the word. No. So we don't tolerate it. He was escorted out. You escorted him. I was kind of following along just to watch, but seeing people step out of the crevices and follow behind you just at an even distance, but to keep an eye on you. To make sure it was okay. This time, I turned around, and there's a line of guys just watching the door. And they're just standing there. And it was just like guards. And you're just like, wow. Not making the situation. When there's alcohol involved, there's always a chance, guys, we can be big, dumb animals, that we can make situations worse. But that's not what the Cas casbah family that's not what these guys do they're standing there their presence is felt they're helping not hurting and that's that's huge and and we we thank one guy uh we try to thank everybody we thank one guy and and his line was the greatest he's like i didn't know what was going on But I felt like probably my presence Could be of value You know Look, the incident you were talking about Was one where we had our security cancel on us 15 minutes before the KW And the thing is Is that Going to a new city Omaha is a decent sized city, Kansas City is bigger it's different and having again, it sets a tone it shows other people what we're about and that we don't tolerate we're all about having about having fun but fun is fun and others not and uh yes Courtney you said uh and I reiterate too you said you're really glad when Brian took off with me as as a guy let's put it on this event I'm not a young guy anymore uh and a lot of times a lot of times I forget that just I'll be damned sorry to believe i think i am as a guy i can't tell you how much i appreciate when uh guys like brian like bob like larry like kate i mean the list goes on i mean there's so many i can't everybody. When they see, if they see me moving a certain way, very focused or quick, they don't ask questions. They don't try to take over the situation. They just, all of a sudden, they're right there. Barry, who's our head of security, and we always joke that Barry has always had a sense whenever Cole gets upset, he's there. And that's what all these guys do is they're just there. What's so cool about that is they're not just there. They're there in case shit goes south. Let me just put it out there. There's not a doubt in my mind with any one of the multiple guys that follow right behind when I go in a direction that if shit went south,
Speaker3: well,
Speaker1: no one's just going to be standing there going, ooh, I hope he doesn't get hurt. I mean, I have no doubt. But they're there not only to fucking make sure if something like that happens but they also are very good calming influence on me they understand that maybe i have a different vested level and they're just there and it's it is a huge to appreciate. And, yes, shout out to Barry. Barry's a lot like Jessica. Again, Barry's the guy that's been with us for, I think, there's only one he wasn't able to attend of the KWNs. Oh, my gosh, we've known him since we started. And Barry has always been one who just steps up. And Barry, again this time, it was just, you know, I know you got my back, buddy. Trust me. If one of these days I'm going to tag with somebody too big and I'm just going to run and hide behind your ass, I'm just saying. But Barry's another one That just I can go and go Hey this is going on and he knows me well enough to know or if i'm starting to go somewhere go hey what's going on i don't know how many he didn't do it this time but the previous ones grandma what's going on then i got it and and there's just you You know, and that's all I hear. So, you know, again, it's so funny. We talk about family. We talk about community and we talk about family. And I got to tell you what, every fucking year with Crazy Water Nights is the ultimate example of family. It's not a party. It's not a party it's not just a party it's not an event it's like a family reunion where we have sex that's kind of weird you couldn't say it that way anyways but it but it it it is that it's that sort of feel and i'm going to be perfectly honest this year i'll fucking call it out there we had people that tried to fuck the family in a good sense or bad sense in a bad sense we had people that tried to No, I know. We had people that tried to fuck the family In a good sense or bad sense? In a bad sense We had people that tried to fuck the family over And you know what? We had people that were There Skeptical of what they would find And I can't tell you how many of them Came up to us And said Wow I'm going to show you a little bit. And I can't tell you how many of them came up to us and said, wow, now we get it. Now we understand. Wow, that was bullshit. Wow, this is real. And again, please understand. For people that haven't been, you're like, this show is boring. Fuck you. You don't get it. The credit for that, the credit for that 100% goes to everybody that comes to the event. Because it doesn't matter what her and I do, what Miss Man and I do. It doesn't matter what Jessica does or Perry does or anybody else. It's what, it's the message that's sent as a whole, as a community. And that's fucking incredible. Shelly, next year, where do you go?
Speaker3: Ah!
Speaker1: Where's my mouse? How do I run my computer? Next year, t-shirts. It's like a family unit, but we all have sex.
Speaker2: We may have to do that. Well, because Jessica said at the same time, you did. Oh, okay, awesome. All right, yeah. So there you go. And cats, my family, prevail like they always do. Yeah. This KWM was very, was a lot of work. It was. Not just the actual event. Because realistically, when all of it's going on, it doesn't feel like work. No, no, it doesn't. Some stressful moments, yeah, that is work, and you feel like you're going to lose it. But it all comes together, and it always does. Leading up to it was extremely... The last 30 days was a motherfucker. Last 30 days, yes 30 days yes everywhere from somebody helping telling lies all over the place lying to vendors lying to hotels lying to us and then we kick him to the curb because we don't tolerate that and bash the fuck out of us the fuck out of us and we don't care because apparently after we kicked him out and he bashed us we had more people sign up than cancel she didn't have any cancel yeah but we had more people sign up what does that tell you who knew um but we kind of sensed that it was happening that we started doing all the stuff that they were supposed to be doing and we had a backup in case it fell through and we needed it and we used it and it was done yep yep the hotel we were talking the other day every time you have an event something is going to happen with the hotel doesn't matter who the hotel chain is it doesn't matter who's running it something always is messed up and it takes several weeks for it to get straightened out yep that's just part it it just it's part of it this one was a little bit more trying and i think mainly because we were three hours away so it all had to be done over the phone you couldn't walk in and go what the hell yeah yeah it wasn't just 45 minutes we're here in your office talking right so that was a little bit different scenario but it all straightened out
Speaker1: it all worked out look part of the fun of kwn is that with our volunteers with our staff with each other there is every kwn there always has been there always will be there's going to be moments
Speaker3: I don't know. There is every KWN, there always has been, there always will be.
Speaker1: There's going to be moments leading up to it that there's going to be heated debates, a shit ton of laughter, a shit ton of tears. You know what? Every single one, there's moments when somebody is losing it good bad or indifferent and a lot of hugs there's a lot of moments sitting around at night at the end of the night everybody's going what the fuck just happened and there's a lot of sitting around laughing our ass off can you believe it happened and honestly those memories are as exciting and fun, maybe not at that moment in time, but it's what makes it so important a really good friend of mine has said crazy winter nights and casbah is not a seminar it's not a conference it's not a party it is a movement it. It is a force to be reckoned with. And I thought that was the coolest thing I had ever heard. Because that's really what it is. And you know what? There is, you know, you've had tears in a KWN before. I've had tears in a KWN before. Jesse has had tears at a KWN before I've had tears at a KWN before Jessica's had tears at a KWN before I don't think Barry has although Barry and I were blaming each other for KWN's in general and we've all had a shit ton of laughter in all points in between and I wouldn't fucking trade them for anything now I do want to put this out here because last, a lot of you guys got to hear all the stories afterwards of last year with KWN, almost when I thought I was having a heart attack and all the rest of the shit. I didn't feel like I was going to die this year, ever. Really didn't. And we're day two since KW went.
Speaker2: We are already so far along for planning for next year.
Speaker1: And the thing was, we knew and we talked about it leading up to this Thursday night, sitting in our room, talking about everything that we had learned so far and how much of a difference it was going to make for next year and and i'm going to be completely honest every year because it's a love hate thing for us especially for me coming in you come in having just finished kwn and you love it and as much closer and closer, and when you're about 45 days out, 30 days out, I hate the motherfucker. I dread it. You know, we had an instant. I got off the phone, and Amanda turns to me and goes, is this the right time to ask, why do we keep doing these?
Speaker2: That was when you were screaming at the hotel two days before.
Speaker1: And every year, I turn to her and i say i this may be it i don't think i can do this again i did in the elevator at one point yeah i don't know what day that was yeah and and the thing is is that but the realization was we learned so much this year that we knew that there was going to be a 2026 because we weren't going to waste what we learned. And we are so fucking excited. I've never released tickets for KWN at the previous KWN. That's how excited we are about this because everything we learned, we cannot wait to show you what 2026 is going to be like. And it is absolutely crazy and it's going to be absolutely exciting. And we can't wait. How tall is your notebook? I got stacks of them. This one will fill a ton. Because you know what? There's a shit ton of stuff. It's a lot of little stuff. But the little stuff is important. There's a lot of little stuff we have to fix. A lot of little stuff. And that's okay. Thanks to a lot of people for their patience on the digital signing. Absolutely. That was new this year. Yeah, digital signing was new this year. The app was new this year. How We Did Keys was new this year. Having two hotels was new this year. Having a shuttle was new this year. Having events in two separate locations was new this year. Being three hours away was new this year. There was a shit ton ton of new things and thank you to each and every one of you that were part of the learning curve and were patient with us you know what that's the shit that fills my notebook of things to tweak the shit we learned will make next year and the years going forward so much better. And that's, we appreciate you tolerating our growing pains. We're excited about the cover on ASN because people all over the world, we had people from all over the world this year, even more, are already, I got commitments today. You don't even know this, actually. I got commitments today on the phone. There's two magazines from the UK that are sending staffs to Crazy Winter Nights 2026. Right now, we have a contingency of about 15 Brits coming over right now. We're two days into the planning for next year. And John dislikes me now. And John, we found out if you travel, Skittles will cause you off the bomb detectors at the airport. Because I introduced this British guy to Pop Skittles, he went and bought eight bags before leaving to go back to the UK. And he got pulled over by security and had to put each one in a separate bin. They had to swab each bag and put each one in a separate bin, plus the Girl Scout cookies. And Amanda was officially bloody Miss Amanda for the rest of the trip home. But we got his first taste of, we took him out to dinner and he had his first barbecue ever yep had his first taste that was cool yep so uh that's just the shit like the shit that we got coming is just insane so i have a favor last favor to ask well i guess obviously we have crazy ve Nights coming up next, which we hope everybody comes to. Crazy Summer Nights is coming up. It's not that far away, really. But March 1st, March 1st, ASN voting starts for their awards.
Speaker3: And
Speaker1: this year, I don't even care about worrying about our podcast. There's three categories that I'm interested in. They're going to have the category because you've got to nominate again. The category I don't even care about worrying about our podcast. There's three categories that I'm interested in. They're going to have the category because you got to nominate again. The category of a best trade show convention event, which is Crazy Winter Nights. The second category was created specifically because of our group. It's Best Adult club or group they thought of because of casbah how much what we've done and i want us i want us to win that award uh and the third one is content creator or not excuse me not content creator um fuck i can't remember you'll see it in the post anyways it's basically videographers and that's for the adult side because where we for casbah inc because we now shoot with miss amanda and with myself and and with uh honeybee and with savory sunflower and mr l meat uh from the. So those are the three awards. But, folks, we have won. Crazy Wonder Nights has either won or come in first runner-up the last six years in ASN for Best Event or Trade Show. We've taken out the biggest names out there, and I know that we can do it again this year. So that starts March 1. You'll see posts on Facebook and all over the place. So, absolutely. So, oh, wow.
