Hey kids, the program you're about to listen to contains some adult situations, adult language, themes, and other adult topics. If you're easily offended, this show's not for you. Hey you crazy motherfuckers, welcome back to another edition of Crazy Truth. I am your host with the most, I am Cole, and I'm here with the lovely, lovely, and still slightly worn out while swallowing stuff, Miss Amanda. Hey. And we are the Crazy Truth. Together we're a wild stallion. Hey, so welcome to season three, eh? Good day, eh? And welcome to season three, episode 88. This is a special episode.
This is a recap of crazy winter nights, because we survived. I will survive. And that just got over, and we want to share and talk and fondle our experiences about the love fest that was KWN, because it was a lot of fun. But wait, but wait. Before we get there, let's first give a big old shout-out. Shout, shout to our sponsor. Let it all to our sponsor uh www.sexystripper clothing.com quality exotic rave festival pole dancing clothing specializing in sexy stripper clothing footwear clack dresses lingerie and so much more uh visit. Again, www.sexystripperclothing.com.
And a big shout out because they were there at Crazy Winter Nights. And a big shout out to Kay and her husband. They were awesome. Had a great time. Hey, they picked up a lot of stuff special for our show. Go to their website. Check out their cool shit. We got a lot of that stuff. So it's awesome. It's sexy. Yes. Hence, sexy stripper. Imagine that. lot of that stuff, so it's awesome. It's sexy. Yes. Hence, sexy stripper. Imagine that. Instead of ugly hooker. I'm sure they'll love that part of the shout out on the show. Anyway, so I have a slight cold now, so you'll have to bear with me.
That's what happens when you stand outside and smoke a lot. And I'm going to apologize because I put Cajun seasoning on my mashed potatoes and it's making me sneeze. And she proceeded to snort it like a fucking I don't know. That's what happens when you stand outside and smoke a lot. And I'm going to apologize because I put Cajun seasoning on my mashed potatoes and it's making me sneeze. And she proceeded to snort it like a fucking back alley coke addict. I've been sneezing like crazy sis. God. Well, I have. I'm telling you, you know one of the things we find out crazy winter nights? What?
Outside. It was actually not in the hotel. Thank God. A mega tightly rolled blatant fucking meth dollar bill. You could have fucking, oh my God, it was outside the parking lot. Awesome. Somebody was high as life out there. But they missed the party on the inside. I have a few guesses on who it was. Shit. They missed the party on the inside. So normally we record these on Sunday. This is not being recorded on Sunday. This is being recorded in front of our live Facebook page, Crazy Casbah. Don't tell the others. Shh. Actually, do tell the others, and please join.
But anywho, we did not record on Sunday because, well, to be perfectly honest, we were tired, and at that moment in time, we didn't give a fuck. No, it's not that we didn't give a fuck.
It's just when you – crazy winter nights is one of the most kick-ass fun events uh in the country number one number two we love doing it but it is we are we are exhausted afterwards and the hotel we had it at was huge so amanda made seven trips around the world on friday according to our step counters yeah i mean she did more steps in one day than doing a half marathon so uh there was a lot of running around so we were kind of like one time we got home uh you know and got all hell broke loose here well yeah yeah it did but we had to unload cars and deal with kids and dogs and messes and and we were just tired and we thought thought, well, that show would suck ass.
So we wanted to have a much more fun show. So this show is really all about. Of course, your mom and dad really wanted to know how it went. Yeah, since they know they're invested. Because we had to stop by their house. And drop off some psychotic fucking porcelain rabbits for my brother. But anyways, yeah, they wanted to know. It's like, really, we just want to go home.
We just really wanted to sleep we just really want to sleep exhausted do you not know well for those of you that don't know that didn't come to crazy winter nights why the fuck not just kidding uh but for those of you don't know i mean we got to the hotel thursday and we were and we were on the move from like six o'clock thursday night yeah and we didn't stop moving until we got home friday and i'd been up since 4 30 yeah in the morning no no you hadn't no you didn't stay up the last night you went to bed too no i mean i got up thursday morning at 4 30 yeah thursday morning well we went to bed in a mux we went to bed at four o'clock in the morning on saturday sunday morning what are you going to call that yes we did yeah and but we had a good time the thing is we had a great time and i got to tell you number one it's called crazy winter nights so the winter part means there's always possibility of some shit going on and lo and behold it happened it did we had a storm we had a storm come in and you know what's funny it didn't do anything to hurt us it didn't it didn't stop people coming in fact uh i i don't have my final counts completely yet but we were uh somewhere in the high sevens close to 800 people there for the weekend which was awesome uh our good friend rick at sls and the sls team was there broadcasting live during the whole week that was awesome I don't know how my drunk interview came out The more I think about I was tipsy, I was feeling really good And I know my lips tend to get a little loose He was giggling That was a lot of fun It was really fun to listen to them Because they had just flown up from 80 degrees in Florida Our guest Our lifestyler Of the Cas lifestyler of the casual lifestyle of the year warder michael ramos the owner of asn magazine was up there and was there uh our winner of the podcast of the year award which went to uh life on the swing set they were there and um just we had people from all over the country there and it was such a great time And it's so funny when you do these things because like you know it's like throwing a kid your kid a birthday party right you have this horrible gut feeling that what if you throw this and you find out that your kid is the unpopular kid in the school nobody shows up and you're like fuck we got to go pay homeless people to come in and look busy and that's not what happened at at all.
I mean, and every year the people, they just kept coming. And yeah, we lost some because of weather and totally understandable. But for the most part. They had it all cleared up on Saturday and there was more people that came in on Saturday. Yeah, there were people that came in Thursday night.
Now, you want to talk about stress when you're putting on an event that involves seminars and speakers and demonstrators right that are experts so this isn't shit that just anybody could just jump in and go well i'll fill in on the rope demonstration you know um thursday night when we left to head to the hotel every one of my speakers every one of my presenters was currently stranded in an airport somewhere in the country other than Epley Airfield in Omaha so they were everywhere but where they needed to be you were a little stressed no no no no I was fucking straight up freaking the fuck out uh so i mean because the thing is is that i mean literally it was just like oh holy fucking shit are you kidding me that seriously oh you fucking videos and seriously uh are you kidding me that this fucking thing is happening like this it was like oh my god they're okay this could not be happening and and but lo and behold man keep the faith that's the whole thing keep the faith every single one of them rick made it the sls team made it all the speakers made it by before thursday night before i think the last one made it in at like uh i don't i don't know if it was like probably 11 11 30 or somewhere in there uh the last one made it in so every single one were there and ready to go and able to to kick ass and take names and wow was that like a huge huge weight off my shoulders like thank, thank you, God, for that happening.
And then, you know, everything just kind of came together perfectly from there. It came together nicely. When did they end up getting in? On Friday still? No, most of them got in on Thursday night. Most of them ended up. Just way later than anticipated.
Almost every single one of them, basically, whatever airport they were stuck in, got out of like the last possible flight out before like before o'hare shut down and shit so i mean it was by the skin of our nutsack okay it really was it was like holy fucking shit there's nothing like the night before an event that you spend all year planning that all of a sudden you're like fuck you know you're you're having to jump to plan b but we didn't have to and rock on and oh my god the people that came to the event fucking loved the speakers they loved the fact it was something totally different uh we had oh sheesh it was just was insane.
So we can't wait to hear, there's going to be able to hear the interviews and because people get interviewed by SLS all night long and people got swag. All of our vendors made it, pretty much all of our vendors made it in. Our vendor hall was completely packed and we've got some great stuff. We'll be showing it to you the next couple weeks from our vendors. That was just awesome. So if you want some memorabilia from Crazy Wonder Nights, maybe you weren't able to be there, but you want to relive the memories, we have some. So let us know. We'll have stuff to be up online in no time.
But we had vendors driving in from Oklahoma. We had vendors from North Carolina. We had folks in from New Jersey, from Boston, Massachusetts.
We had folks from one from Utah, jersey from from boston massachusetts we had folks from uh one from utah one from montana michigan well one from michigan we had vendors coming in you know of course local vendors as well we had vendors from all over there was oh my god there were tons and tons of stuff to get i mean you you wanted it you could get it a lot of them are headed on down down to vegas this week to go down to the avns and take in and um and pedal their wares we never we okay again we don't get to do a lot of stuff no i wanted to go to some classes until i missed them yeah we totally we totally missed some classes uh because we just get run around but like uh we were so thrilled to have one condom was there one condom was there one of our sponsors and people totally dug it she gave us some of the greatest things to hand out these condoms and hard containers and how to measure your dick correctly because they're all about making sure it fits right the right size that was cool no what i need any of have any of those in here.
What I needed to get you was the chain mail. The chain. Did you see? Okay, there was one vendor that they sold like chain. Like a halter top. Like halter tops and stuff. And, oh, my God, there were, by Saturday, there was, I mean, there's a shit ton of boobies poking through chain tops. It was really cool. The number of whips and paddles and rope and suckers and leather stuff. We had a couple guys that do leather work. They were there. I know they had stuff there, and then they took months and months worth of custom leather work orders are going out.
And just, it's so cool when we can, not everything was like sex, right? Because our vendor fair, we do it totally different, right?
Our vendor fair is literally if you have a lifestyle business or if you have a business and are in the lifestyle so like we have one guy that she's local she does all the farmer markets and everything else she is a baker and you know no she's not i mean she can make dirty cake she made me one she did and it was really good but it's not just it so it's not even just all sex stuff i mean that that's one of those that's really's really, really cool about our vendor fairs. And we get a lot of compliments on that each year. This is our second year with our vendor fair. And that was really cool.
There was a gal with candles, and while they were burning, you could even take some of it and use it as lotion. I have no idea how that worked, and I didn't go to, I didn't have time to go look and see what it was.
Yeah, we didn't get we didn't get to look at all someone told me about it yep yep i mean it we had we had we just had everything there and that that is so that's so awesome and we actually had a couple vendors that couldn't make it in because of the weather so and and the vendor hall was packed it was freaking packed so that's really cool so hopefully if you went to crazy winter nines and you didn't get to get something from a certain vendor get a hold of us you know we'll take in we'll get you we'll get you hooked up and hooked up so we can get you'd with them um hair and makeup you know we've done this for three fucking years now three years we've done hair and makeup Or hair Sometimes it just You know it just takes a little time To find the right perfect mix yes and we found them uh the two gals that did hair this year were fucking awesome uh they ended up with like 19 or 20 ladies that they came in and did updos for every single one of them they were fast they were just boom see we try to do things above for those of you that haven't been to a crazy winter nights to get this it's about a party right that's that's the leathernways friday night and the saturday night formal it's about education that's all the seminars it's about sporting businesses what it is is it's almost like the hotel becomes i don't know like a little town because it's all about community and that's what we do and that's what we did and and it's so awesome when people can be like hey you know when we have people come up to us it was hard for us to get to leave on sunday yeah because people want to come up and tell us how awesome the time they have which we always have time to talk to people even even when you put on a big event sometimes they want to come up and talk to you about stuff that isn't awesome because that's going to happen right there's what it is but it's awesome to get to spend time with people and i mean i think we were ready to leave by like 10 i don't think we got out of there until about one but it's because people wanted to come up and and talk about their experience with crazy winter nights and what it meant to them and that's the most rewarding thing we do i mean we had some like the dj from friday night stayed to help another guy started get his car started yeah because it was butt-ass cold.
Yep. Yep. And that was just it. There was other people. There were things that, like any major event, it's a hotel, whatever. Somebody got a car vandalized, whatever. But what was funny, what you saw, and you saw it with people, little things. Holding doors, helping people. It was literally like zero degrees out.
Literally in fact i think it was like negative five or some shit with windchill but to watch each other help people because cars are kind of some people had a little push to get out of the snow or the ice uh helping each other with the doors with the luggage like you don't see that and it's not that they all slept with somebody uh you know somewhere else it's the same person it literally it was just one of those things that it's a community so people were helping each other all the way through and that was fucking awesome so and you saw that in the end and people helping each other and that's what the lifestyle is supposed to be all about is we're all a big community we We're all big, one happy family.
And this is what we do. So, and it was just really cool to see that. And I obviously, I mean, God, to try to thank everybody that was involved, you couldn't great news. That'll be another show. Everybody. Yeah. Everybody did something. Yeah.
And here was the other cool part about it when people leading up to it if you need anything just grab us they didn't they didn't care about having to have like a whole bunch of notice just grab us in fact there were people that just jumped in saw something that was really busy like when registration some of the peak times when registration was busy they didn't ask they just they didn't wait to be asking they just jumped in i walked into the registration area i'm like why are you working like oh which is fun to help yeah i mean i mean and that was that was awesome if if they would see us moving or okay well let's give some shots we got to give shout outs to the admins on all of our pages okay because that that our admins uh you know joe todd larry um nancy uh tony uh or bobby well they were interchangeable uh andy uh christine um did you get lisa lisa who am i missing?
Todd. I got Todd. Tanya. I'm sorry, Tanya. I keep forgetting Tanya. She didn't kill. I'm never going to get another cookie. Or turkey, whatever you want to call. Or turkey, whatever you want to call.
I mean, these guys, obviously, without our admins, and that's admins from our alt-CASMA page, our crazy classifieds and pages without all of them this wouldn't happen number one and then you again just the other people that volunteer ahead of time and people that just jumped right in i mean it was so awesome to see because they just wanted to help and if they saw did you notice this if we were moving in any direction like fast all of a sudden you would just develop like this train of people they would they would notice and they'd be like falling right behind you going some going you know how can i help you you know do you need something do you need something uh we had people some some knew to get the hell out of the way yeah well sometimes that's the biggest help yeah and there were people that were like hey they got to get through they got to get through yeah that's true you know they would help us go that way um of course she's not on here now so uh but uh amy amy is another one just jumped right in with the vendor fair and helped with the vendor fair she was on a little bit ago but people just jumped in and and helped wherever they could possibly help because to make a success so you know that was awesome and then they still got to party too and oh my god did we did it go late yeah it did it went late it went uh boy i think i think it was going both nights until, well, 3 plus, 3 or 4 in the morning.
It was thumping. So if you do, when, not if, not if, goddammit, when you do crazy winter nights for this next year, guess what? You better be hydrated and you had better plan on getting ready to party and party a lot because it's going to be that kind of a thing. It's going to be that kind of out of control. Right. Because that's the way we roll. Give me your favorite part of KWN this year. I have to narrow it down? You don't have to. I mean, it can be kind of general. Well, there were several. And it started with the fact that we were just drinking nonstop and we're still drunk Tuesday.
No, I had, what, three drinks the whole weekend? Yeah. And neither one of us drank whatever shit. No, we didn't have time. We lived vicariously through that. If I went with most memorable, well, there's so many. So talk into as many people as we could because we didn't leave anybody out unless they wanted to be left out. I remember they were like, don't talk. If they came up to us, we made time for you. Or we tried to. We tried to make as much time as we possibly could. Right. Yes. Then there was, jeez, I enjoyed dancing Friday night. That's because your legs weren't sore yet.
No, they weren't, but they were sore on Saturday. My feet hurt so bad. Yeah. And then, you know. Just hanging out. You get to the point where it's just hanging out is fun, too. I love the speed meet and greet. Even though I was behind the scenes, I loved that part of it. It was fun. The speed meet and greet was awesome this year. It was awesome. Are you really yawning? Wow. I was sleeping in my chair earlier. No, it was awesome. So this year we had a Swinger 101 class, which was kick-ass. Because we had a lot of new people there. I'm telling you what.
Okay, here's one of the things that I thought was really, really cool. You had age ranges from early 20s up to 60s. If not 70s.
I'm not going to ask ask anybody their age that were new swingers that were new to the lifestyle and when we walked into that to do the 101 class that was awesome because you walk in and you could literally see that was the first session that we that was going that on friday night right and you could literally see how nervous people were i mean you could just you could just see it they were just like oh my god really we're still recovering this holy shit it's not i was born it was a ton of fun but we're still recovering oh my lord oh my gosh do we need to smack you no holy shit but but um the thing is is when they left and they felt comfortable a little bit and and so right after that was a newbie meet and greet and it was so it was really cool because uh they went on to their next session we had to do some things and we stopped in on that session and they'd went from sitting really far apart from each other to sit in there talking and they were actually chatting Thank you.
session we had to do some things and we stopped in on that session and they'd went from sitting really far apart from each other to sitting there talking and they were actually chatting with each other and and laughing and kind of you could just sense the relaxation so when we did the speed meet and greet uh because there was a general meet and greet and then on saturday we did a speed meet and greet in the early afternoon so that people could come in right oh my lord i'm i'm dying i have no air uh anyways we had all these questions written up right yeah we had all this stuff written up you know funny questions to get people involved yeah we only it was an hour-long session i think it lasted longer than that it did last on that but we only asked eight questions because instead of sticking with the schedule you know you play to the crowd instead of sticking with the schedule as they started going within a short time the people were really mingling and and finally we just we just quit asking questions and we were they had forgot all about us that was the best part because the way it was set up we were sitting a couple were sitting in the back uh you know at the front away from and they had forgot all about us no one was like hey you're gonna ask more questions they had we had had them switch around a couple times and people had been laughing and then all of a sudden they didn't even realize it it was a party they were all sitting there talking and and eventually somebody and it did go along because eventually somebody said oh is it over and like yeah you guys are good and they still just kept talking and that's awesome because no amount of look you can play all the fucking silly icebreaker games you want you know you can do all that kind of that shit that you want nothing will replace genuine people wanting to get to know people right and what it was and it was this whole weekend you know we say Fuck clicks Fuck that shit Everybody involved Was saying the same thing That's what was cool And yes You saw The hot people And the average people And the old people And the young people You saw them all Sitting there talking With each other You never saw Like this This like total separation when we went up on the third floor on Saturday night for an after hours party well front end SLS threw a huge after hours party that went thumping until 4 in the morning they did that again on Saturday too until 4.30 I really meant to get over there and I didn't I missed it because there was a train going on and they're in there sweet all kinds of shit oh wow yeah the hell did we miss that i don't know how we always miss that well no saturday night we were having fun i mean because we got to hang out with people but uh upstairs in the karaoke uh at that after hours was another place you saw just again all the different types of people hanging out together there was no clicks see here's the deal everybody listening clicks are bullshit yes they can be beaten you it's all a mindset you know a lot of times it's just people that know each other already going into it for their comfort zone and sometimes you just have to walk up to that group and start talking and you'd be included into it exactly or if you're the host you have to find a way to drag somebody else over there to it and and that's what made this so awesome was the fact that all we did was present it we presented the opportunity and with just a little bit of nudging everybody's partying together everybody's having fun and you saw it you saw it in the ballrooms for the awards.
Of course, for the big ballroom, Saturday night, we did, again, the Midnight Devils, a live band on one side, the DJ on the other. I don't know how many people we heard talk about, they were literally all night long going back and forth. They'd go listen to the band for a little while, dance to the band, and they'd go listen to the DJ for a little while and dance to the DJ, then go upstairs and karaoke. I mean, everybody was just, they just had a blast with it. But it's because they were meeting and around new people. They weren't stuck in their own little area. And that's super cool.
I got to tell you, you know, so obviously, Life on the Swing Set won our Casper of the Year podcaster. And they've been thrilled. They really, they had a blast. They were talking about nothing. They got to go out and actually mingle and party with people also. So they got to put away that we're just flying in to do the work part of it and go party and have fun, which the people loved. And talking to all those guys, they loved it too because they're used to not getting to do that part either. They got to do that ASN, same thing, getting to party.
Tom and Bunny were there, getting to party and be a part of the party and not just working.
And they were all over it so that made it really cool you know it made it cool for the people that are that are there and for them we're all just people we all just want to party and have a good time that's really what we want to do um our group of the year island riders all their ownership was there uh they were active actively participating in the meeting grades and actually uh they got out and what's so cool about that that's a local group not local to lincoln but it's local to nebraska and uh we watched their we're part of their page we watched their page grow quite a bit because they met a ton of people and so what it did was it reached out and brought all these people together hey how can we help each other and I mean that's what CASBA was started for we say it every fucking year when you do this you and I are just CASBA it's all the people that make us the crazy sometimes that's good sometimes that's bad but the crazies is what you're saying yeah yeah so but I mean it's the crazies that make this event awesome and worthwhile you know now what was the one thing you could change if you could change anything because let's be honest why are we asking me this shit not you because i don't i don't everything was perfect in my world it was dreamy no okay well we improved from last year because last year we hardly saw each other yeah no shit we.
It's like we met for the first time. And I blatantly said that this year I wanted to be around you because we're CASBA. We are. We are. And I wasn't going to an event by myself. We didn't want to only be connected via cell phone. So we spent way more time together. Yes. But, you know, as far as anything I would change, how nice do you want me to be well no okay no look here hey remember what the name of the show is crazy truth okay look the venue yeah the venue the venue yeah one thing i would change it's the venue not based upon size because we heard complaints about the size of it.
That's just because people were tired. It was huge. It's a jaunt. The whole weekend, I walked over 63,000 steps. It's huge. But to have an event that big with all these classrooms and all these classes going on, you can't have it in a tiny hotel, because what are you going to do? Stick everybody in hotel rooms to have classes?
Okay, for the next 50 people, we're all going to pile you in room 305 folks sit on the beds and pile up on the chairs well and no and that's it's legitimate okay so before we go on with that i'm just gonna say look we're a little bit different than most people because this is a chance for us to just talk about another one of the positives. But anytime this is the first year that we have added the kink community. Not added. They've always been welcome. They've always. There's always been someone there from the kink community. Right. But this is the first year we really emphasize kink and poly.
And so we obviously we ramped it up. So anytime you ramp something up, if you're truly honest with yourself, there's going to be some shit that goes. Thank you. And so we obviously, we ramped it up. So anytime you ramp something up, if you're truly honest with yourself, there's going to be some shit that he goes, no, fuck. You're going to hit a few, a few two by fours in the face. You know, why didn't you think of that? Crack. I don't fucking care what's happening.
Uh, so, and we had those things and, and the thing is, is I'd, I'm okay with like letting that out of the bag the pussy's loose, the pussy's loose well everybody has hiccups they just don't verbalize it and some people don't see it and that's good, we don't want you to see it but the best part about hiccups is that you learn from them so for. So, like, you know, okay. So, for those of you that don't know, I might have an ego. A little. At times. Just a scotch. Rawr. I'm a Leo. Duh. But, you know, we're getting ready tonight. We're going to be sending out our surveys.
Because after these events every year, we send out a survey. Because, obviously, that's how we get better better so we're like you know the challenge of doing these one of the any of these events is being honest and going okay can we get better and after the first year fuck yeah there and and some of the stuff is real little and stuff that maybe nobody else noticed and that's great we're not gonna sit here you know point out this that and everything. But I think it's important to acknowledge people, hey, look, we have room to get better.
And as we continue to get better, those of you that were here this year are going to see a noticeable improvement next year because that's one of the things. I mean, we spent a couple of weeks really analyzing what did we do good, what did we do eh, and what did we just absolutely fucking faceplant on, and how to fix it.
And that's one of the things that the joy of not doing a shit ton of parties a year, because we have crazy winter nights and we have crazy summer nights, and maybe aattering here and there is that it gives us an opportunity to completely focus on making those parties better each and every year because the better we can make the party the better it's going to be for the participants for the speakers for everybody and including us right you know you when you put on a party like this you totally become like the parent that goes i have fun watching you have fun I don't know.
everybody and including us right you know you when you put on a party like this you totally become like the parent that goes i have fun watching you have fun that there is a degree of that i mean when you see people laughing and giggling and and all the shenanigans you see going on that's fucking awesome it's funny to walk down the hallways of a hotel and be walking down rooms and hearing whether it be a group in there laughing and giggling all right because we heard that he or or fucking you know oh oh you know whatever but you're hearing people take make the most of the activity and that kicks ass and and the other thing that just fucking rocks i really want to videotape one of these years we're going to videotape uh everybody coming in right we're not going to release it this would just be funny shit standing with a video camera to see if people are checking in so everybody's all like yay smiling fresh and whatever and then and then videotape them all leaving on sunday when they when it's like the it's like you know the makeup is the only makeup is on is the makeup from that was is left from the night before the hair is all over the place you're pretty sure that's not a new outfit of clothes that they have on you know and as they're just like drag you know they come in carrying their suitcases with a fucking hop and a skip in their steps.
Yeah, and they're walking. It's going, oh. That is awesome. I think, to me, that's how you know when we've done it right. You know, because here's the deal. If it sucks, people will be pissy and have lots of energy. Or if you have not done it right. If you've done it right, people are exhausted and they've fucked themselves silly.
And I think there was a lot of that well we were talking to people on saturday night they came up to our room it was like two when they came up and they had been talking about how they'd had their first fives from that day yeah very true so fucking kick ass rock on i mean and they weren't the only ones. Well, no. No, there was a lot of people that were going and coming and, well, coming and going. That's the best part about the dance. You see somebody all dressed up for the formal. I love that part. They're all dressed up for the formal. They're there for their pictures, blah.
A couple of dances, then they disappear. And then they come back and the hairdo's a little bit off. The makeup's a little bit smeared.
that they're there for their pictures blah blah a couple of instances then they disappear and then they come back and the hairdo is a little bit off the makeup's a little bit smeared the there's the guy only doesn't have the tie on anymore the dress is a little disabled so yeah i wonder what you guys are doing what were you doing weird huh hold on so anyway so it was really cool you know one of the other cool things and no obviously this show we're not answering any questions no i'm not in the least uh but i got a ton of them at crazy one of nights i had people giving me questions i had one when i was standing out front waiting for somebody waiting for you actually and i was talking with some people and they came up to me there was a couple that came up to me and asking about jealousy.
That's right. I was talking about, you know, jealousy and how we handled it. Right. And then other people were jumping in on their opinions of jealousy and how to deal with it and stuff. So it's. It's cool when they come to us and want, right, the best is when they come and go, okay, don't answer it now.
Because I because i had a couple questions we'll do them the next show uh where literally they're like don't answer them now don't tell us the answer we want to hear it on the show and and so and i was like okay well that's fine and so then they give me the backstory they go and well we know that normally you'd reach out to us so here's the backstory okay you know so they're like giving me the whole backstory and stuff so you know because they really want to actually hit on the show instead of instead of giving an answer then and you know what that's cool i think that's awesome it shows people are into the whole into the whole thing and it's like all right that rocks i you know i know this show is probably somewhat boring i mean for us i think We sit here and we go, crazy winter nights this year was almost, to me, is almost undescribable if you weren't there because it was the grand vision of it and for the most part it hit that for the most part i mean there's always you know i'm a perfectionist so it doesn't really matter but it hit that so I'm sitting there, and it's like, to try to describe it and put it into words, it's hard, because you and I know the both sides of the whole thing, and I mean, I just, we weren't able, the one thing we weren't able to do, and it sucks, because we just didn't have the time to be able to do it, was to be able to have a show at, do a show at the event.
We always plan it, but my gosh, we don't have any time. Well, yeah, and it would have been more, you know, like next year what we have to do, I think next year we're going to have to plan to stay an extra day after. I mean, okay, so when we did the live interview with SLS, what time was that? Wow. Like midnight? Something like, he'd been trying to get, Rick had been bussing his ass trying to catch catch us like. Multiple times. Multiple times. Because he wanted to talk to us a couple times during the event. He'd been trying to catch us and he'd been so patient. Oh, my God.
He was so patient with us. And finally, yeah, it was like 11, 11, 30, 12 before they caught us. And it's like, oh, yeah, let's do it. Hey, you got a second? Yes, let's do it right now before we don't have before you guys leave again but i i think i think next year what we should do i think next year well okay last year we did a question and answer thing but we did that on friday night and people were like still not warmed up no yeah so they were kind of nervous and we talked about trying to just do a live do that again this year but we't have the time or the space.
But what I think would be fun next year we should do is we should do a, we should just stay an extra day. So plan to stay like Sunday over at the hotel. Excuse me. And invite people before they leave to come up. And the whole show should just be letting them give them like five minutes to record their thoughts about Crazy Wonder Nights without us. Because really, for us to put it in words, you know, it's awesome when you hear new people go, I'm glad this was my first event.
It's awesome when you hear people that have been in the lifestyle for years and years go oh my god I've never been anything like this this was awesome you know those things are just like so for us it's almost like to describe it we're not braggy people so for us to describe it it's kind of like you know well I mean it was it was awesome and we're most of our shows are so out of control and wow it's kind of funny when you have something like this but it's just like it's kind of surreal there's a lot of time and it's done with with love but there's just so much time goes into a big event and it doesn't not just ours i mean any big event any party yeah any party of times.
So, you know, you start to own it, but you get so used to it that it's like, you know, you have to worry about the nuts and bolts of it. So you don't get to worry about the nuts and bolts. Make sure it seems magical to everybody else. But you don't necessarily get to experience that same magic. You have a different. You different feeling we come off of this with a lot of pride and obviously all the people's compliments are just incredible but they're the magic of it because to some people this is almost magical, so that's what we need to do next year.
Next year, we need to like, we need to just let the people, and maybe next year will suck and no one will record everything. That will be, right, that will be part of the course. I want these people to go, crazy one of the nights sucks ass, calling them inner pieces of shit. Like, fuck. One thing I wish I would have done, just take Monday off work.
Oh falling asleep all day long I felt horrible And you know what Who was accused Who was the one else that was going to be Fucking be out for a week You But you're used to dealing with no sleep It doesn't mean I don't want some Every couple of months for Christ's sakes I mean I mean, you know. Depends the picture I have of you on your chair. I don't think we're fully recovered quite yet. No. Far from it. Someone today said it's going to take you, I always say it takes four to five days to regain all your sleep and energy back. I don't know. I'm pretty revved up.
I mean, I'm tired, but I'm revved up because I'm already starting working on crazy summer nights. Actually, not only am I working on crazy summer nights, we already have the dates for crazy winter nights next year. We already have the dates. Better book that hotel room. Yeah, you do. Right. But, I mean, we're like, normally, okay, in the previous years, we've taken like two weeks off before we even touch Facebook. And this year, I'm not doing that.
This year, the need for crazy summer nights and the need to get things wrong with crazy winter nights is, yeah, it's already, it literally is starting up. It is day, this is what, Tuesday?
record on sundays we were too damn tired this is tuesday right yeah tuesday it's tuesday so this is day two day two away at the after crazy winter nights and and i'm already started i've already started making notes and lists and things for crazy winter nights for all right because oh here we go I love doing this because what's my plan come on say it dear say it she'll give somebody else the idea so don't do it let's just say it'll truly be magical Disney ain't got nothing on my shit oh boy you know there's nothing more fun than to antagonize Miss Amanda at Crazy Winter Nights about about midway through day two is a good time to start on her when she's kind of tired when his ideas start coming out of his mouth you're doomed and the thing is you stay in front of people because so then you have to follow through with it right right exactly yeah pretty much but the best part is to watch your facial expression because you know no matter how many times i said that idea and no i'm not going to say what it is let's just say it was drastic every time i said it or i would start to say it you would get just instantly you could see the motherfucking because you figured it out she broke the code years and years ago if i say anything once at one time it's probably a joke if i say it twice i might be pondering but by about the fourth or fifth time then it's an obsession and i thought she was gonna jump me and duct tape my mouth closed a little bit just saying not at all it could, you know, we do need to point out real quick and say thank you.
The cup you're using was a gift to us, to you, from Nicole. We've got some. We need to bring some. Oh, we got some artwork that was given to us. I brought most of it in here. The bottle of tequila with the Crazy Casbah logo designed into it. We've got the necklace, the swinger necklace, Lays. Oh, my God, we got all kinds of stuff in here for it. And some poker chips. I don't have it all in here. We got more. The wall will be growing. And, hey, you know, here's the other thing.
It this totally off the subject but we talk about this all the time we of course did a raffle with a with a motor bunny and a trip to vegas which we have a second one we're still going to give out here and next uh we haven't forgotten about it we haven't forgot about it so trips to vegas but uh one thing's cool about the group and the people that come to our part of our our page and our groups and our events this year obviously in the year a member had had their little girl had been hit and killed by a car and so there's been lots of fundraisers and so our good friends at strong arm uh supply company paddle makers they had made a badass box box to hold custom-made floggers and and some some other paddles and stuff that they'd made right paddles so they made now now here's the part that this is where what we do is so fucking badass and so cool and and shows the kind of people that we work with so at the vendor fair they had that box up they were doing a raffle for that box and the raffle all the money was going to go to is it was going to the mom which is an awesome thing every vendor at the at that event many of them that have no connections do not know this person have have no really no social or you event many of them that have no connections do not know this person have have no really no social or any type of obligation other than being just another human every single vendor donated stuff for that box that box became worth like a ton of money and we're not talking like here's a cheeseburger coupon no we're talking like people were putting in floggers they were putting in candles candles ropes uh uh suckers t-shirts cuffs there i mean every single leather working so i mean every single vendor pitched in all all to get nothing out of it i mean mean, none of the vendors were getting it.
They didn't sell their stuff in it. They didn't even necessarily know the person or anything else. But do it because it's right, because it's community. That's what we preach. That's what makes us different, community.
And so at the Saturday Night Ball, when we give out our awards, they brought the box out there which is so big it had to be wheeled out there yeah okay they agreed to make a new box that's bigger to hold all the things that all the vendors gave them oh really that they're going to send whoever to the person who won it uh and that raffle had raised almost I'm trying to think now if it was it was over a thousand yeah i'm thinking it was like 12 it was almost 12 or 1300 bucks something like that and and that was that was raffling those tickets in one day and it was so cool to see this box open up and with all these different things from all these vendors from across the country and that the coolest thing was so they had the mom she was there and they had her draw the winning ticket and then they gave her the proceeds from it and there were tears i mean there's lots of tears with that and that that's just and you know i know this isn't like titillating This isn't like titillating a podcast But it's real You know that's just, you know, I know this isn't like titillating.
This isn't like titillating a podcast, but it's real. You know, that's the difference. Look, so many people, they want to listen to real podcasts and they listen to real sex stories. But here's the real part of life and the real part of swinging and the lifestyle is stuff like this. That's $1,300 that people could have spent on buying stuff for themselves.
that's all kinds of stuff that vendors could have sold and made money for themselves that's that's all these things that could have been self but instead it was give and and that that is badass that is beyond super cool so you know stuff like that is just uh and speaking of community one of the parts that i can't say it's it's the most memorable but it rise right up there is i know a female her husband talked about how she was she was going through breast cancer didn't feel pretty now i know her husband his wife i know somewhat i've talked to her a couple of times and she was just now growing her hair back but she came yes she got to play yes she didn't feel pretty so i'm standing there at the motor bunny thing topless so i feel like shit because here's this lady who lost.
So I'm standing there at the motor bunny thing, topless. So I feel like shit because here's this lady who lost hers and I'm sitting there with my boobs hanging out. Right, right. I give her the biggest hug. And then I tell her while I'm hugging her, you're beautiful. You're beautiful. She starts crying. I start crying. And we just sat there and just held on to each other hug. And I said, it's okay. Let it out.
And that, again, that's what to each other hug and I said it's okay let it out and again that's what it's all it's people it's people being people with each other the fact that she felt comfortable enough to come because her hair is just you know what if we get nothing else in the world if nothing else ever happens or people can say whatever the fuck they want to say about us I don't care anytime that Thank you.
own you know what if we get nothing else in the world if nothing else ever happens or people people can say whatever the fuck they want to say about us i don't care anytime that as we have more and more events where people feel safe to come out to be themselves to you know regardless of of health issues regardless of size regardless of color regardless of age then it's worthwhile I don't okay if people listening people are like oh my god this is some like revival no it's still a swingers party there's still people having sex around you there's still people joking around drinking having fun it's all those things but it's just it's elevated a level it's elevated level you know you you we had the the honor of giving away the first annual uh casket lifetime achievement award which which went to, went to, uh bones and and somebody obviously that's important to has been important to us and important to me as we you know through the years and it was it was really funny i didn't know this till i was talking to him uh yesterday that uh when we were starting to talk about him uh that tanya uh lost it tony lost it a whole bunch of people around oh really yeah uh and and that's because somebody else was losing it but if you've ever heard cool cry but but it was emotional but you know what was so cool was okay that's the part that not not everybody in that room knew who he was or or to be quite honest probably gave two fucks right but the response afterwards again people when you can get six seven eight hundred people in a space and they can just celebrate the moment okay that's fucking awesome that that's really what that's what spurs that's what makes all the hard work in the time so worthwhile because literally that's what we want i mean granted yeah there is still hot sex going on there's still hot kink monkey sex going i mean there's still people fucking doing shit that the average world would be like what the fuck and you throw a dungeon there it's a whole new level of what the fuck right but it does it can be more than that and and it's okay.
Literally, Crazy Winter Nights becomes a town. Yeah. That's what it is. A town, and you know, the town that needs to move locations. Now, to the subject of I was supposed to, I was going to get suspended with rope.
So, they kept trying to find a time to schedule me in, and they said they said well how about 7 o'clock Saturday night and I'm like dude that's dinner okay pause for a second here's the challenge one of the mistakes remember those mistakes that we talked about here's one of the mistakes that we had you had guys yes figuring out trying to schedule that in for a female I a female and i have to get ready i have to put a dress on i have to eat and none of us were like thought about the fact of oh you might not want to go straight from being you know tied up to quick just throw this dress on and be all a mess and go run into the ballroom and so we we yeah the guys we kind of dropped the ball but i did have a guy locally that i finally got to meet him in person that's right because he tried to chat with me before and i kind of my defense mechanism is always i have to know i have to meet you first and gain trust with that okay yes with references you'll gain trust but i just wanted to do that and i had to apologize to him saying you know he goes i'll i'll rig it i'll be your rigger anytime you want to try it and i'm like okay so i'll probably set up a time and go meet with him and have him do it oh absolutely absolutely granted you know it would have been fun but you know you time for so much stuff.
Well, it's a challenge for us because there was a lot of stuff that we – and look, we're not bitching about it because it goes with the territory of as host, you know, you're doing host and hostess type things. But I think one of the other things is that scheduling is a big thing because as one of the things we learned is there was a lot of things that there were so many things that classes that people wanted to go to, but they couldn't be at all the classes at once.
So it was like, you know, we almost that's one of the things I think next year is we were looking at is how we space class out, how many of one class we offer, because there were some, you know, what was funny is when people come and go, oh, my God, there's too many classes. I'll see you next time.
how we space class out how many of one class we offer because there were some you know what was funny is when people come and go oh my god there's too many classes i want to go to all of them but i can't so have multiple classes of the more popular yeah i mean but it's a learning curve but that's an awesome feeling when when people are coming up and and uh telling you that because that means they're excited about because. Because going into this, I'm going to be completely honest.
I did not know, because this hasn't been done before, I did not know if people would be receptive to a sex party, a swingers party, and learning. And we found out there was.
Which shows, that's why people, I think, there's a quest for knowledge right so that's good so i you know i just want to take this opportunity we're almost done with the show again uh from i think for both i think you speak for both of us i usually fucking do uh i i think i speak for both of us when you know we want to give a huge shout out to everybody that came to crazy 109s everybody who listens to our show uh you know maybe you weren't able to make it this time but you're a supporter of our show we appreciate that uh that means a ton that's how we can do some of this stuff i know uh a ton of people are going to try it we're trying to make it to vegas here for this next weekend weather's going to play into this uh but for all the people that have voted for us for our awards we don't know what what how that's come out yet we won't know until this weekend hopefully when we get down there um we just appreciate all the support that we get because you know for crazy winter nights and for crazy casbah and everything else that we do.
