So here it is day uh good day and welcome to day two of post e post kwn that would be the end and recovery time period of crazy winter nights 2023 and oh what a night oh what a weekend see look look at you there see captain yanni fucking tired she's still she's still i was we were sharing the cpap machine last night i was taking right and she's where so it was a fucking hoot it was a blast it was crazy it was insanity it was all those fucking things it's what it's supposed to be uh and it was it lived up to every little bit of it so and we good? Yeah. You sure? Huh?
So a lot of cool things came out of KWN I mean, obviously this year was a challenge with KWN. But the cool thing is there's learning things that have come out of KWN. That's what we're going to talk about. I'm not going to recap just this show because a lot of people that listened were there. There were 500 people at Crazy Mother Hides. Yeah, but there's some people that didn't get to go. I know, but we're still going to get to spend the whole time on that. They should go next year. We had 500 people there. Well, we don't talk about everything that happens.
We talk about the highlights, the lowlights, the fuck-ups, the things that look great. No shit. The things we learned. The people that have their stories crooked on how things actually went down versus how they were perceived. No shit. Because that has to be straightened out a smidge. I got to tell you, first and foremost... You worked today, Amanda. No, Amanda forgot to take Thursday and Monday off. So I worked Thursday.
I got up at four, went to came home packed our shit loaded the car drove out there we took some stuff not everything partied until four o'clock in the morning so we were up for 24 hours i got dick i got pussy deep that's not the point um i guess the pussy put on the show. The dick did not. But the dick was good. Yeah, yeah, it was. And then. It was pussy public. Got up at 7 o'clock and started all over again. And then. And we just kept going. Yeah. Today or yesterday I went to work and I'm like, oh, this is going to be a long day.
Just in all fairness now, just because everybody's going to go over with them, he was cold to sit around and did nothing. Cole still got up. No. Cole went to bed at regular time, which is one. Hold on. Cole's phone has not quit ringing. Ringing, buzzing, vibrating. Since we left Omaha. No, that's not. It's constant. People are like, well, I know you're trying to take time off.
Well, if it was only you that were doing it's constant people are like well i know you're trying to like take time off well if it was only you that were doing it but there was like 15 people doing it and the phone has been constantly ringing it's like okay i'll see you in like two weeks no so so so here's the best part though my and she's listening right now because for those who don't know we're recording in front of live on youtube yeah live on our facebook page. So our CASBA family in front of a lot of them are listening right now. And she's listening.
And I'm going to give a shout-out right now to Jessica, who was our event coordinator. She was worth every fucking penny. Here's what's funny. Poor Jessica. Her original contractual tenure was supposed to end Sunday morning. And she is still working for us on stuff. And a huge fucking shot. And still. And let me, I'm just going to put it out here right now because this is the truth. After seven years of doing a ton of these things, the number one thing that Cole learned at KWN, he will never do another KWN without Jessica helping him out because she was an awesome event coordinator.
No one died, i.e. me. I'm not all gray. Employees. I'm not all gray. And all that is directly because of Jessica. So a lot of you that are doing stuff and that were there, you need to thank her because she did a tremendous fucking job for us. And she's still doing shit right now. So her tenure has expanded and continued, and it's been absolutely awesome. Which ties into some of the things I'm going to talk about a little bit later and how important it's going to be. So a huge shout-out to Jessica.
And then obviously a shout-out to, when it comes to KWN, there's a fucking shit ton of people that help. And there's cadets. There is knights. There's just people volunteer. There's just, we're Midwest, man. It's what it is. Previous cadets. It's people just going, hey, how can I help? Or seeing someone just jumping in our admin team. We can't thank all these people enough.
It's really's really fucking awesome it's really fucking cool we got a chance obviously we had kinky frame of mind here sinful ladies were there front porch swingers were here and that's one of the things they talked about front porch swingers was a was amazing out of vegas nebraska nice like and how people were just like on the spot how can we help they don't have to know you they just can you help and they that was so cool so we were fortunate to have those folks up here obviously uh as well but it that's that's cool you you just sit back and watch that and you go man that's badass so a huge shout out to all those fucking people as well to to my new class of cadets see there's methods to the madness there's a reason we picked the cadets to be get their sashes when we did okay cadets get excited when they get their new sashes and the fucking cadets and the knights were fucking peacock proud walking around with their sashes on uh and that's awesome and you know what here's what's really cool uh a lot of times what we uh uh you know the joy of the cadets and the knights one of the most important jobs they have at these events is not a set job yes look pretty well no literally here here's here's one of their most important things and and i had a couple of them go well we're not doing anything we're just like hanging out and i never i said oh that was how i answered i said oh that's the thing that's what i want you to do see a knight and a cadet your jobs what they do for us is they're just they're like all of a sudden they're just kind of waiting around to see and somebody goes oh hey and watch up can you help me they're like it's like you know a policeman on the street with with a uniform so people know that's somebody you can go several of them were working the check-in they all every one of them took turns working the table or working whatever but one of the most valuable thing they did was they were seen they were seen because we had a shit ton of brand new first timers first timers to lifestyle events, first timers to uh a cat a shit ton of brand new first timers first timers to lifestyle events first timers to a CASMA event and all different skill levels of swinging but that's what that was what they were for and they did it beautifully I mean that's why they're there of course I fucked up and didn't make enough night sashes and I thought I fucking did and I counted I fucking did.
And I counted and recounted and recounted, and I felt like shit. So, okay, so Jessica wants a sash. Yeah. Yep. And, okay, Shelly should say boss bitch. Boss bitch. Probably should, actually. Jessica made me stay focused. She would, like, just stare at me until I made an answer.
Like'd start to go butterfly and she's like yeah but and she would bring me back and like our our saturday morning meeting i'm like you ever have issues with him you let me know and i'll take care of it saturday morning saturday morning that girl texted me at like 6.30 6.30 I was already awake I wasn't up yet and she was up ready to go, came up, had her notebook, handy-dandy notebook. See, somebody else uses paper, had her handy-dandy notebook with a list of things. Issues that we talked about the day before that were already taken care of.
And what I wanted, what you and I wanted on other things. She had a list of things at like 7 a.m i hadn't even taken like my heart pills yet for the day i mean and she's like ready to go she's like you were still laying in bed i was i already had my fucking cpat machine off you know and it's like yeah and she and i mean it's like, it's great to start the day not being fucked before you walk out the door going, oh shit, we're screwed around this. I mean, it was like, I don't know. I think Jessica's key phrase was, oh, by the way. And it was usually, oh, by the way, this is done.
And that made my life wonderful. So anyway, so, you know, this year with KW and the other thing that was really weird is this year was this year was a motherfucker to get KW and the other thing that was really weird is this year was a motherfucker to get KW and put together between cities kicking us out and all this shit. And, you know, so when we were hearing people having fun, I feel bad for people with Grades of Winter Nights this year.
look the the we more than and that's all that's what i'm going to say that's all i'm going to say max capacity at that bad for people with grades of winter nights this year look the the we more than and that's all that's what i'm going to say that's all i'm going to say max capacity at that hotel oh yeah we do okay and and what sucks is we're just lucky to have a you know 90 days if you go back and watch our show 90 days now you can tune in the episode where i'm losing my fucking mind where we're trying to find a new venue so the the thing is it's like okay that's fucking badass that's it.
so you can tune into the episode where I'm losing my fucking mind where we're trying to find a new venue. So the thing is, it's like, okay, that's fucking badass that we were able to put this on, and we had to do things so fucking creatively.
And yet, even having to be super creative, even losing 17 vendors, we lost 17 vendors in a month and a half half two months before the show because of the moves and everything else we still had a great vendor fair we still had fucking uh you know we we lost corpus once we weren't able to do gift bags this year like we usually do we i mean there was just a million there was every reason in the world why this a shouldn't have happened and b why it should have been a complete disaster and it wasn't uh from being i mean we had we lost a couple of seminars but the seminars we had fucking absolutely rocked and they were unique unique.
They were totally unique seminars. I'm still hearing comments on the self-defense seminar. I'm hearing on all of them. The Shibari rope seminar had almost 100 people in it. Wow. Brian and Brenna's from Front Port Swingers, Brian talked about male bisexuality, which in the Midwest, okay, it takes a lot of courage to get people to come out. And Brian and I had a great talk earlier in the day, and they understood there was a chance there could be like two people in there. We didn't know because it takes courage. Do you know how many people were in there? Because I never looked in there.
Had over 75 people in there. Wow. Had over 75 people in there. I mean, that speaks volumes because people felt safe enough to come there. We actually had one for sure that I know of, a person that's been a long-time member of the group, that felt safe enough at KWN to come on to their cross-dresser. And they had kicked it around for every day, but they felt safe enough to do it at Crazy Winter Nights. That's awesome. I think there was 20, 25 people or more that went to the, and I'm getting rave reviews about the cybersecurity. I mean, the stuff we had and the selfie seminars. Oh, my Lord.
That was popular. We could have actually had four more. So we're waiting.
Hey, America, when you start getting pretty dick pics and pretty pussy pictures, they're coming from the Midwest because of of the selfie seminars but people were having fun and some people didn't go to any seminars some people want to all of them so but we were having to we had to get creative with space so it was constant moving people through uh you did the women's the the girls you led the girls the girl time meet and greet i mean it wasn't i didn't do much well tell them what it was tell me what you did what was your women right imagine that right i know the title just say oh shut up no but yeah go ahead so it was more like a introducing and uh you know the women are the power and now this is smart ass because i'm always a smart ass you are and i went okay now we're gonna play church go meet somebody you've never met before yeah but i pointed out that we're not clicks everybody's just comfortable with where they're at so if you look over here this is this is the iowa group you look over here this is the sioux city group you look over here this is the omaha group they were sitting with people that they knew that they were comfortable with now get up and meet somebody yeah and and that was you know we were fortunate that we have 30 39 states and three countries represented and the reason that's so awesome is the the folks that put on the self-defense course the yates they literally were coming and they knew people from facebook from the page but they physically knew no one and when we were talking with them part of their thing was they they had they had one they had two choices that's what as trees said they had two choices they could hide and do and and do nothing they could meet people.
And so there was a lot of people in that boat. Because when you're coming from Idaho or you're coming from Texas, there's not a lot of other people that you're going to know up here.
And the cool thing is the people that had big groups from Nebraska and Iowa and Kansas that were around here, look they they were open to giving people a shot the sixth floor of the hotel on saturday uh finally shut down about 6 a.m on sunday on sunday morning uh apparently they had four to six motor bunnies running and i don't even know so um yeah so people were having a good time and that that's that's pretty badass so a lot of positives and then there were some there were some fucking there good time and that that's that's pretty badass so a lot of positives and then there was some there was some fucking we we in general unless you were part of the chaotic clusterfuck you're not gonna know because you had to be very unless you were standing around us when hey by the way i went to go adjust my shower the whole shower head fell off and my room is now flooded yeah you didn't get to hear about that because well we kind of kept it between us and now it's time to go do this yeah you know part of the game with this and every big event has this type of shit but it well last year i don't remember there there weren't as many issues with some of that Thank you.
has this type of shit but it well last year I don't remember there weren't as many issues with some of that stuff as there was with this one well that goes yeah but there's always some but the game because it is a game the game is to take and have shit not show. Okay, so Mike asked, so were there designated party floors? No. No. There was not. See, here's the thing. This is what we do different. There were no theme rooms. We had themes Friday night. It wasn't a scrub theme. But not in the actual hotel rooms. We don't have playrooms at our events. We don't do any of that.
Because here's the deal. You're not going to fuck in the hallways. It doesn't work that way. That's what your room is for. And we had people that decorated their rooms. We had a group that did a room. They had set times and did shots in their rooms. And we just won. And that's perfect. But the idea of Crazy Winter Nights and all of our events is, instead of it being in your face, so you have one or two choices, you either have to have it just slam down your throat or go hide. No, no.
We allow things set up so that it's available, but you don't have to be afraid to walk down the fucking hallways. Plus, our shit's not illegal. And because here's the deal. The cops got called. It was awesome. We made the scanner. If you look on TikTok and all that, we made the scanner. So just explain that part of it. Because it's actually quite comic. Actually, it's funny as hell. On Saturday night, the hotel bar had a karaoke thing that was not us. And then we had our big formal.
So apparently the police were called by a DJ named Sam who had hired to do a gig and found out it was a swingers party and he was offended by what he saw. So the cops have to go check it out. They're doing their jobs. And the thing is, so they come up there, and then we're like, our DJ isn't named Sam, and we've known him for years and years. He's a swinger. He didn't do it. And the DJ in the bar, it's like, his name wasn't Sam, but he didn't do it. But they had to, like, actually talk to the DJs. They had to talk to both of them, make sure. I never realized Eddie was even gone.
And then they called the person back to have caller ID. Well, there was no music in the background. There was no nothing. But they still wanted to go and talk to the party, whose event it was. And it was so funny because as they came and got me and came out and met the officers, and they were super cool guys. They should have stayed. From what I heard from a couple of people, that their cops are pretty hot. They'd have got fucking laid. There was no doubt about it. I missed it because I didn't know what was going on. They were going to get laid.
But, you know, the thing is, is like, okay, so everything's, hey, you know, cool. And I even offered them to. I'm like, if you guys want, you know, if you want wristbands, so I'll have to check your ID and I'll make'll make you sign away so shannon goes i heard about it here in columbus oh no no huh the next day i'm getting a message from somebody that i chat with on snapchat that's on our page in fucking sioux falls or no cedar falls iowa he's like so is this you were hot okay so i got is this you and i'm like how the fuck do you know about it? I mean, are you seriously on this shit?
The Front Point Swingers were getting stuff from their people back in Vegas. I got stuff from friends in Florida, in California, in Texas. I was getting stuff from all over the country. It was actually the last time I looked that the post had 111,000 shares or views. Okay. So here's the question. In total, how long do you think the police were there? Probably 10 minutes. Probably. By the time, because I wasn't running. I mean, there was no hurry. So whatever hater did that in your face. But here's the best part of it.
it you know what when you're not doing anything illegal or wrong i seriously offer them if they wanted to walk through the book come to the ballroom when you have nothing to hide you don't have a problem it's pretty fucking simple it's pretty fucking easy i often i did tell them they'd have to show me their ids because i'm still going to check everybody's id and i'm still going to make them sign a waiver. And you know what? It is what it is. But that's why we do it the way we do it.
It would have been a different scenario if somebody would have popped off the elevator with their tits hanging out. Then the game changes a little bit. But when you do things right, are we perfect? Are we perfect? No. But you could have gone through that list and recruited a bunch of people that were like, why didn't I get an out invite? Where was this party asking for my cat? I mean, it's just like, oh, man. So the thing, but that was something funny. But it also just shows, you know, why, I think it adds validity as to why we do things the way we do it.
We're not perfect, but God, come on, this isn't that big of a deal. You know? No. I mean, it's really not. One of the cops was my friend's hubby. Okay. Well, apparently your friend's hubby is hot because every girl seems to want him. So, yeah, but that was kind of fun. I mean, it was for a good laugh. I mean, if nothing else, it made for a great laugh because now you know it's a party. And half the people didn't even know what was going on that were in the party dancing around. It wasn't until the next day that everybody was like, oh, my gosh. It's just one of those things.
Look, this shit is really not that difficult. It's a be coolness factor. And that's what it was. And, of course, I mean, that hurts. You know, I was in my tux. Yeah, shit. And there's people roaming around in suits and tuxes and dresses, you know. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, that would have been awesome. But anyway, so that was kind of fun. So, yeah, it's – we had a little bit of everything this year. So, yeah, it was space and stuff. You know, we just sent out the surveys, and apparently I'm going to re-send them out tomorrow or something. They're going to show me how to do them better.
But that's the other thing we do with this. It's way different is that, look, I hate sending out the surveys. I fucking hate sending out the surveys more than life itself. But it shows what we can do better. Well, but that's just it. You can't ever, you know, sometimes it's hard. Although this time, again, having an event coordinator makes it easier to look and say hey we need to do this better because you weren't right in the middle of a fire so when you could see it from a distance you're like oh man man that we i kind of fucked that up there's some things like that that i saw so saw.
So like how much people check in and shit. You know, some stuff like that. But that's how we get better. So hopefully, you know, hopefully everybody fills out their survey. I would love to get, we never get all of them back. But I would love to get 500 surveys back. Because then we can get better. Yeah, you won't see it. No, but hopefully. And the thing is, we want the honest feedback. It's painful. Some of it, but not all. I think this is going to be way better than last year's. Yeah. Well, some years are worth it. To a degree. I mean, some stuff is out of our control.
You know, like you've gotten some, well, we will discuss the hotel at a different day. At a different time. But, you know, that's one of the things. So that's one part of it that as you go through with this it's like okay one of the things that this time around just really hit home is that kwn needs to it kw crazy winter nights will always be midwest that's what kw crazy winter nights is it's it's an extension of us it It's Midwest. And that's the type of people we are. And it will always be in the Midwest. Will it always be in Omaha? Not until there's different hotels. It absolutely won't.
And that's going to be something that is going to, next year, quite honestly, is going to change. Yeah, we're just getting, Shelley said it best, at least the weather didn't suck for once. That is true. Okay, last year was, there was a snowstorm. It started on Friday. It started on Friday. It hit on Saturday. The bulk of it on Saturday. Yep. No, I think a majority of it was overnight because the damn plow in the parking lot at 2 o'clock in the morning pissed me off. Yeah, yep. Okay, so then the time before that was the ice storm. It was the ice storm.
And then it was sub-zero that everybody's trucks were gelling up and everything else. Yep, and the thing is that that year, another one that swept across the country. We're supposed to get one tonight, but it had swept across the country because on Wednesday of that one, all of my educators were in airports all over the country, stranded, and they all got in time. We lost like two or three trucks or busloads of people that couldn't come through the ice. The year before that was a huge blizzard that had blown through.
The week before, it had been like 50, and then there was a huge blizzard, and filled the hotel uh we filled it thursday friday saturday because it was people came early big and they had to and they had to stay and the year before that it was super cool the first crazy one night it was super cool it snowed a little bit but it was a week before christmas it was the first one we did that was not in january the first one we did was in december not january and and it was it was i can't remember that far back Yeah I can I can remember it well But every year it's like So it was nice So it's like That was kind of scary So it's coming tomorrow But that's okay Yeah not gonna lie It's like Waiting for an earthquake Tsunami Something I was like Wait a minute This is all fucked upN.
It's like, you know that it's always going to fuck in. And that was a big topic when people were coming in going, at least the weather's not shitty. You're right, it's not. It was funny because the new people were like, what? So you're listening to the OGs telling the newbies about all the storms and stuff they went through.
You know, one of the things that was really cool to see was there was a lot of people that had uh some shirts from the first one yeah on and it's it's always you know it's really because here's the thing they only wear them at crazy one rights yeah and they break them out each year and that is so fucking badass it was also badass we had a couple of the people there that have our tattoos, logos tattooed. Yeah. I introduced them because he just, one happened to be walking by while I was looking at the new one. And I went, no. Come here. Come here. Check it out.
And actually, there's another guy that's going to get it. Is going to get it on his toe, actually. Ouch. Is going to get it on his toe. You going to get it? I'm actually thinking about it. I'm actually thinking about putting one on my forum. So unless I'm going to balance it out on my own forum, so I'm thinking about it. So, yeah. I feel obligated, you know. Okay, so earlier it was mentioned, one of our admins, Nancy, mentioned it, and this was really cool. It's very humbling.
So our admin team did a newbie seminar meet and greet thing on saturday and uh when i turned around they had all dressed like me and that was really cool so thank you admin team uh that was very very cool of you they all had black shirts behind the scenes and i didn't tell you black shirts the shades the painted their i don't have their nails painted so that was that was really cool uh and then of course the dance on Saturday night. So what was weird was, of course, we had our Casual Lifestyler of the Year Award. So a big congratulation to Christina who won that for 2023.
And we had the Ernest Britt Memorial Award. A big shout out to Vani.
And Cole can never hold it together to be able to someday i warned you fucking ahead of time i know i said am i gonna do it you might okay so i'll be prepared was a little was a little on the low side you know it's it's when i have the microphone and i'm looking at all these people and bonnie's straight in front of me and it's just like shit so i'm trying to explain it and i'm trying to leave gender out of it and explain what the award is and why we give the award and you know it's the people that are battling you know things in their you know in their life and then finally when i looked at her saying this person has had cancer three times i looked right at her i said come here vonny she's just like yeah and that was so cute because she's just such a beautiful soul that was that was she absolutely is everything that uh that award is about and stands for it so that was very cool that was very cool and then we did our first dance which to suck.
Well, I feel guilty. Yeah, you felt guilty. Because who wants to watch two other people dance? And who gives a fuck? Yeah, and we've never done that before. We usually just do the awards. No. You got a bunch of... Why? Because we are... Cold caused some girls to cry. Why do we have to go there? Because he had to fall my eyes out. Because leading up to Crazy Winter Nights, we don't fight. No. But we do talk to divorce attorneys. No, we don't. It'll be like, why are you doing that? Shit gets better. So it gets a little stern. It gets a little snippy.
And it gets a little heated and a little snippy. But we all know in the end it just lasts for that week and I'll be over here soon. Yeah, maybe. So you wanted to do a dance to show people that we really do so love each other. No, no, My thing was that I felt like that for fucking, for everything that goes into KWN, that, and because you and I, a lot of times in the past couple years, there have been KWNs where we hardly see each other. And that's fine. We understand that going into it. And it's not due to sex or anything.
No, no not good we're out thugging no i mean and that's okay we get it but i want i felt like we deserve to have just we always have the last song of the night when we're all drunk and everything else but we but we deserve to have because we even had made the thing we weren't gonna go during the dances we had agreed before we weren't gonna leave during the dances And so I felt like it was only right that we got to have Our Just It's just kind of like A moment of peace And really I didn't give two fucks if anybody was watching Motherfuck But when he decided to announce it He gets all choked up And he starts to cry.
I didn't start to cry. I choked up. I was lack of sleep. It was sleep deprivation. Don't call it sleep deprivation. No, it was. When we were arriving there, you go, boy, I think my estrogen is too high. I knew I could just feel it was a little hot. It's like, oh, let's say I know.. Yes, it's because I fucking, it's because I care. You fucking hoe bag. I don't know. Do you care? Well. You call me a hoe bag. Really, that just went away. That's awesome. Yeah. So, just restarted there. So, the thing is, is I do care. And so, it just, yes, it caught me. It was a momentary catch.
And apparently, was, I don't know, it caught me a little bit emotional, so my voice cracked for just a second, that was all, it was a slight voice crack, that was it, and. Because you told it to look up what you clicked on the picture, ofus. I was fucking high. Dumbass. And so because of that, apparently, that... Got a lot of girls to cry. I wasn't trying to get any girls to cry. I really wasn't. But it was kind of weird. It was funny when I was... And then I went, aww.
And we didn't even use our wedding song No I'm not crying, you're crying Yep, one of our admins It was her birthday, Nancy On Thursday So I brought her cupcakes It was the mold That's awesome, that's funny So apparently that was A highlight, I was it was very humbling okay but it was humbling for us in the middle you know i'm like going okay fuck this i want to at least see your eyes so i pulled up your sunglasses so i can look at your eyes and i'm like should we pull other people under the dance floor and fight other people under the dance floor you know should we do something like no this is our moment but i feel bad and people are watching us dance and we're just having this conversation i'm like well you were like you were like well people will leave and i'm like quite honestly i was like i don't care yeah you did say because by that point in time we that moment was an important moment for us just i think that was that's where we got to take that deep breath and then we were ready to party because really after that most of the hard work is done then for us as a general rule well i mean we were so but we're ready you still had the cops to deal with yeah secret things but i mean most of the hard work's done so it was like okay so that's cool so it whatever and you're like yeah let's pull people i'm like like no and somebody i told i was talking to somebody about it and they said i told them you want to do that and they're like that would have ruined out that was you guys's yes you guys's there was people go we can't wait for that for next year okay it was awesome so that was very that was nice it's humbling it's what i don't think people understand is it's it's very humbling when you have a room full of people that it was quiet they all they were standing there quietly watching like giving us that moment and that's exactly how i think i look at it is they gave that to us they gave us that moment and and that that's you know that's fucking cool i you know that's that's part of why we we do this you know so that and and to get late to get late no we look back now and go okay so saturday during the day how come you could have just gone off and found somebody and you could have gone at this time and gone and found somebody and we're like, wow, wow, we kind of blew that.
We had our moment on Thursday and that was it. And Cole is an idiot. He finds somebody he didn't fucking follow like he should have and they live a full state of way. Fuck! God! Gives us a reason to go that way. Hi, I'm a dumbass. When the weather's nicer. But we're going to go that way. Hi, I'm a dumbass. When the weather's nicer, but when we go that way. I don't know. Fucking hook up Willie, let's go. Sled dog's going, run away! What?
No, no, and actually now we have people to fucking reach all over the place, because quite honestly, we met some cool people from multiple states around, so yeah, we're going to have some places to go and some shit to see. We're going to see some shit down in Kansas. We're going to go party with those guys. Did you just realize that? What? That we didn't play. But the thing is that we've never played at Crazy Winter Nights. The fact that we played on Thursday, because officially it started when it was a pre-party, that we both played. We've never both played at an event. Yeah.
The fact that we both played. Well, it wasn't like we had a room full of people. Because we were at the bar. The bar closed. And the party moved to our room. Yeah. And then Miss Amanda. So apparently Amanda, you know, put on a show. As usual, with a girl. Did you have fun? Yeah. And apparently, it was hot. I don't know. I didn't see it. I was participating. She's saying that. I'm saying that. I'm just now realizing I'm an idiot. Oh. Well, yeah. There's that, too. Yeah. So, I mean, you know, it was, yeah. It was fun. It was cool. So, okay. So, where are we at on that? Okay. I don't know.
So, we met some, eight of them and we met some cool, super cool people. One of our vendors is, they're from Tennessee. They're now on the page. Imagine that. And, yeah. So, yeah. So, at some point in time, I've chatted with him a bit today. Because I'm not taking a week off. That never happens. Maybe next week we'll see how it goes. It does somewhat, but it hasn't yet. A million loose ends, but they want us to come do a hotel takeover in Memphis. Would we have the ability to fill a hotel in fucking Tennessee? Yeah, they're like between the people. Because here's the thing.
At Crazy Winter N Nights this year There was historic parts of Crazy Winter Nights And you know what I'm damn proud of that And I would tell everybody who would listen Because we introduced our safe tables And here's the thing It's exactly what I thought They got limited use Because it's new But the bottom line is We had them, they're there Look We do shit We pay money to have two nurses I'm going to take two nurses on staff. And usually they don't get utilized. This year they did. They got utilized twice. You know, once on Friday night, once on Saturday night. And the thing is, you know what?
Here's the deal. KWNwn you only get out of it what you put into it and it's the same with our resources we don't give two fucks about what shit costs when it comes to resources to keep people safe but if you don't use it if you don't use the safe table i can't help you if you don't use the nurses and you need them i can't help you if you don't use security and you need it i can't help you if you don't use our event coordinators our cadets I'll see you next time.
i can't help you if you don't use the nurses and you need them i can't help you if you don't use security and you need it i can't help you if you don't use our event coordinators our cadets or nights to get us or to get help i can't help you if you don't use our night caps if you don't use but no matter what we're going to continue to keep pushing that envelope and when i was talking to them and talking to the folks in tennessee about those And I pointed out the safe table.
And, like, for the actual formal, for the Friday night, we had some of our knights and our admins, spouses, helping run the safe table. For the formal, we actually had, we paid folks to come work And to work the safe table We don't give two fucks About what that shit costs It's there And we're going to keep pushing And when I was talking about those things They're going, wait a minute There's a ton of nurses in the lasso Yeah, but they're not working They're drinking These are two nurses that are They're sober They're working And they sit in the room I don't know.
working they're drinking they're drinking they these are two nurses that are that are they're they're sober they're they're working and they sit in the room and then they make rounds around the party they walk around yep so i'll give you an example on friday night we had we had uh someone who got got uh uh uh and just had a lot to drink and and the thing was but they were We had nurses Not security people Not Well, we had security people Right, well, we had security But not us Not our admins Not somebody else Assessing the person The person to make sure To determine what level of care that person needed We had professionals Sober, paid professionals To do that and they were able to make the right call to make sure that guest and everything was okay same thing on saturday night and and the same thing with the safe tables i'm happy to go all over the country and start putting safe tables you know what we had some people that put their drinks down on the safe table because they knew it was being watched and and rock on so it's a training we really didn't think you know being the first year that it was going to be utilized to the degree it should i don't i don't think people utilize the fact that we had uh things there to test drinks that if you had said if you had left your drink on the on the table and went to go dance and went back and went, oh, fuck.
I don't think people utilize that. But we have it there. And we're going to continue to have it there. And that's kind of stuff that's like, you know, you just do those things because you want to make things better. It is the reason why we don't have playrooms because, quite honestly, besides being illegal to do that, there's a safety factor there.
But talking to the folks, and they went to some big takeovers down in Tennessee, and they're like, oh, my God, our friends and the people that put on stuff down there would love you guys and love what you're trying to do and and so those are things that we're going to seriously look at doing i mean and and taking that party on the road a little bit and that's something i i you know obviously uh the other shows that were there and and other influencers i certainly hope that they they mention those things you know i mean we don't it's like the surveys we didn't put any requirements on what anybody has to say you know so it's it's free will but that's that doing shit different i think that next year it will be utilized more i think one of the things that that i learned looking at it is you know we've never done this before this is brand new territory right so with that even little things like placement i think the placement for the safe table on saturday was better than the placement for the safe table on friday it sounds stupid but these are all the things you have to you have to learn and figure out and how well but it's just how how the whole ballroom was positioned because you can't set a safe table between a dance floor and an exit and expect people to see it before they go exit to go smoke or whatever they're doing right so it's hard to utilize we didn't utilize the space well enough For the whole entire thing right yeah it's like any vision it's kind of rough at first and it's gonna we'll keep sanding it out we're gonna keep working and fine tuning it it's gonna get better we were super excited one of the sessions that we had I didn't mention it mention it, and I apologize, is there's a new clinic, the official clinic of CASBA, which is Pride in Bellevue.
They are very much supportive of the lifestyle.
They're swingers, obviously, for one, and of the trans lifestyle and LB lb um lgbtq plus struggling on but and and they were able to get us in touch with a nap nebraska aids project and we're able to have and we were able to on friday they were doing free hiv testing you know and and in turn if people wanted more in-depth testing they could set appointments right up then with with pride again and that's something that some of the other folks were like wow to us if it makes it so that someone that maybe doesn't want to go to their small town doctor or go whatever to get tested if we can give them an alternative for safety we're going to do that you know so i guess what we lack in fucking just pure debauchery we make up for in some other good shit now from what i'm hearing i don't think there was any shortage of fucking going on either it sounds like because if you listen to our show long enough you know that we're big time like to sport fuck.
Sport fucking is, I don't have to know you forever and a day if I meet you and I like you and you like me and we're having fun and we're hitting off. And when you want to go fuck, we go fuck. I think we did that Thursday. We did. And it was awesome. But I had somebody go, true style. There was, there was lots of sport fucking going on. Awesome. And the other thing that was really fucking cool was there was just a shit ton of open mindedness.
You saw people at this event, cause I talked to some people, they had planned meetups or hookups for whatever reason, didn't work out, didn't hit it off quite the same didn't whatever not negative not like but instead of anybody being pissed it was like okay well rock on yeah you know hey great nice to meet you whatever and instead of like going well the whole fucking weekend's lost they're like moved on both you didn't have drama and and that was awesome and and we also we had we had some folks that were willing to like one couple had extra rooms extra beds in their room open up to another couple they we got them in contact with each other you know never met well we knew both couples we knew both couples but there was a willingness for people to help each other.
Okay, the hotel that we were at, because I hate it, but whatever, is the elevators always suck. Always suck. Always have. Always break down. Every party we've ever been to, long before we were doing it, they always break down because there's too many people. The alarms are going off, whatever. It's the little things. You know what? We didn't have that happen once at our party. People are being cool. They broke on their own. Yeah, but people are being cool. And it's awesome when you put 500 people in a room, right, in a space, and there was no shit. Here's the deal. anytime.
I don't care how great a party is, when you mix booze, heat, a shit ton of people, and sex, you have the potential for an issue. I don't care if that's a church group.
I know they'd have booze and sex mean it doesn't matter what it is you have an issue you have a chance a potential for an issue okay so straighten out because we're running out of time straighten out the miss uh the misinformation on the the lovely uh hotel staff that decided to uh have have family okay so we'll just put this out here real quick so there was we had one incident with kids one on saturday one of the hotel staff uh brought their children uh unbeknownst to us brought their children to the hotel to let them go swimming while they worked the rumors going around is that the hotel staff jumped all over and took care of it.
The hotel staff didn't do shit. What happened was, quite honestly, was our event coordinator saw Jessica, saw it. Two kids didn't even get a chance to change. Didn't even get a chance to change. Grabbed two of our knights to make sure that they stayed in the pool area, which is very open.
I mean mean just to make sure they weren't anywhere close to any adults in any way shape or any of our people anyway shape form immediately got the hotel staff general manager the general manager well initially they wouldn't do that and and did not stop until she got the general manager to come over and take care of it so the people that were standing next to them and heard how great the hotel staff did they didn't do shit our people jumped all over it and the reason i'm pointing that out is a lot of swinger parties you hear it all the time sold out but there were kids you and it's not just up here you hear it all over the place we don't take that shit lightly it's not like oh well no big deal it's a huge fucking deal we don't want children anywhere we met the general manager a week before he goes there will absolutely be no kids no families no nothing well we won't even allow them in the hotel yep and here they were and he's like well what do you want me to do about them?
Get them out of here. Yep. It was, and that, we take, the reason we're bringing this up is. And it wasn't 10 kids. Yeah. The reason we're bringing this up is, it's to try to show the point of, we don't just take the safety of our, and security of our people, our guests seriously.
We take the safety and security of the community as well our parties although very mature and whatever are still not kid friendly we don't we're at 21 and over thing and we're not kid friendly and we feel it's very important to make sure that there aren't kids there so that that want to specify that because that was kudos again to jessica to our knights that got involved to the people that were right there that got involved and they were able to take care of it they didn't run fine like under five minutes no in fact this was one of those uh i told jessica she has an issue to let me know so she grabbed me and she goes she goes uh so i have something to tell you i'm like okay she goes well there were kids they're all gone i'm like okay and she goes so i don't know how we want to tell cole and i said you know i might wait until i'm on the way home we won't necessarily spoil this at the moment because he might like lose a gasket and she's like okay well i'll let you tell him i said okay so i was like went to somebody else and said i should tell him on the way home right because you know probably a wise choice well you know him okay i'll tell him on the way home so we're sitting at the registration desk and someone turned around and goes so what happened with the kids the part The part of this is, it's not that they were hiding it from me, is that they had it taken care of.
Instead of waiting to take care of it, they got it solved. Because all of our people know our feelings and share our feelings on the safety of the community as well. And that's what we're all about. It's not just about us.
It's about all of it shelly put i saw uh her go that would be jessica to the front desk she was firm but not loud if you didn't know you wouldn't have known it was handled very professionally and that's the other part of it is we understand mistakes happen but we still safety is always going to come first so here's the other thing i said i would talk about the future here is the reality of crazy winter nights moving forward at this point in time 2023 as it stands right now was the last crazy winter nights in omar unless there's a new hotel unless there's a brand new new hotel that is in way better shape comes open up crazy winter nights Winter Nights is going to be moving.
Crazy Winter Nights, and quite honestly, right now, in the running for Crazy Winter Nights, because as I said, it will always be Midwest. Crazy Winter Nights will either be moving to Kansas City, Kearney, or Chicago. Most likely, right now, we're cleaning. Chicago? What the fuck did you come up with that?
I have offers Most likely the reality is We're probably for 2024 It'll either be in Kansas City or Kearney In 2025 we'll try to have Actually when we lock things down We're going to lock things down for two years So because at this point in time Our thing is we think it's time That Crazy Winter Nights moves to... How about Des Moines?
How about it's time that we move to a bigger community, possibly, or one that is more understanding of and can provide us the quality of hotels that we want and that we think our folks should um expect and and that that's it's time to level up a little bit uh we were you know obviously not last year we were a very very nice facility size wise it's not big enough for us uh and so we have to go with something that we can go size wise but also something that's going to still be close and still be doable for folks. So do we have someplace set right in stone today? No.
Because I told me it wasn't allowed to think about it for a week. Yeah, but I'm thinking about it. But I can promise you this, we will sooner versus later. So it was crazy winter nights. It reinvigorates us every year.
2023 is gonna be such a kick-ass year there's so many cool things coming not just with our group but other groups around and we can't we can't wait to to be a part of just everything with the lifestyle for 2023 okay i think we're reinvigorated so so on a closing note What was The highlight I just got boobs into me The highlight Of the weekend The highlight of the weekend for me Can you narrow it down to one i i i think the high the highlight of the weekend for me was it's literally there was a surreal moment when i walked through when i walked through the ballroom on saturday i was going to get a drink and and there was just all these groups of people there was just this hum and there was just this feel and everybody all you saw all these people smiling and i almost was like in my own little world it very rarely do i walk through a room where somebody i'm not saying hi to people are talking but i was walking through and it was like it was like i was invisible and it sounds stupid but and and i just got to sit there and just like it just absorbed in and how fucking fortunate we are to have people that support us and come to our events and and how much honestly i if you go to my events you hear me say all the time i love my life usually it's when i'm making out with girls which by the way i think i made out with i think it went over 30 we had to yesterday during dinner well how many people did you make out with over the weekend so we're sitting there counting i'm like i can count on one hand well it was a little over one hand but i need other people's hands just saying i'm friendly my tongue is friendly his tongue is friendly but i say it all the time that how much i love my life and honestly i do you know, and that's, that's what.
For me, it was Miss Amanda holding me. Really? Well, I was rubbing his back. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yep. When he had the nurses. Yeah. I was rubbing his back. The friendships we've made in last, in, in comparable, KWN was like the best family unit out there. Oh, yeah, it is. That's, that, these are the things, these are the things that mean the, watching the most I put it today on Facebook seeing all the people changing their Facebook profile pictures how about you what was the moment if you say when you were getting drilled on Thursday night although awesome I'm, I'm going to slap you.
Doing live porn? I don't know. No, actually, the moving moment for me was Vonnie. Yeah. I'm not observant to other people enough for shit. Saturday, people were bopping. I'm like, what? Grab dance. Yeah. Bopping. grab dance. I don't even have to know you. Or when we're walking to the dance floor. My ass doesn't hurt anymore. When I was walking to the... Where was I going with that? Fuck. Your ass hurt fuck. No, the ass was about to pie. I know. Which, by the way, thank you everybody for doing that, too. Shit. What was I talking about? Bonnie. Bopping. Dancing.
Well, bopping and dancing, I remember. But what was I going off with that? I don't know. Well, what do you think? I'm going back to the pyro. That was the other thing that we did. And this was so cool. Because it was received really awesome. We had pyro. Because we have healthy Casbah. And so, again, it's more than just fucking. So we had a 45-minute Pio class. I did not do it. I know the girl. That kicked my ass. She was my friend. I've known her for 40 years. I didn't do it because I'd have died. And the nurses weren't there yet. That kicked my ass.
That was a work that I might have to keep shane meeting my casbah tattoo brother yeah um brie doing because her butt still hurts uh look a lot of people want to do what we do and it's a shit ton of work oh yeah it is and whatever but when you stand in front of a room and people wonder why i get emotional like when i was talking to you and and you know to do the dance and stuff because that's an amazing feeling it's an amazing feeling to have people to have it that you can't get out of a room till you can't leave till for four hours later on sunday because people want to come up and give you a hug and say thank you and people want to come up and say they had fun people come up and tell you that it was their first time and they'll be they're now coming for the lifestyle we stood in the lobby sunday morning for hours we didn't leave that entryway until like one o'clock in the afternoon and it's awesome and when and seriously when people when somebody comes up and goes when people come up and go i didn't know if i could do this and you made me feel comfortable when when we had the person that that had the courage to to go ahead and cross-dress at our event.
He comes up to me, and I had my back to him. And I turned around, and I'm like, ah! And he asked me on Saturday if I remembered because I'd been drinking. I said, yes. And I told him then I was so proud.
I was proud because when you feel like you can do that at one of my events although we do a lot of shit wrong if people feel that level level of comfort then i think we're doing something right yeah and the thing is is we will never ever take for granted what you give to us because as much as we try to give to you you guys give us more that you can't i hope everybody in their lives has an opportunity to stand in front of a crowd like we do because every year when i said hey you crazy motherfuckers give me a fuck yeah and the crowd just fucking comes back some people maybe just hear noise i that's not what i feel and and that's amazing i think every year when i do it i look over at you and just smirk because that's it's the coolest feeling in the world and we thank you very very much for everything we thank you guys for listening to our shows and doing all this fucking shit i mean that's that's what it's all about to do fucking shit we're supposed to do fucking shit and we're working on do fucking shit.
And we're working on doing more fucking. Less shitting. That's only if you make sure the chicken's cooked all the way. No, let's, you know, but so. But thank you so much, everybody, for coming out. Thank you for crazy winter nights. Get ready. 2023 is going to be off the hook. And shit's going to come.
We've got a lot of stuff under our belt that we're hoping plays out is officially close enough to over we were not waiting until that's close for 2024 kwn announcements will be coming but keep in mind next up is our birthday bash there's our seven-year birthday bash march 11th you can find out information on it on crazy casbah.com i know we're not afraid of the cops coming there either uh and then we have crazy crazy summer nights two crazy summer nights coming up but we've got a lot of shit in between that is also coming up that's going to be amazing we have incredible nights and admin teams and cadets and obviously new staff and we've got a lot of surprises coming so we can't wait to uh hang with you you all and uh see you all very very soon absolutely so with Thank you to all of you And we appreciate everything you guys do We love so much.
Doing it the only way I know how. The only way I want to. And the only way I ever fucking will. Kazma Style out. Bye.
