And so I'm putting that right now, there's a whole bunch of people going to listen and going, oh fuck, but this show is important and i'll tell you why it's important okay we all know that part of the lifestyle part of swinging part of being able to fuck other people part of being able to have this hobby that we have right is you have to be in the right mindset you have to be okay you know mental physical the whole nine yards if you're twisted and your hobby's golf your game's gonna suck it's the same thing with fucking other people except the the level of like the level of of of conversation increases it it it's it's a deeper thing and it's a very real, it a very real challenge so in the past we have lightly dabbled when we talked about religion and and here's the thing i did a rant this week which right after the huskers lost in a rant so it's i i pulled no punches none so my goal was this time we're not gonna we're just gonna fucking we're going straight into it we're going i'm hitting this like a fucking rocket ship don't care no fears go team okay okay so let's start though i think the best way to start is when we first got so those of you know yes we're both quote unquote christians right uh we are not active church attendees at...
We used to be. We used to be. Religiously, yeah. But we're not active churchgoers now, but we both also very much believe and also have a maintain we have our relationship with God. Okay, so... Mine goes a little bit more.
Right, so the thing is, I lay that as a groundwork solely because of the fact to give people some content of where we're coming from on some things okay when we first got in the lifestyle very first got in the lifestyle one of the first people we ran into or we met at one of our first events was a couple that went to our church now let's back up a second because i used to work there right exactly and and so i knew who everybody was pretty much and and these were not like just like people that were occasional like the the easter and christmas eve service folks they were very active in the church okay so we got exposed to this, A, the concept of somebody that you know, but B, the church thing like that.
Well, the very first party, I'm like, shit. Exactly. You're like, oh, shit. Yeah. You're fucking about break my arm. And I'm like, do you know who that is? And he's like, no. I'm like, no. I had no interest in the guy. So it actually, I used it as an excuse. They were a very nice couple. And in fact, one time I got really drunk and she fucking loaded my ass in a car. Because she's a nurse and she went all nurse mode. But the thing is, is we had to deal with that right off the bat.
And so it has spurred a lot of discussions through through the years when it comes to how do you reconcile or how do you combine or can you combine being a spiritual religious person okay and a swinger or in the lifestyle so my first thing is this well for those who don't know by the way we do this in front of our live studio audience kaz bank don't tell the others it's a secret uh so they'll be interjecting i'm sure as we go through this a little bit so let me define this part of it for a point of our discussion okay okay which is i i we i don't give two flying fucks what or who you believe in, okay?
It's like I don't care if you're spiritual, if you're super religious, if you're Christian, Catholic, Islam, Viking fucking clown college. I don't give two fucks. It doesn't matter, okay? okay that part's neither here nor there basically for the point of discussion we're talking about the fact of that there is an outside influence in your life that helps dictate and direct your morals and values okay so again it doesn't matter it doesn't matter what I'm going to do with it. So we have to keep that part of it clear.
So this is not one type is better than the other or one type is worse than the other. No. In fact, our household is really crazy. We've got Orthodox, Christian, Buddhist, pagan, and whatever the fuck I am. Right. Witch. Witch. And here's the thing. And I'm a history and a poli-sci major, and I like to study a lot of stuff, so I'm going to use some examples on some religion. Again, this is not bashing, so no one get pissed off, okay? No.
There here thank you very much here how i did that thank you thank you very much that was a did you plan a joke okay did you plan it pretty much okay search for the holy grail we are the knights that go nape anyways so the first thing i want to hit on is okay when you when you talk about organized religion as we know it, okay, there's an interesting concept that goes along with this.
No matter what religion or what spirituality you are or believe in or active practice, whatever, there are very similar similarities between all the religions okay they are all the activities religions active you know what i'm trying to say the overall concept of of it's bill and ted man it is what it is okay be excellent to each other you know there's that concept don't fucking steal from each other don't kill each other don't fucking be dicks to each other that's the general kind of concept of a lot of stuff basically be a good person okay that's the overall blanket now the one thing we know about any religion hobby anything out there is that in the hands of the wrong person or the wrong people a message can be twisted and skewed however you want it to be twisted and skewed and i'm going to get back to that in a little bit Thank you.

Religions, there was a point in time in the history of the world where basically a whole lot of different religions were all kind of getting started similar time frame close time frame within 500 years of each other type thing and they were all clamoring to get to get their spot right to get as the main religion they were all fighting to get members basically because back then the reality was he who had the biggest numbers wins okay so in the process to do that there were certain things that had to happen right there wasn't the internet thank god there wasn't all that kind of crap so you know you had to have word you had to have word of mouth you had to have you you basically had had written word but Most people, a lot of people couldn't read, so you had to have people teaching as many people as they could.
Make it as appealing as possible. Basically, at one point in time, the concept of organized religion was like a giant infomercial. Well, that's really what it was, okay? With everybody's own spin on what they believed so when and the reason this is such a big deal is when it comes to sexuality okay so many the the emphasis on sexuality like now we put emphasis on relationships then where was emphasis on numbers because you needed numbers. So here's the thing.
If I wanted you to become part of the religion of Casbah, if I want you to start the religion of crazy truth, I want you to have as many fucking kids as you can and have as big a family as you can so that all of them will be members of the the religion of casbah and they'll have as many kids as they can so that we can grow our army we can grow our supporters right and everybody's doing that so sexuality at one point in time was based on survival not for fun okay full metal jacket this is my rifle this is for fun just Anyways, that's a good reference. That's the basic concept of how a group grows.
Now, what's happened over the course of time with that is as the big groups, and they're still little groups, but as the bigger groups have spl have splintered off right they have their sets of rules and that's when the tweaking starts to begin and there's these different sets of rules and one of the things that the original concept of books like the bible the quran the the i don't even know what the buddhist used to be honest i don't the different forms of written is that they're not supposed to be a set in stone concept they're a living breathing document the concept is that if i don't use the bible for example just because that's what i'm most familiar with the bible is supposed to be used as a guide it's supposed to be used as a living breathing document because a document that was written 2 000 years ago how can it function in today's society if it doesn't move with the times right right this is when shit gets weird this is when we get the problem comes in in that that living breathing document whatever yours is is open for interpretation and this is where we go back to where i said that anything can be used to be twisted however someone wants to i've spent my entire life in sales my job since i became since i was 16 years old was to take and talk to you and convince you that you needed something you didn't really need and that you couldn't live without it okay well that kind of became the same thing with and again i'm going to use the bible as an example okay people people start to twist that they're using that to justify their certain opinions and views let me give you a perfect example the bible was used and this is so fucked up it's not even funny but it's true was used to justify slavery now we all sit here in the year 2021 we know there's no redeeming quality about slavery in any way shape or form but the bible was used to justify it it was used to justify repressing women it was used to justify,.
It was used to justify repressing women. It was used to justify, it's still used to justify repressing gay and lesbian people. It's used to, I mean, it's still twisted and used accordingly how people want to use it. So enter in today's world where we talk about swingers and sexuality so everything this is where the conflict comes in because what eclectic this is where the conflict comes in because depending on who is who has those words and who's using those words determines how powerful and how positive or negative or non-factor is swinging in your spiritual journey in life.

It's a challenge because I don't want to discredit, right?
But I kind of a little bit not discredit religion but discredit some of the rules accordingly like the the concept of why sunday in the christian faith is the holy day do you know why sunday is the holy day in the christian faith because when uh the romans to get them to switch the and i forget which which emperor was on his deathbed to get him so they could say that he was christian and no longer with the like the roman gods you know zeus and all that kind of stuff that the celebration of the sun was once a week it was the seventh day so sunday became the holy day because he said it was holy day no he didn't he was on his deathbed they made it they they used it to fit the narrative now here we are years thousands of years later going well sunday is a religious day true no sunday was a religious day then because it worked to get all of his followers to switch over so if you see that that were that there's a degree of, of the man made in to, into religion.
And this is the problem with, with organized religion is that that's where the challenge starts to come in because there's not a single religion out there that supports or encourages adultery, right? They don't, they don't encourage adultery.
what is defined as adultery that and there becomes the gray area so adultery adultery is wantonly like in if you go to our church would be wantonly physically or mentally lusting after someone else's spouse basically having a spouse because there was one time there was a lecture about how the girls dress nowadays well yeah even even if they're dressing provocative that's committing adultery looking at them and i'm like even if even if it's your own even if your own spouse it but it's you are mentally taking you're mentally doing this without consent basically is what it amounts to and some some religions will take it further and go you're looking at any form of sex for pleasure not just for procreation okay now think about this for just a minute seriously so so how how can can we realistically say that our desire for our own spouse, if they don't know, if I don't walk and go, Hey, by the way, I'm going to go think dirty thoughts about you.
Is that okay? Okay. That, that is, how, how can we look at that and go, Oh, well, yeah, then we're, we're being wrong and dirty. Okay. So, and I know this is going to seem really destroying.

I mean, you, you look for these people because they would sell more, to be honest with you. Okay. And if you walked into that environment with all that shit going on, you can sit there with people that the bookie just left from threatening to break their legs. They didn't pay their debt. The dude just got done doing a line of blow off the desk. One guy was drinking his lunch, and one guy just got done fucking his girlfriend that his wife doesn't know about, right? And you said the word, well, you know, my wife and I were swingers. Motherfuckers can't start thumping a Bible fast enough.

And it's like, think about this logic for just a second seriously how and what what vague universe what vague concept can it be okay to go and have an affair on your spouse your significant other because it's missing something you're sneaking around you're not just having sex for fun you're getting an emotional attachment because your relationship is is fucked up here how is that in any way shape or form better than me saying to you hey me and so and so are gonna go fuck you good with it yep have a great time and come back go hey that was awesome thanks a million and and then we hug and we have reconnection sex and it's all good because we've communicated and our relationship is honest and strong and and everything how in what fucking world can we justify that's wrong and the thing is is this is where the challenge comes in with organized religion can you have both yes you can but i think you have to you have to truly take and look at look at the message that's being delivered to you whether it be the message from in a youth not you but probably not a youth group that's a bad example the message delivered to you in like in a bible study or at your church or your house of worship or whatever look at look at the message that's being delivered look at who's delivering it and look at what is the what is the logic behind it why why like let me give you an example that's non-sexual we all know that churches love to collect money right because they need to collect money when you work at a church it's like finding out santa claus isn't real okay because here's the reality of it it's a fucking business it is what it is they need money to operate that that's we get that but when you see the inner workings behind when you work at a church and you see that departments fight and squabble over money, just like your business, okay, and they get pissy because somebody gets it and somebody else doesn't, okay, and you see wasteful spending, you see stupid shit all over the place, right?
And then you go and you sit in the sermon and they talk about why you absolutely should give 15% tithings. And all of a sudden, this light bulb clicks in your head and goes, okay, so I can give 15% tithings and it's going to go to pay the electric of this big building, the AC. It's going to buy cookies for the judgmental Karen cunts that are out in the thing they're going to bitch and play because I have long hair and wear black fingernail polish. It's going to take and it's going to go to I don't know.
