So we've got a couple of things going on here with this one. One, yes, it is curable. It is something that they can take a pill for and clear it up. Like, are we talking TREC, gonorrhea, chlamydia? Are we talking herpes and on up? Gonorrhea. That's what we're talking about. Yep. Talking gonorrhea. And the confusion, so, number one, there's obviously panic and things like that that have set in with this. They're relatively new. and the confusion and the added mix of this issue is that they had their rules were that they were going to use protection, that they were going to use condoms. Okay.
Okay? So, in that process, so, one, there's some communication issues because they are sitting there saying no one is admitting that there wasn't protection used. Thank you. Yeah yeah zero medical so the the other part of the that i asked was okay so you've went and been you've went and gotten those results what's going on you know what has a doctor told you right okay so first and foremost i think burgers and they re- used their real name, they had not actually went to a doctor yet. I know. So here is what has happened, and this is why I was glad I was able to ask questions and find out a little bit more about this.
The couple that they were with said they've been diagnosed with the disease and that they were that they didn't know for sure where they got it from and that they were pretty sure they got it from the new couple have we heard this before oh geez yeah and i'll tell you why that been a minute okay so and then as soon as the husband was the one that got the message, and then the panic, and they have kind of froze. They did not know what to do. So the first thing, obviously, the first thing I told them, and this part is what delays from the messages, was you need to go to a doctor. Or a clinic.
Or a clinic. You need to go get tested ASAP. Right.
know that you cannot look and you can't take somebody else's word for it and just because somebody else has it or has gotten it you know in a time frame of they're calling you to say they have it you don't know how many people they played with before you how many people they played with after you okay they might have had to hook up with somebody else the very next day so so remind me because i was only partially listening they had they were wearing condoms their rules were that they were supposed to be using protection and that created the roof is that she's saying yes I made him wear a condom, he's going yes i did wear a condom so now they're doubting that too so now so now because they're new here's the reality this is only the third couple they fucked up with okay so they're very new in the lifestyle so now they're second guessing each they're they're second guessing each other what it amounts to is they're currently panicking they're upset they're scared they're panicking right and all those things are because obviously so many of us when you get into the lifestyle the big fear and you can go on any any boards any internet thing and you can see with new people a huge concern at all point in time is always STDs or STIs.
Same thing. So there's always that panic. And so when you're new and it's like, you know, you were shooting the dice and it came up snake eyes on you and you maybe have it, that's a scary fucking place to be.
So the first thing is they have to go get tested and that's what i told them you need to go get tested you cannot assume anything right okay and then the the next thing is is really as a couple we we've been in this situation yeah we have we were in the situation where there was a party event that we went to several couples and their party was on a Saturday I do believe and on the following Monday they left for a trip for Vegas and when they came back from Vegas a week later on that Monday they came back, all of a sudden the party were getting a call saying that they had...
I think it was gonorrhea. Yeah, I think it was gonorrhea. I don't remember now. And we were being accused of the ones that gave it to them. And I was like, whoa. And I can remember the absolute, seriously, the absolute terror that just... that's when i came out to the doctor that's exactly right uh because and here's the i mean i was at work i got the message and i had to tell you you were at work and just the feeling that like your life just fucking drains out of you you're just like oh holy oh, holy fuck. Are you kidding me? It was more than they thought we gave it to.
Right, and so you're feeling, you're offended because it's like all of a sudden they're accusing you. You are like, oh, my God, I have this. Oh, my God, I got to go get treated for this. I got to go to the doctor and talk about this. You know, because now it's like you've had to go to the doctor and have a reason and explain why you were coming to the doctor. You couldn't just fit it in with a random blood test.
Now, our doctor, we've known for years and years out, long before he was a doctor, but still, to have to go to him, and you were the one that did it first, and say, this is what we're doing. And it's like, why are you here for an STD test yeah and it's and how to face that and and then it does though all everything it puts you in a state of fear for whether or not and and second guessing do you want to continue to do this so no I'm going to be able to take pictures to that lovely couple and go exactly exactly yeah Exactly. Yeah. Here's a picture of our results.
So, number one, let's put it out here with this. This is why it's so fucking important you get tested. You need to be tested regularly. You need to be, and look, here's the thing. A lot of people will say, well, you should be tested every three months or six months.
How often you need to be tested is based upon how often you are playing because remember you can be tested clean and have sex with someone the next day and not be clean so you you know how often you're tested is based upon how how often you are playing playing number one number two as a couple you need to you you have to have deeper trust in that you okay now as i reach out because i said my question when they were concerned about who was or was not wearing condoms at that point in time was wait a minute where were you guys doing this they were not in the same room so like for us it was different we were in the same room we always in the same room swap back then so but as my thing is you have to have ultimate trust with each other okay if there is if the immediate initial response is to turn on each other and assume that one of you is lying about the other one that's another problem that you need to very much so take and get addressed and solved because that you need to very much so take and get addressed and solved because that's going to haunt you for a long time.
That problem is going to continue to come up more and more in other areas, and you will become a victim of the lifestyle. Okay, so you really get that addressed. Now, before I go on with this, I do want to say, I was going to wait until the end to say this, but I think I'll say it now. They got back to me with their test results. Okay? They don't have them. Okay? But that was at the end of the week. So, they had a very long week. A, they had a hard time. They ended up going to a clinic versus their regular doctor.
And again, remember remember we're still dealing with virus crap so you know and and going to this and one thing they did that was really really good that they did they went in together we weren't able to do that no okay they went in together so they they faced that part of it together right but the trust issue here of who was or was not wearing a condom or who is or is not breaking rules is huge yeah now it's time to mend that you've got to sit down and talk and you can't just go well now you're closer together you bonded no it doesn't work like that there's an underlying issue there let's well ish ish well there's it's a discussion that needs to happen right so but let's go back to the overall thing of the std part of it in general okay number one everybody needs to understand i'm going to say something that's not a popular thing to say in the lifestyle.

There's a lot of nurses and docs in the lifestyle, and we know that I have a thing for nurses. Well, I'm nurses. Wait, you do? Did I get it? I was scratching my head. Sorry. That's true. get it but the thing with the thing with this is and I'm gonna say this because it's the fucking truth look there is only one way to 100% guarantee that you will not get an STD in this lifestyle. Abstinence. Abstinence.
You have to understand that is the only way to avoid it. We are dealing with something that, as a hobby, is very, very stressful. or very or very very not stressful very very high uh high risk and we're dealing with something that quite honestly uh can be very life-altering okay so you have to understand that there are precautions you can take to lessen the chances of something like that happening a lot. But you cannot 100% eliminate it. The only way to 100% eliminate it is abstinence. So you need to understand there's a degree of you're playing Russian roulette with it.

The reality is people have to understand you have a higher... Quit doing this. I keep wearing my face. You have a higher risk. It's the part of what we do in this lifestyle. When your hobby is fucking... Look, if your hobby is golf golfing the chance of getting golf elbow increases there's a higher risk of that the risk of sunburn increases okay if your hobby is sticking your dick in other people's pussies or getting other dicks in your pussies the risks are a little bit different maybe you'll throw out a hip maybe you'll sprain.
But there's a higher chance that you're probably going to have a chance to run into an STD or an STI. So people have to understand that, first and foremost. So the people that go, well, I would never get an STD or an STI. You know what? I think that for some people that are new, if you were to get chlamydia gonorrhea whatever it can definitely question whether or not you want to continue in the lifestyle and that's natural and that is look if that becomes something that that you go that was too stressful i don't want to deal with that i don't want to then you know what and you decide to walk away that's okay i want to talk now one other thing if you're a couple the the other couple that was diagnosed with the disease with gonorrhea did the right thing they did what they were supposed to do which is they're supposed to you're supposed to contact people that you've had contact, sexual contact with.
Right. The one thing they did wrong is don't fucking accuse. Mm-hmm. Okay? If you haven't, you have a responsibility morally, ethically, whatever, to contact the people that you have possibly exposed to it. Mm-hmm.
But you do not have the right to fucking accuse anybody else of being the one that gave it to you that isn't your place and people that do that fuck you yeah okay it's that simple fuck you you're assholes and you know what you shouldn't be in there and karma's a motherfucker personal experience yeah it's just wrong because you know what no one well we had to go the one couple might you just went to vegas and which is where they ended up getting it from did you play well yeah but we were really careful who we chose well obviously you are yeah and and the tests all came back to everybody at the party including us as negative none of us had it okay so you know but again yes you need to contact people no matter how embarrassing or how humiliating it might be if you have it you have a responsibility yeah you have a responsibility to let people know and and whatever and this goes back to where there's nothing wrong with saying when were you tested last before you hook up with somebody okay It's also also a no problem that's why it's not a thing to say we always use condoms or whatever the case may be but again just understand there's certain things that are other other risk factors now let's talk a little bit about let's talk a little bit about um the non-curable ones and i'm gonna do something here i'm gonna i'm gonna do something that i didn't think i'd ever do but i'm gonna go there you're like oh boy yay okay so obviously uh the biggest one that most people talk about is herpes a lot because herpes outbreaks happen all the fucking time all over the country and in the midwest they're very it's very very uh around it's very i've never seen it right well i would not like look for it but i mean it's you know let me share it here in channels yeah let me take a look at it so but here's the here's the misnomer with herpes and and this is something that it's really weird how this has actually changed okay Kim puts a good point there you can also get STDs orally that's right you can you can get them orally you can get them annually you can get them uh yeah there's a lot of there's a lot of ways to get STDs if you're having sex or sexual intercourse of some variety you run a risk But let's talk about herpes for a minute because the way the world looks at herpes has changed a lot okay, so There was a time That I mean it was herpes was it a very, very big deal if you got herpes.
Now, it depends. It's really funny. In European and other parts of the country, herpes is looked at completely different. Herpes is not even considered an STD. It's considered a rash, merely a skin rash. even within the porn community in the U.S.
And this is coming from some folks that we know that work in that industry herpes is not a big deal anymore if you are not in an outbreak and if you're on your medication herpes is almost undetectable and that it's not even considered a risk anymore to most of us just joe blow folks we hear the word herpes and it just makes you fucking panic you're just like oh holy fuck so because you know anything there is no magic pill there is no magic cure for for herpes it doesn't it doesn't work that way but there is a pill there is a pill to make it so that to control it uh but that's right but the the as this is the treatments and has changed i think that sometimes when it comes to stds and stis is the mental aspect that goes with it that is excruciating because look medicine a lot of times is there's a degree of logic that applies to it medicine is not chaos or at least for those of us that are not in it that's how we feel we feel like our doctors come in and they're and our nurses and they're very methodical and they do things in a controlled organized manner right like where I'm chaotic all time and everything I do oh god you know the circus monkey right okay so when you look at STDs and STIs from a medical standpoint just like Kim saying also and Angela saying the treatments have changed's ways to control it.
There's ways to, you know, there's a process. Mentally, that means nothing to someone who has it when you first get it or when you have a chance of getting it. This is where I'm going. You know where I'm going?

and I felt my heart drop at that moment in time, and let me tell you, that was a Monday, and on Thursday, I got the message that I'm so glad that you went, and you told us to go get tested uh because we just got the report back we are we just started right as we were scheduling our appointment we're starting to have issues and they were starting to have their first breakout and they were both diagnosed with herpes ouch and they're like you know so you wanted to let you know and wouldn't you know go from there now there is nothing scarier than sitting there and having to you're processing it yourself but then you have to sit and and you have to turn to your spouse who told you who warned you to be safe and you weren't now I want to throw a thing before we go further with this understand herpes is a disease that as we've learned because we did a lot of research after that that herpes cannot be stopped with just a condom it's fluid guess what you'll probably have fluid in other places than just right on your dick or just right in your pussy so it's fluids and it you know it's not 100 to stopping herpes okay so people need to know that but by the same token your risk factors there's again a ways to control your risk factor uh so immediately you know i had to tell miss amanda and and of course she was upset but she was not there it was it wasn't look she had every right to sit there and go i fucking told told you.

And, of course, I had to do a full panel on everything, so that took longer. And it wasn't until, because it was a weekend and everything else, it wasn't going to be until the following. Because you ended up going to a clinic down the street. I went to a lab that does it full time.
and it wasn't, I didn't get my results until like the following because you ended up going to a clinic down the street uh i went to i went to a lab that that does it full full time and it wasn't i didn't get my results until like the following wednesday it was like tuesday or wednesday because of the weekend had thrown it off and and everything else and i want to tell you the the stress level of that of sitting there not knowing and then you do that's when we started to you know if you look at our browser histories on both of our computers it was uh symptoms it was it was you know how long did it last how long we got educated which we should have been educated ahead of time because it's part of what this lifestyle is but it took that situation to get us educated now i'm very happy to obviously report that no we you know my test results came back yeah she got she got afterwards and my test results were clean but i can tell you the stress level of leading up to that was huge and not and not knowing and not having a better understanding was a huge fuck up on our part we had to learn it the hard way okay we yes i have since learned and we've learned condoms don't always stop it we have learned you know symptoms we were we were people that got tested but we got tested you know usually every three to six months somewhere in there we would get tested did we change how we started to do some things how we how often we got sure we didn't we learned from it and we grew that's why we do stuff like this this topic isn't near as much fun as some of the other we talked about but it's reality it's the very real deal and no it's embarrassing as to sit here not embarrassing it just is what it is to sit here and say that we went through that scare.
Well, a lot of people do. They just don't tell anybody about it. They just don't tell anybody about it. The thing is, is that, look, if you're someone that has it, okay, the other big thing that comes up is should you disclose it? You know, do you have to disclose it? Should you disclose it?
There's a lot of moral and ethical debate debate on that some people say look it's you know if it's under control no some people say absolutely yes this is our opinion or my opinion if you're at the gym you can jump in is you should disclose it you need to let other people in in our opinion you need to let other people make the decision whether or not they want to take that risk on it and and most people and i think you know a lot of people there are going to be some people to say no absolutely not there are going to be some people that say okay well where they're going to ask questions are you have you had a break yeah that have knowledge in it so but in terms of ethically to share that knowledge yeah i mean uh yeah Yeah pages who don't tell their partner yeah yeah it heighten this kind of stuff you just kind of mumble that someone commented they have patients that don't tell their own partners and that's wrong look look here's the deal if you have it and if you truly love the person that you're with to try to save face save whatever and act surprised when they get it or if they get our hope just go to the crapshoot that they won't get it that's fucking wrong you had a neighbor that the wife kept coming down with stds didn't know why yeah they were curable with a pill never knew why she was getting them and then when she was getting divorced she found out that her husband used to sneak off and have sex with multiple people in the woods yeah all the time yeah yeah i mean there is reasons why they can't well tell their spouse right right there's reasons But, I mean, in this lifestyle, you have to be honest.
You have to, you know, you have to talk about it. The thing is, is herpes is not a death sentence.
Look, at this point in time, they have things now that even in the porn community, HIV, because of some of the new therapies and treatments out there, is not considered a death sentence anymore, you know, all so there's there's a lot of different things out there but communication is is huge and and look you will find on certain some sites you'll find people that they will list in their profile that they are that they have herpes and and they and they understand that they're probably aren't going to play some people are not going to be open to playing with them because of it but again it it's you have to you have to be honest you have to address this the stuff you have to know you have to get this is why that again testing look there are things out there and you made a great point like trick trick is a disease it's one of the most common stds out there and it's one that no one really hears about it causes a guy a guy will have zero uh symptoms zero a guy will never know they have can never know they have it and because of where it's at it's it's in the in the um i think it was p-tube now which i know know there's official word for it but you know what i'm saying the urinary tract there's no way to be able to test for it to accurate to test to see if a guy has it it's only going to be a female that is going to happen and then all they do if if a guy were like if you're married or whatever is well we're just going to put the guy on the pill, too.
