Site picture update

It occurred to me earlier today that there should more people bitching about this and then it struck me. Many people adversely affected don't even realize this has happened because they have not logged on recently.

For instance I know one of our friends here has not logged on in 90 days. I know her photos have been deleted. I also know her husband died a year ago and she is just trying to figure out her life.

So these folks decided to delete her photos because random people suggested they should be deleted, wait removed, is SLS preferred wording. They deleted photos of her dead husband and her in a variety of situations from G rated to R rated. Who deletes peoples personal photos of their recently passed spouse. Fucking insane.

I have been a SLS member since approx 2002. When they unilaterally without notice deleted all my pics, I sent a msg to cust svc support. They said they removed "old" pics because the site owner agreed and because they have the right to do it. I told them it was fucking stupid. Just because you CAN do something doesn't always mean you should! SLS mgmt appears to be as incompetent as the Trump administration who bungles everything they do and then makes excuses. In the immortal words of Forrest Gump: "stupid is as stupid does"....

Where are our pictures? I get putting them as historical; but they are ours. This seems like theft.

Default photos have 100% been removed, which is funny because those were some of our newer photos.

Such a horrible decision, and somehow the execution was even worse.

Just a side note. It is interesting to see how many of us that are put off by this latest manipulation are unlimited members.
Perhaps there is little care being taken because we are economic dead weight.

As long time members I am pretty certain we all have sent people to SLS.

I have become less and less inclined to do so over the years in response to this sort of thing.

Perhaps word of mouth truly has lost its advertising value.

Maybe there is an advantage at the bank in new short term membership over long term subscribers.

That is probably one of the benefits of not allowing Free Members into the forums

OWC.. the only ones "many of us had" including other SLS swingers we play with here were from XXX playtime to show FWB and those we play with we are real swingers and those cannot be replaced... vs the Certs some enjoy. We see Certs 10 plus years old which say yes we met them they are nice.. what a joke. OUR XXX photos were action play swinger times.

All our profile public ones are current and recent as last month .. we know many who do same on XXX SLS with no deceit intent.. and YES we also know and have met couples and singles with 10 plus year old photos who we walked away from on public profiles.

They were dated appropriately .. SLS totally handled this photo purge wrong... had we known we would have made copies from SLS as we do NOT keep them on any other device.

If they want to limit photos or storage plenty ways to have done that with notifications.. meanwhile they still have the edit section or add photos on SLS along with many outdated things they can clean up.

We lost nothing as all our pics are 1 yr or less old. At the same time, implementation and vetting with the membership base should have been handled a lot better. We agree that the dating added last year should have been sufficient. It also signals to us a profile is practicing deceit and we note that If SLS needs to reduce the storage needed for old pics, come up with an allotment and charge for overages. Very interesting we are not seeing an SLS response.

How about this .. repost our photos and get rid of a lot of bad forum crap thats not needed on a swinger site!

The dates listed and posted on photos now by SLS are good enough.. if people cant see for themselves what people do its on them.

Major changes to ones profile or photos should have been posted on front page not a forum comment!

Maybe I am missing a thread here, we lost a large majority of our pictures - including any of our "fun" pictures, can anyone explain what happened?

So s there a projected date for access the the historic files?
Also s there a planned location on the site?
Perhaps in the tools section under manage pictures.

Then they add.. well it was in a forum post

Wow as only a handful really read forums vs membership.. if it was that important of an upgrade, storage , whatever.. how about a banner when logged in.. Sorry people SLS failed big time on this one.

Some of the XXX play photos can never be replaced and were in the xxx file for our reasons and FWB view.
