Weve added text to our profile to ask for folks to have somewhat current (last few years) pics. We have some that are 10 years old and some that are new. But since the addition of the upload date, its become painfully clear many profiles haven't update pics in literally 20 years. Which makes you wonder if the ages given are even close.

We started adding that a while back in the text of the profile.
Now we need dates for last profile update and last date age updated.
While the date on photos is helpful, we wish SLS would automatically delete photos over a certain age. That would help keep this a SERIOUS site.

It’s honestly made me realize how old our pics are, so we’ve started adding newer ones.
We've been putting this feature to good use. While it's not foolproof (anyone could upload a 10 year old picture right now, and it would be today's date), the concept is helpful regardless. We suspected a lot of pics were older but holy shit, we're almost stunned at some of the profiles that we've looked at where even the most recent pics are over 10 years old. Most of these folks aren't dormant either. (They checked us out first.)
Granted, we tend to go a year or two between fresh uploads. We just put some up right before the feature was rolled out, as luck had it. But little has changed in the last two years other than I have more gray hair and T had her tummy tuck. But pics that are 5+ years being the newest available to view? And still active? Guess we're missing something.
We always move them to the front of the line.. its easy , but yes if they loaded that way it would save us time.
I wish that you auto sorted the photos by date so that the newest pics are first and the oldest are last...
We uploaded some new pics and they go to the end so you have scroll through to see anything new.
Go to top right ad use expand bar all dates show up now.. amazing how many sls profiles have 10 year old plus photos!
A very good add! Can someone upload an old pic and therefore you don't know? Sure but that has always been the case. There are a ton of profiles with 95% of the pics old and like one maybe recent etc. We use to have to study the hell out of them, now? nope. Thank you for the add!
Now if only the program could scan a photo and give an estimated BMI and weight.

Curious why some photos have dates and some do not but love that this feature has been added. Love that it outs people trying to use themselves to catfish. What are you trying to accomplish, people who say they’re in their 30s but look 40 in their pictures from 2006?
I just noticed that and I love it. It's also a good reminder we have to keep our pictures fresh.
While it definitely won't stop people from just uploading old pics as "recent", it is a step in the right direction.
Yes we agree.. found a new SLS playmate and the photos were 12 years old.. we asked did they have new photos.. so far "crickets"!
Many have NO CLUE the upload date is now time stamped
Really LOVING the addition of the date that pictures were uploaded. Guess anyone could upload old pics and make them look “new”, but is fun to look back at profiles and see they uploaded pics 10-15 years ago.
