A post from a single female irritated by all the idiots who write to her.

A post with a picture of some dude's ballsack.

Very exciting.

We really just need a modern HTML 5 interface. A way to comment or like photos, and put descriptions on them.

How is this "wall" suppose to work? I went to the help tab and couldn't find anything there the help me.

Wow...where to begin. I can't speak for anyone else, but let me try to give you just a little enlightenment as you said you can not fathom or comprehend.
1) The frustration begins with features that roll out half finished, and literally piecemeal. I can lecture you on the stupidity of rolling out non-functional or worse poorly functioning features as part of an update, but as I am at least 10 others have noted do you folks just not know how to beta test? Fire the idiot that's running your update program and roll out seriously its embarrassing.

2) Your teams inability to see the implications of its features and the up and down side of them is sad at best and a determent to your business model at worst. As someone pointed out what is going to happen when someone posts 50mile radius WALL notice calling out a single or a couple and saying STD, or FAKE, or whatever...have you considered this? these walls need to be policed. Its that simple.

3) Stop talking shit about how your doing this for us while we are locked down...really you rolled out a feature that dosen't work yet well actually 2 features that dont work yet for us..oh how sweet...but you took away the one that did (hot dates)...genius....wait till someone realized then can broadcast hot date on the wall with no proofing from you guys...

4) Stop picking fights with everyone ...instead ask us your members for input...fk how about you actually listen when we do give it...beta testing, emails to explain new features, not doing roll outs till all facets are working, not eliminating features and if you do explaining why, round tables with members to discuss what we want how we want it.

I have no clue who these people are that are posting on My wall. I would like to have the option to remove it from my home page

Something the non swingers that run this site haven’t thought about.

You control what we can have in our profile and in hot dates but not what’s in wall posts.

If you reopen the stupid public wall posting you are allowing an easy method for people to talk smack and spread rumors about other members.

I could publicly post that someone has an std, is a psychopath or a murderer and reach EVERYONE within 30 or so miles of me.

By the time I’m shut down the damage is done and you allowed it.

Stop guessing at what you think we want and listen to what we actually want.

Here are few questions that I do not think have been asked yet.

If I decide once this has been fully launched and tested to use the wall, who will be able to see my public posts?
Example: If my profile is not open to a group will they be able to see my public posts?

Also:
Are there any options for changing the distance for the public posts? (50 miles isn't far enough in rural area)

Honestly, Wayne, I think 75% of it is that people are still pissed that the site took away email and smoked our mail histories. The little birdie was possibly the most charming feature of the site. Email and instant messaging are used differently by most people, and that the site doesn't understand that remains unbelievably frustrating. Being able to keep email histories to know has emailed us before and what they've said was very useful. Now the only way to do that is to just let it pile up in our messages list.

We occasionally get a reminder that the site itself continues to use email; it's just not available to the rest of us.

Most of the other 24% is the rigid policing of what people can and can't write in their profiles and hot dates and the concomitant time delays in making updates. It's like having to ask Dad every time we want to get a drink out of the fridge, who then tells us to ask our mother, who's on the phone and we will just have to wait.

It's not that people are pissed that SLS is adding new features (although adding one that cruds up the entire home page while remaining nonfunctional is baffling) it's that SLS keeps taking away the features we DO like.

OK.....Wayne. When do you expect this new feature to be completed? Take your time and do it right because when it comes out full featured, if it doesn't work ,there will be many complaints...... Maybe it will surprise us and surpass our expectations.....Thanks!

So we have always taken the stance of let's give these updates a chance and see where they go. Some we've liked (we actually like the hot date age and preference change) and some we abhor (the message system is terrible). We are however, a little perplexed by the wall. so far Like many of you, we see a few wall posts already. The posts see are folks relatively close to us (39 and 31 miles respectively) but we neither know them nor are SLS friends with them. We explored the "wall" a bit and It appears that if you do post to the wall, you have the option of "Friends Only" or "Public". Cool. However, the "Public" option is not available just yet. So how are we seeing wall posts from people we are not SLS friends with if that option is not available?

I find it disconcerting that NONE of the people on our wall have looked at our profile.

I will either block anyone who post a second time w/o being on Who Viewed Me

I try to turn off Wall which right no I can NOT do. SLS says "Coming Soon" re turning off!

Maybe only way is to block all profiles who posted on our wall

For those tiny, tiny fraction of our customers, I simply do not understand why you continue to stay. The only logical conclusion is that if you are staying, you are getting something out of this company. </span></p>

I'm liking it because it's a way for me to get attention. In fact, I just had my husband take 4 new pictures that i put in a collage to ask for people to "vote" on the best picture.

It seems that Every New Improvement
is met with very Negative results.
Maybe the " improvements dept"
needs to be replaced. At least some schooling is in order.

It's more like 1/10 assed. It's non-functional. All it is is an irritating useless pile of junk that takes up the entire home page when you bring up the site.

But hey I get to see a 'Happy Easter' message every time I go to the home page from a free member with no pics that I don't know. I feel so warm and fuzzy now.

Why would you guys roll out an incomplete feature? Even Facebook and Myspace doesn't do this and they're FREE! I genuinely don't know of any company who would start offering ½ assed products during the building stage. It would have gone over so much better if A; unveiled all at once. B; had an optional feature. I know this is the owners fault and he's a tech idiot, hopefully if he sees these messages he'll realize he needs to listen to smarter people and let them do their job the way they knew it should have been done in the 1st place. Fucking stupid.

<p>When you select the "X", you get a message that it is "coming soon". That is a feature that will be added as they update this. I will check your support tickets.</p>

Maybe there should be a way to turn your wall off if you don't need or want it. I see the X up in the corner of the wall area, but clicking it doesn't remove it from my screen. Also, I seem to have two pending unread support thingys that I cannot access or see, yet the red circle with a 2 in the center is constantly on my screen.

We wont use the wall and would like to disable it if possible, please and thanks.

<p>The profile feed (wall) has a public and private (friends only) option. Right now the public option has been turned off due to some issues. This was released on the app first and the public option was enabled, so those posts you see from people you do not know were public posts by people near you (within 50 miles of you). </p>

<p>This feature was added due to the pandemic to give people something to do virtually while they can no longer go out and meet in public. </p>

So if I want to make a post, I get an option to post to my "friends only", yet I am seeing posts on my wall from people who I have ZERO idea who they are...?

Also, fix your chat if you're going to endlessly promote these virtual socials.

And now it's back.

I changed my mind, it's the Malaria Wall. Disappears for awhile and then comes back when you least expect.

They away messages and leave us with a chat option that works horrible. Now I have no idea what this is? Lucky for them I paid for a Lifetime membership, because there is no way I'd invest one penny to navigate this mess! WTF!! It's bad enough we're dealing with pandemic restrictions, WE certainly don't need this when we're trying to make some connections :((
