Bad impression

It's really annoying, when people don't read your profile. We only want a female. We blocked single guys from the jump, so that wouldn't be an issue. We still get messages from couples, who clearly didn't take the time to read. You don't have to take a day off from work, to read a profile. Ours isn't even real lengthy....it's straight to the point, a 2 minute read, if you read it slow.

I get that less here on SLS. On another site we get a lot of bad first impression messages, sometimes before any words have even been said. Being that I'm a straight guy, a dick pic as the main profile picture is already a turn off.

People that very obviously have only looked at your pictures and blast off a message leave a bad first imppression. If they can't even take a few minutes to read about what it is you're looking for, why should I even bother. Messages like, "Hey, you're really hot!" from SMs where our profile clearly says that the male half does all of the online communication dosn't bode well for the sender.

I have not seen such obvious cut/paste messages as the OP mentioned, but honestly, some can do worse.

We just dealt with a similar situation from a likely pic collector. Not a copy & paste, but just as annoying. Couple contacts us with a single "Sexy" comment, so we politely responded "Thanks, your's as well".
"She" contacts back, would love to play with you guys, can we see more pics? They have 4 pictures in their profile...meanwhile we have 26 available to view. We politely responded that we have a bunch open, and the 4 in our personals aren't "play pics", only pics with our faces uncovered that we share when planning a meet. Crickets.

There are soooo many low or no effort people on here we simply don’t entertain them anymore.

We got contacted by one couple and when we looked at their profile they had copied and pasted a couple of paragraphs from our profile and put it in their own. It's still there five-plus years later. We should get some sort of writer's credit if they score.

So last night we got a message that in and of itself made us lose interest quickly. Not being ones to judge so quickly we went to the sender's profile and found that the message was a copy and paste of what they said on their profile. Seriously there was not much thought to the profile and then no thought at all when they sent it as a message. Now we have gotten some bad and lazy first contact messages but this line of thinking and approach is something new at least for us.

Anyone else get something like this? I mean a word for word including the "bullet points" (numbering) of things in the profile.
BTW not sharing what was sent due to it actually being what they have on their profile to prevent "outing" them as the ones being talked about unintentionally.
