@SUM
I do not wish you to get it either.
However, there are some mistakes in facts in your statement.
This disease is just like real estate, it's 'local'
The estimates for NYC area, depending upon whose data you extrapolate from shows anywhere from 3% to almost 20% have been infected. That does not equate to LA, that does not equate to Buffalo, that does not equate to Quincy, IL, that does not equate to Alva, FL. That only equates to there.
It has not been proven that it ONLY kills 'fat', 'old', 'diabetic', etc.
I am, from a data standpoint, fortunate. My county publishes pretty damn good data. My county, geographically, is huge. More than 25% of the tested positive cases are in a federal prison and the staff there. So far we have had 5 deaths and have had ~475 confirmed cases. We have broken the norm though in ICU -> death. We have had ~20 people in ICU. This jail situation is what I am watching and watching closely. See, when people bring up the cruise or other deaths to support it is old people, well, look at the environment. A cruise is a floating prison and a nursing home is a confined close quarter prison. If I see a lot more deaths out of the prison, which, interestingly enough, two days ago went on lockdown, finally, then I may be persuaded to believe that elderly are more susceptible to death. However, what I have observed is that getting it is not restricted to just the elderly.
