Putting this back on topic, clearly the Republican plan is for the pandemic to magically go away... and clearly it isn't going to. No surprise. The Republican agenda hasn't been based in reality for as long as I have been politically aware.

McConnell has given up trying to get Republican senators to agree on anything.

Trump has always know it is over his head and has left it to the adults.

So, now it is Mnuchin and Dems trying to come to an agreement that can get 12 Rep votes in the senate, before the economy, debt and stock markets tank.

The issues is, neither the Dems or White House have any reason to give the other what they want.
