I tried to look this back but can't rhyme or reason out of it. What happened that got the single male blocked? Something about money?????????

Wrong? That couple got into a tiff with me about it, then blocked me. Notice the block pattern, all those who disagreed that single males should flip the bill ate blocked.

I don't know whether its exclusive to IPad/tablet users or not, but I've accidentally blocked at least one person by inadvertently hitting the block icon while looking at their profile.

I mean, I don't sweat it, exactly - I just wonder what the deal is. Is it someone who is acting on something someone else told them? Is it a 2nd profile owned by someone else I have a history with? Is it someone who just decided to block me because they decided I sucked based on something I wrote?

Is it someone I perhaps know in the "real world"? I have one person blocked because he was on my softball team.

Weird. There's a couple of threads where the most recent poster is shown in the forum index, but no post is visible to me when I open the thread. 1 user shows up on my block list. The other doesn't. Can't say I recognize either name. Oh well.

This is the thing kids do that we will never understand. It's a trendy thing to do or sometimes it's an "I dare you" kind of thing. My daughter has been "married" and/or "engaged" on fb probably a dozen times. 1st time I saw it I asked her about it and she said that there was an update going around that said you had to "marry" the 10th person listed on your friends list.... or something like that.

In short, you're old and shouldn't try to understand it.

I thought Facebook was just for letting the world know what kind of sandwich you are eating, or that you just trimmed your nose hair.

I'm not throwing a holy fit over it. Just shook my head upon seeing it.

Of course, there are many pics that make me shake my head. And a few that are so bad I can't believe any sensible person would post them.
