Phoebert- while New Orleans certainly plays a part I have a rather unusual family. We’ve always been far more Addams than Brady—mostly due to me. I’ve always walked a path that others often deem strange.
That goodness I found a man that embraces and accepts my oddities and adds a few of his own.

I just get a call from my daughter's boyfriend. He called to ask my permission (and for advice) to propose to my daughter tonight at the Vampire Ball!
They and their friends are coming over tonight so I can help them with wigs, costumes, and makeup for the ball. It's going to be hard to hold it together.

We had a bad storm this week and we arrived to our lake home with big branches, sticks, pine cones, and pine needles everywhere. I'm very thankful for our awesome neighbors who came over to help us clean up our yard after they had just spent the whole day cleaning up theirs. Good neighbors are priceless.
