My "Dirt hunting" trip paid off Sunday with another Man's wedding ring and some other odds and ends. The best one I find in the next few months will most likely become my wedding ring. That is, until I find a better one. I like the Black ring I found last week and it is a perfect fit but I have a ring reducer and ring stretcher so almost any of them can be made to fit.

HT2: There are, it looks like, 5 more in development on my plants right now. One more will be ready in about 2 weeks, and the rest probably in September.

HT. We stayed home this weekend. Today is our 6 year anniversary so we were going to go see Ant man (despite the poor reviews its the only thing playing) but our free movie tickets we get for donating blood were not accepted. They said the movie passes are not for a new release. No problem. I didn't really want to see it anyway, so an early dinner at Longhorn, RedBox, a cold drink and a night of cuddling on the couch.

HT#3 Treasure Island tide is around 8 Sunday morning. We are going Dirt Hunting in front of a dozen resorts. Fingers crossed, we hope to find Gold.

Mrs SOTW had to work, so I went to the beach metal detecting with a friend. It was my first real weekend of "dirt hunting" fully geared up. No one would ever believe what I found but it is more than enough to pay for my mch.

It is done. A lot of clusterfucks with regards to timing but for the most part went off without a hitch.

HT: A late night phone call from an old friend needing help, turned into a day and a half of catching up over drinks and lots of fun.

19 years ago today, Mrs. VA and I (with two rugrats in tow) made it official, and I became the luckiest guy alive.
HT - made it to the opening of the club last night - I don't have the words to do the buffet justice, hats off to Chef Keith and crew
HT2 - my my my the sheer delight seeing so many friends, lovers, and potentials in suits, tuxes, gowns, and an array of sexy evening wear - it was worth the drive though I could only enjoy flirting, dancing and laughter (all good medicines and great fun).
