HAPPY THOUGHTS - 2018
Congrats! It’s almost time to get even, one Mountain Dew and Hershey bar at a time.

Its official. We are Grandparents!! An emergency c section but a happy & healthy baby girl.
As of last night, Mrs. 888’s front and rear suspension performance upgrades have been completed and is working flawlessly fluid for this weekend. Hope the pleasant weather holds out for a mountaineous carving trip.

HT: Home.
An abundance of Bahamian Coconut Rum sure changes a persons attitude at the end of a long day.
Philz Coffee, the only place I've ever found coffee that tastes as good as it smells, is walking distance from my hotel. And the coffee is as good as I remember.
The hole in the metal mesh of my RV gate is now closed up so its hard to see. Yaaa i dont have to replace the mesh which is a pain the ass.
Still dont know what blew though that mesh, winds from the thunderstorm where clocked at 86mph.
Where!?!?
I saw her perv our profile a couple of days ago.
I voted by mail the day I got my ballot. I voted for a candidate that I personally think is a ditz, but she's way better than the other guy, so my conscience is clear.
@ Good
We voted by mail a few weeks ago. We had the sort of the same-ish mindset.
A person I know is running for County Commissioner. I know him well and he is a nice guy but, in the past 10 years he has failed at not 1 but 3 business. We don't need him running our county so, we voted for, "The Other Guy"
HT: Voted in the primary.
After careful thought on one, I voted for the person I've gone fishing with on an occasion or 30. I figure if he survived my bad jokes since we were 15 (16?) he can survive this.
We've only been home for 5 nights since July 21. I am so looking forward to being back in our own house tomorrow!!
Not looking forward to the 5 hour flight to get there....
HT #1 through ? - I walked my little dog in my favorite park this morning. It was full of lots of small groups of pre-adolescent LARPers and their adult minders. The enthusiasm and the snippets of conversation made what is already a very fine walk even better. My favorite was the tiny pink princess who threw down her sword and shield and raced over to ask if she could pet my dog. She ended up gently cradling tiny dog and covering her with kisses while telling me how much she wanted a Chihuahua.
I have been jumped on and kissed by not one but two strange dogs. (It happens a lot, but usually not twice in one day.)
I got in and out of Trader Joe's in less than 10 minutes.
There was an unexpected midafternoon phone call to make up for a missed call last night.
Even my monthly annoyance - going to the pot shop to buy my dog's cbd oil - was actually pleasant, since I got the not high guy.
This is the year of a makeover. My babydoll’s customized racetech suspension system for her Kawasaki Ninja arrived this past weekend. I’m tearing out her old system and carefully building a completely new one in it’s place.
Tomorrow she also gets a rear hydraulic race shock precharged with 150psi nitrogen.
She is going to love the way it handles in the twisties.

Mark Twain who wrote,"The coldest summer I ever spent was summer in San Francisco." If he went there now he would step in human SHIT with almost every step. My brother was a crazy San Francisco Giants fan. He would fly there 55 years ago to see the World Series. He said S F was a beautiful city. Not anymore, IT'S FULL OF LIBERAL SOCIALIST SHIT.
VA, I think it was Mark Twain who wrote,"The coldest summer I ever spent was summer in San Francisco."
OnT: sleeping in...on...and under... Happy Saturday.
BT
I've been upgraded to first class, same as on the way down. Additional happy thought is that I used miles instead of paying for my fare.
HT: drove up the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco (or San Franfreezco - it was 64 degrees there!) to The Sea Ranch in a Mustang convertible yesterday.
HT: Spent two days at PIB in advance of my family reunion this weekend.
HT2: Shared our B&B with a favorite LS couple.
HT3: They surprised us by inviting a hot SF friend of theirsto join us last night. We had met her nearly three years ago but didn’t have an opportunity to play but stayed in touch in hopes of fulfilling that fantasy.
HT4: Mission accomplished.

@Kibbles,
That's exactly what they said.
Everyone is healthy so all is good! She said there is a bonus to the delay, "One more Wednesday night family dinner!" My daughter is a positive thinker :-)
My dad will be coming back from the Dominican that day from his mission work, and starving to death so, I think Lobster will be on the menue.
Sotw, I'm guessing they miscalculated when she would be 39+ weeks. Better safe than sorry
@LA.
I would agree... you're back!
About 2 years ago we sort of went on break. After 10 years i guess we just sort needed one. It wasn't like it was planned or even talked about, just sort of quit going out.
Here's the happy thought. Last few weeks we've been talking about getting back out there. Well this past weekend the Mrs got on sls and sent a birdie to a single female. That's like the 3rd birdie she has sent in 22 years.
They hot it off big time. Played on Monday while I was at work then she came over yesterday and the 3 of us played. Now we have a single male friend coming in for the weekend. The 3 of us will catch up and of course play then on Saturday we're having a small get together. Us, our new unicorn, our single male friend and two other couples. Save to say we're back!!!
I think this belongs under the WTF thread.
My daughter went to her appointment this morning. The Dr. told her to get everything ready and go to the hospital at 3. She went. They sent her home and said they made a mathematical mistake and will induce her on the 17th.
SMDH.
