HAPPY THOUGHTS - 2018

Our 4 day trip to the Bahamas was WAY better than expected. My Sister-in-law musta took her "happy pills", because she was the best she has ever been. By the end of the trip the girls were going to the bathroom together...the guys were not.

We ate Lobster, conch and fish every night but didn't get crazy about catching them, like the old days. Back then it was a job.

We drank a lot and laughed even more. I got a bunch of cool videos of us fishing, and videos of our scenic fish viewing/diving trip to Memory Rock. This was my first real vacation to the islands. The girls have me boat shopping...…..

I've come to the conclusion that they don't comprehend because as they read a post they are too busy thinking about what they are going to say next. You know the type, you've met them before IRL.

I’ll admit, sometimes I wish I could see what stupid shit they post but then the dementia passes.

They apparently had a field day getting everyone riled up over McCain’s death. People like to think they are toying with them but the opposite is true since they do not read, comprehend nor care what anyone else has to say.

They are like small dogs behind a fence. They bark, if they get a reaction, they bark more, they may even bite if you put your hand within their reach but their bites are ineffective and the noise is just a bluff. They can only have power if you react.

Ignore them and keep walking past their fence they might keep barking just for the sake of hearing themselves but they will quickly go back to licking the bare patches where their balls used to be and pissing on the same tree they always do.

HT- finally followed the intelligent words of other good people on here... blocked Ncal and Hft. It is so much more enjoyable to not see their posts anymore. Also feel very stupid for taking so long to do it

We got to see the Grandbaby last night. CUTE AS A BUTTON!! Momma is doing very well also.

Years ago I created a mockup of a proposed software bit I was asked to work on. As it turns out, the project got killed before it got too far, but I still have the mockup. It was generic and I kept it as an example of a mockup should it be useful in the future. Yesterday I dragged it out - it was for evaluating ophthalmological services.

Whenever I make a mockup I use characters from Disney or Sesame Street, for instance, and usually give them unfortunate injuries or conditions (such as Cookie Monster suffering from viral gastroenteritis from eating raw cookie dough). It's partly done to amuse myself and our clients and partly because it's more engaging than "Patient A suffered from X disease". I usually give the doctors names from the Smurfs, Peanuts or the Three Stooges.

So I pull out yesterday's mockup evaluation of Big Bird at Sesame Street optical. The ophthalmologist noted that "This patient has enormous eyes which are about 9 feet off the ground, making evaluation difficult."

It was a good laugh.

Bam bam's naked pool swinger vollyball party was a blast, great food great sex and really fun pool volleyball. Yaaa we are in !!!!

HTs - I just spent five days with a few thousand people who love some of the same things I do. My brain is full of good memories and no bad ones.

I ran into someone I lost track of 20 years ago, because she lives in the neighborhood my thing was in and was at the same bar where my group met. Then I kept running into her, which isn't so easy in the middle of an already busy downtown. We caught up over a two hour breakfast.

My flight home got upgraded to first class.

My dogs are fine and someone only had to feed the little dog by hand for two days (she goes on hunger strikes when I go out of town).

I got as close to drunk as I have been in decades last night and don't have any ill effects.

Bahahaha!

Thank you. She was a really good child growing up so if her kid is anything like her, being a Grandpa will be a cake walk.
