We'll be your podcast hosts for today so sit back and enjoy the sweet sweet melodies. Hey everyone and welcome to episode 91 of Swinging Down Under. I have Daryl on the phone. Thanks for calling in Daryl, really appreciate it. Yeah no problem. I mean happy to be part of the podcast. Oh I know. Now have you heard much about our podcast? Yeah no not really anything at all. Yeah you know No, pretty crap. Right on. So Daryl's been down to Australia and he's about to leave for India, so we wanted to get the opportunity to put out the Naughty New Orleans recap episode before he leaves.
So a bit of a different one. We've got a few pieces of audio snippets from the street later that we're going to play after Daryl and I chat about it, and then we've got an extraction out of the Sex Uninterrupted podcast that we're going to play, which was an on-site recording that we did in their room one day. Do you remember that, Daryl? I do. I do. I remember having a little nap-nap while it was happening. So that's with Sex Uninterrupted. No, it's not true. It's Sex Uninterrupted and Average Swingers.
Before we get started in the naughty and New Orleans stuff, Daryl, what's the Stardate number? It's episode 91 here swinging down under. Stardate 20, sorry, Stardate 125. Oh, you seemed a bit confused for a second there though, like maybe. Well, it's because you said, no, it's because you said Stardate number. There's no such thing as a Stardate number. Oh, I'm sorry. It's a Stardate. You're right. That was totally my fault. It's a total terminology issue with you. Oh, my bad. My bad, sorry. Yeah, maybe you should work on that. Sorry to fuck you up there. It's okay.
Okay, so we went to Nordia, New Orleans in 2019, and we haven't been back since 2016. So that was quite a number of years. You mean we went in 2016, and then we re-went in 2019. That is correct, yes. That's correct terminology once again. Yeah, yeah. Look, I'm here for the Grammar Nazi. That's what I do. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Grammar Nazi, they're shit out of things. You're giving our friends in Perth a bit of a relax then. They can have some time off and time off from the Grammar Nazi title. Yeah, absolutely. All right. And they need it as well. I mean, ooh. They need it.
So in terms of like, you know, going in 2016, I mean, if you've been out there and you've listened to our podcast back from then, you would have realised that we were a little bit overwhelmed. I think you might be actually getting a little ahead of yourself here, Kate, because I think we probably need to first introduce a new member to the podcast because people might be hearing her conversation in the background. They might be. Do you want to take the honours there, darling? Well, I mean, yeah, just to introduce a third member to the podcast now. Yeah, we have another co-host, a dog host.
We have another co-host, a pooch host that we've adopted just on the weekend. She has had eight years of life up until now, and she's about to get the rest of her life spoiled entirely out of her by her new mum.
So we'd like to introduce you to Penny if you haven't yet seen her she's up on up on Twitter as well so say hello to Penny and she's the new co-host so you'll occasionally hear the odd squeak from her as she chews on one of her new chew toys of the you know I'm sure 900 chew toys she'll receive in the next three months yeah so she um she's actually sitting right next to me so we adopted a jack russell um here in singapore as as daryl just said she's eight years old and we talked we called her penny and um yeah we're happy happy to have her as part of our family we've been wanting to adopt a dog for ages but i wanted to make sure that we were doing the right thing and going to be responsible dog owners so here she is so now we now we're going to have to do an episode on how to masturbate with a dog in the house.
Looking at you, I know. How to – I don't know about looking at you. I don't think I can quite pull that off, but how to deal with swinging situations with dog in the house, all sorts of things, you know. So we'll get Penny's take on this as we can along the way so whether she feels rejected or you know upset about being removed from the uh from from the room when when sex needs to go on yes and any other dog owners out there uh feel free to message us and let us know if you you know have any little hints and tips do you put a treat outside the door and then take the dog out?
She's pretty reliant on us at the moment, just being brand new, adopted, just not even been with us for a week. So you kind of feel a bit bad locking a door and leaving her out, don't you? Well, and for cat owners, look, the cats don't care. So there's really nothing else to say. I'm sure they're lovely pets, but they don't care that you're having sex. They're too busy in their Egyptian ways looking after the rest of the world. Oh, you're a weirdo.
Okay, well, hey, let's actually now do, since you've decided to do an update, let's do a quick update, and then after we will roll into the podcast. So just really quickly, I wanted to thank our newest Patreons for August. Actually, quite a few of them, Daryl.
david leah j stew ronnie and curious couple 69 thank you so much for joining our patreon uh team guys really uh appreciate you joining us there and uh do tune into uh live streams we've got one coming up actually on saturday morning which daryl's probably promptly forgotten about but here's his official reminder no i uh i am fully across that one because apparently now these are getting added to my diary which is which is perfect that's how my brain my brain works my outlook calendar rules my life that's right as long as it's not syncing to your work calendar then you should be you should be completely fine right it totally is syncing to my work calendar excellent excellent nothing nothing but curious minds at work then yeah Hey, look, if anyone's digging through my work calendar and decides to find something that says that as a title, then, you know, dig in, see what happens.
All right, so let's take a quick break, and then when we come back, we're going to talk all about Naughty in New Orleans from our journey and from 2019. All right, guys, welcome back. Now, Daryl, you're on the line here. Thank you again for tuning in. 2019, Naughty in New Orleans. I'm not online. I'm on the line. Oh, you're on the line. Well done. Well done, you. So, I mean, we went in 2016, right, and we were quite overwhelmed. I mean, what were your thoughts going back in 2019? Certainly, I think we dealt with it a lot.
There's certainly still quite a few things we've got left to learn and do better next time around. One of the biggest takeaways, I suppose, is the difference in the way we need to each individually rather than as a couple deal with the event.
So I think I have a limit in terms of my my timing to be individual people people as a whole i need some time to be able to recover and sit in the room and relax a little bit whereas you're just wanting to be out there all day involved with everything so um that caused a little bit of friction for us this time around but certainly i had a lot more fun there lot more fun. There's still some aspects of it that I think are not great, but there's certainly a lot more positives to take away from it this time.
And I think a lot of that as well is that we built a group of friends between the last time and this time that's given us the opportunity to catch up with them as well, which was really nice. Yeah, I agree, actually. So, I mean, one of the things... We certainly had an epic fuck-up as well. I mean, there's an epic fuck-up that was part of the event, but, yeah, we won't dig into that one too much. No, no, I got you, but you are right. I think the biggest difference for me, I mean, well, one, the weather was less frigging sweaty and hot this time.
I don't know if you recall 2016, but this time the weather was perfect. Like it was not too ridiculously hot in New Orleans in July, which was a bit of a surprise to me. But I think you're absolutely right. It's having that group of people that you already know or a tribe that you're going with.
I think one of the things that was a bit of a shock for us when we stepped into this event, and know if you haven't been to nordia new orleans this event has got around about 2600 people attending it so to go along i guess you know fresh-faced and not really know anybody at all and then try to really quickly make those connections in a sea of people is really hard even for the most seasoned um you know and confident individual but if you're just starting out or perhaps you know even even now you know you turn up at one of these events to quickly make a connection to then spend enough time with somebody to perhaps even go a little bit further it is super super hard and this time you know going along we knew people that were going you know we knew quite a few other podcasters we also had a bunch of friends going and then we also had a bunch of people coming along kind of in in our little group as well and I think that that's a big differential I mean the event itself is fantastic it's well run you know it's really exciting it's very different than any other events out there because you get to drink and party on bourbon street which you know is a holiday destination in its own but on top of that you know you you can have this opportunity to to make connections and I think that was one of the things to me that was a big standout you know going along to this event it gives us that space to spend time with the people that you know are interesting matter to us you know we're friends with you know these sorts of things people we don't get to see very often right yeah absolutely and i think you know by the sound of it that's how a few how a few of the people that we know treat this event.
It's a time to get a bigger group of people together that they enjoy time with or just even hanging out with to get them all together at one location and have a party that's associated with that. Yeah, that's true. I mean, because if we tried to fly around to, I guess, some of the people that we really wanted to catch up with there, if we tried to fly around to all those cities, you know, one, it would be cost prohibitive, but two, it would take us a really long time.
So although you get that one-on-one time, you know, it's going to cost you a lot more money, especially for us flying internationally, right? So it's a nice place to kind of go along and have everything else going in the background. You can participate if you want to or not, and then just see your friends, like go and spend some time actually just chilling out with your friends, drinking, partying.
It's actually, I mean, it's actually one of the downsides as well, though, because you don't get that one-on-one time that I think is more conducive to a, well, certainly a longer-term friendship, but also a longer-term sexual relationship as well. You don't end up with that same quality time, if you want to call it that, for lack of better wording, because I didn't eat a thesaurus from breakfast this morning, so I don't really have anything better. No, I absolutely agree. That's the thing that I think now when we come into this event, we do have so many people that we want to spend time with.
But when you when you kind of look at these events and you think gosh that's five days that's bloody ages and then you get there and you're like actually if you want to as you say spend quality time with people that really starts to cut down your your time so if that's going to be like spending you know an afternoon together and an evening together that's that day gone like so you it is a bit of a struggle and you say it's a bit of a balance issue because you know you've got your own time as a couple you know as you said before you know your energy levels are different to mine and your own time individually and then you're also trying to make connections with both new and old people it's it's a tough balance right yeah absolutely absolutely it's um and not something i'm i feel i'm particularly good at either.
It was a lot more fun this time around, but certainly I wouldn't say that it's top of my list in terms of fun activities to do. So I'd much rather hang out with the individual couples on an individual basis or a smaller group of people we know. But that's just, again, my, I suppose, inability to deal with larger groups and maintain my energy levels throughout that. So, you know, the event itself is quite good, but I'm not sure how good a fit it is for how I like to party with the people that I like to party with.
Yeah, and that's actually something that I need to figure out more than anything else. Well, we did speak about that on the Sex Uninterrupted podcast as well, which I'll link obviously in the show notes, and we're going to play a snippet from that later in the podcast today. But that topic, we're actually going to... No, let's not. They're just getting way too much credit.
We're going to explore that topic a little bit more because i've actually been talking to katherine who's a licensed um counselor and therapist and she's also she also specializes in non-monogamy relationships um and she is actually non-monogamous herself so we met katherine we spent some time with her at naughty in new orleans and i was talking to her after the event about how you know we interact differently how i draw my energy from certain things and you know that completely depletes your energy levels.
And so we do have a different balance that we need to find even within ourselves as a couple to attend these kinds of events. And that can be hard because you do feel like one person's always giving up something, right? So I've actually been talking to Catherine. We're going to get her on a podcast soon and we're going to actually delve a little bit into that and how couples can find balances when they are different. I spend enough time with Catherine to realise we have a very similar sick sense of humour, so I'm concerned about how that podcast might end.
Well, either way, it's going to be entertaining. Yes, for sure. So she's going to do a live on-air kind of counselling session with us and she's going to interview us and let's see how that goes, hey? All right, cool. So, we covered kind of friends at the events. You know, the other thing I thought was really awesome this year and a little bit different was some of the smaller group events. So, there was a couple of couples there that held some events in their room.
So, Christian and Anna, for example, held a cocktail afternoon in their room and they actually made a Sazerac, which if you look this up, this is actually created in New Orleans. And then the USA C&D held a board game afternoon. Now, those were kind of fun, right? So the reason I'm mentioning those is because that you can find smaller events within a larger event and find your smaller tribe. Because, you know, again, this event has 2,600 people.
It's hard to find groups of people that are very similar to you but these smaller events you know just random little events do show you that there are people out there if you like board games there's people out there like board games you want to go and drink cocktails and make bespoke cocktails there's people out there like that people out there who like motorbikes whatever it is you're going to find smaller groups and i thought that was really cool to see that there's these kind of little sub-communities um there that you know form together and and make that person's event special, right?
Yeah, absolutely. It was an interesting one this year because I don't know whether, maybe we just weren't invited last time around or maybe that didn't happen last time around, but it was really nice to have those more confined conversations, I suppose, with less people and just getting to know people a little bit better than you do in the large party environment. Yeah, you're right. We may not have been invited last time. You're absolutely right there. So these experiences, of course, you know, if you're out there and you're like, what? That happens all the time.
Yeah, we weren't invited, so thanks for that. Yeah, yeah, whoever didn't invite us the last time around, I mean, shit. You're off the Christmas card list. No Christmas card for you. Didn't even make it on the Christmas card list. We don't even have a Christmas card list. Shit, we've got to start one. Actually, no, that's super outdated. No, is it? Yeah, I think so. Okay, that's, well, I mean, shit, I was going to get a Christmas card photo or a Christmas letter photo done, you know, with the new edition this year, so I guess I won't do that.
What was a standout for you, and what's something that you think either you didn't do very well or we didn't manage together as a couple? What's some good and bad stuff? I think just the bad stuff is certainly managing those couple interactions when it comes to any sort of difference in energy levels or a difference in opinions or perhaps in play with people, things like that. That's probably the biggest negative is that it's stuff we need to work on in that sort of environment because it's not a normal environment, I think, and I still suffer with it somewhat.
So that's definitely the negative. The biggest positive, oh, look, is just hanging out with the people that we care about. That's the biggest, you know. We got to spend a little bit of time as well prior to the event with Jane and Angie from the Average Swingers, which are some of the loveliest humans that I've met that I think we know. And there's other people that we've managed to catch up at the event as well that haven't seen in a long time, like the Joneses. That was great.
And, you know, and also then meeting some of the new people, or me meeting some of the people that you've met previously at the Miami event that you went to solo. So it was good to put faces to the names that you've been talking about and the people that you enjoyed talking with as well. So, yeah, that was definitely the positive. I think it's more about the friends and friendships is the positive. Certainly there was a whole lot of drinking involved as well.
That was pretty fun, although I did get a little carry away on one of the days let me just give it a heads up that two drinks for two drinks that are like slushies but 109 proof probably not the best way to go to keep oneself in any semblance of order for the day so yeah that was also um but that was probably me trying to offset the lack of energy by trying to alcohol-proof the energy levels. It doesn't really work, though. No, it doesn't work. It doesn't work a lot of the time, no. Not all the time, but it doesn't work some of the time, sure. What about the theme nights?
Did you have a favourite theme night? Oh, good question. I actually don't remember any of them. Oh, excellent. Yeah. Okay. So, I mean, in terms of my favourite or my positives and my negatives for our experience at Naughty this year, I think, yeah, there's absolutely, we've realised. So when we first went there, we had expectations of the event and we were just wrong about those expectations. So that was why our 2016 experience wasn't where we thought it was going to be.
was that plus we were overwhelmed whereas this year I think one of the things is absolutely that mix that mix of energy you know when when one person's really wanting to get out there and enjoy the day parties and really be amongst it and do the parade and do this and do that and then the other person is just wanting to chill it's really hard to find that balance so for us that for me that was definitely um and a negative and then that's that's again it's it's about us you know um and our our way that we approach things and how we i guess negotiate and balance that out a little bit the other thing is um you know de-aluded to it earlier but there was an absolute absolute ball of fuck up of um of our doing at at this event and it's made us um we felt shit at the event and we continue to feel pretty terrible now now the reason we're bringing this up and we're not going to delve too much into it but the reason that i wanted to mention it is because you know nobody is is faultless you know we're all we're all human and we've never made a mistake or an error of this um of this kind before or nor this this magnitude but definitely it just goes to show you that that even we're still learning so we basically we just we stuffed up some communication on a potential play date and that led the other couple to feeling um you know unwanted so that's that's what happened but you know it's not it's not their fault it's definitely our fault and we kind of took that on the chin but um you know it just goes to show you that that even still now where we fuck up and we hopefully learn from it and and go from there so i think sometimes there's a a kind of viewpoint that sometimes podcasters just talk about the rainbows and candies and lollipops and everything's fine in Swingerville.
But, you know, it's not always the case, right? Where the fuck are my candies and lollipops? That's the more important thing. I ate them all. Actually, I did have some fantails earlier that you brought home from Australia. I was pretty stoked about that. Yeah, for anyone who doesn't understand fantails, you know, they're nearly as good as that you might. Fuck off. We made a huge fuck up that we shouldn't have made, but we did it and, yeah, you live and learn and hopefully we can repair the damage of the things we got wrong. That's the ultimate goal and move on from there.
That's about it, I suppose. Now, other things in this event that we did a little bit differently this time is because we had a, you know, podcast, right? So when we first went there, our podcast was only, I don't know, six months old. This time when we went there, we're obviously, you know, been podcasting for a couple of years now. So we had a table, right, with like a little fancy banner and, you know, it looked very, very swank, very professional.
And, you know, know on that table i just wanted to give a quick shout out to uber lube to asn lifestyle asn magazine and to new roomie um they actually gave us items to give away at the table which was fantastic so we had some swinging down under survival bags which kind of contained some fun stuff in there but then we also had you know some of these guys um uber lubes areops are a favourite lube that we use and, you know, just guys that are actually supporting the lifestyle, supporting podcasters and supporting community members.
So I just wanted to mention that because that kind of blew me away and I was pretty happy about the way our table was set up, even though we had to keep replenishing it every day, right? You know, the interesting thing is that we gave away a whole heap of Uberloops as one of them, but we've only ever bought it ourselves, you know. So there's no other reason for them to be helping out other than to help. I mean, certainly they're spreading the marketing exercise as well, but certainly helping out the community to a more fun and safe, sexy time. That's a good option.
Yeah, and you're right there. So we actually use UberLive at home. We've been using it for years. In fact, actually, I think we would have got four bottles upstairs right now, four unopened bottles, right? Because you bought them for the gangbang as well, yeah? Yes, I bought a bulk set that never was utilised. Yes, exactly.
And so, you know, when we reached out and we said, hey, you know, we've got a table, we'd love to get some samples and they were just um amazing and and uh people loved it actually so the reason we had to keep going back and putting more samples and and um giveaways and products and and bags and stuff on the table every day was because you would just get raided right i think one of the days we we loaded the table and within two hours one of our friends was walking past it sent us a photo and it was actually bare empty.
So, you know, that was really great to see that people were visiting the tables, you know, that people were out there kind of talking to, you know, podcasters, clubs, you know, people that host events, all of that sort of thing. I thought that was a really fun part of the event, really. The other thing, too, let's see, Dara, would it surprise you to – how much do you think this event cost us? I just want to talk about cost for a second. How much do you think it costs us? Including flights? Yeah, I've got two prices, but let's say including flights for us.
Including flights, I'm going to say between $5,000 and $6,000. Okay, you're absolutely right. So it cost us almost $6,000 US to attend Northern New Orleans this year.
Now, bear in mind, we do have international flights that make up $2,600 out of that expenses, but that's just to give you guys an understanding that the rest of that money, so out of the almost $6,000, $2,600 was for flights, but the rest of it is on things like the ticket, the hotel, the food, your drinking drinking and everything and your costumes and stuff like that so i basically went through and added up our entire cost of how much it is to to attend the event and and that's what it looks like so if you were local in the states you know you'd be spending i guess depending on your budget around about three and a half or so thousand dollars to to attend and um you know i say that because a lot of the time you know we do get feedback that people can't attend these kinds of events because they are, you know, a little bit more expensive than perhaps what they're able to achieve.
Now, for us, you know, we do save 12 months to attend something like this. You know, we're booking 12 months in advance. So we totally get it. And, you know, there are ways that you can minimize your costs on certain things. You know, if you're doing theme nights, don't go so crazy with them or go to a lot of the second-hand op shops. No, I mean, you don't even need op shops. Most of the theme nights are pretty standard, right? So it's not like – it's just because we only go once a year that we re-theme every time. Otherwise, you could just continue using stuff that you've used before.
That wouldn't be an issue. That's right, yeah. And so obviously – It's a year in between. It's not like anybody's going to remember what you had on last time unless you made a really big impact, which is a good thing. But, yeah, I don't think it's really that much of a concern. We could comfortably reuse our stuff as well. It's just that there's probably an excitement factor involved in why we buy it. Yeah, and, I mean, we haven't been back in three years, so you're damn well sure that nobody would remember our costumes from three years ago if we actually bloody fit into them. Whoa.
Well, let's not say things we can't take back. I still fit into mine. Do you? I think I might. No. No, I don't. So, yeah, I mean, it is pricey, but we do save up. We spend a year kind of booking and making all of our bookings and paying for things in advance. But, I mean, if you wanted to do it on the cheap, there are, like, parties you can get like sometimes three for one drinks, right? So you could take advantage of that and that would cut your costs down instead of, you know, drinking more expensive drinks, right? Now, we also did something a little bit fun this year as well.
You had created some body stickers for me. Oh, yeah. So I took a little bit of inspiration from a guy who does stick on art, stick on lingerie, stick on swimwear, and actually got some printed out of vinyl that's typically used for car wrappings, for paint color changes and things like that. So I managed to print a brass set and there was actually a bottom, a bikini bottom set to go with that as well. That given you had some glorious feminine issues, that became something that was unachievable. But the top worked out really nicely and you wore that around, up and down Bourbon Street.
It was a black carbon fibre style plastic that it was printed onto and it basically ended up with some major covers over the major bits and then some sprays of different triangles and stuff out from there just to give it a bit of an artsy feel. I think it came out pretty well actually. Certainly I had some feedback from other people but they thought it was pretty cool as well.
i think that might have had something to do with the with the um the person that was placed on rather than the rather than the bikini itself oh thanks babe thank you but yeah that's really it was really cool i mean it could get a lot of people really excited and interested about how we did it actually so you can check out that photo on twitter i might also put it as the cover art for this particular podcast so you can check it out if you want to have a look at what it looks like but it was pretty pretty awesome to have something i guess it's a point of difference so yeah i also take self uh self tattoos what are they called like what would you call those babe i would call them just uh stick on just tattoos just tattoos stick on water tattoos temporary there you go thank you temporary tattoos so i always take a bunch of temporary tattoos and do different art um for different days, and I put, like, stick-on jewels and stuff like that.
That's always a bit of fun, too, and people really, they love it, right? So sometimes I always even take extras, and then I'll put them on other people at an event. It's just something that you don't really think about, and then if somebody brings them, it's kind of awesome, right? All right, guys, well, that's a quick wrap-up from us from Naughty New Orleans. After the break, you're going to hear some audio from the street with Average Swingers. You're going to hear from a Wookiee. You're going to hear from a guy in a cat taco shirt.
You're going to hear from people standing at the front of Naughty New Orleans events. So stick with us for the next half an hour. We're going to play snippets of audio that we've taken from the street and share a little bit more about the Naughty New Orleans experience from other people, right? Sounds good. I'm sure it will be more exciting than what I had to offer. I'm sure it will be. All right, well, thanks. Thanks for calling in today, Daryl. We really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to call into the Swinging Down Under podcast. Thank you again.
No problem, and glorious to be invited. I'm happy to come along any other time that you might see fit to invite me. All right. Although given I wasn't that good of a guest this time, maybe I'm not suitable for this sort of work. Maybe you're not. I mean, there's probably some levels of excitement you could do throughout the next episode, but look, that's your cross to bear, so we'll figure it out. We'll do some training and hopefully you can be a little bit more excitable and interesting the next time we have you on the Swinging Network podcast. That's look, that's great.
I'm always open to coaching. All right, fantastic. Well, you have a good day then, and we'll take a break now, and we'll get back to the other segments of from Naughty 2016. How are you doing Jay? 2019. What did I say? 2016. Oh yeah, I have a time machine. You don't know that? You went a tad early. Shit, my bad. We are walking up Bourbon Street. We are on our way to the beach. Frame party for NIN 2019. How you doing Jay? What's up? I'm doing great.
I got me a hot woman beside me with her tit face down and I get the I'm trying to figure out the beach is really this way or not oh come on they make it hold for no reason let's pull over in the shade for a second I'll figure it out if we're actually on the right way I was standing here now waiting for Daryl and Angie toie to figure out if we're actually going the right way intelligent ones because we don't know i'm getting my phone out so there's 2600 fingers right now in town right 2600 here's a funny thing is a herbalife conference right now in uh new orleans as well i got a picture of them yesterday yeah so there's like a bunch of people with badges it's a bunch of girls with herbalites which is like vitamins and health supplements and you know they're all hanging out in new orleans so that's pretty pretty interesting they got badges they can't come into our party today our friend tried to get him to switch back uh thank you by the way okay welcome house to the famous store so we're going to try and interview some people here before we go into the beach foam party.
We'll be back. How do you do a cat taco, man? All right. Interview? I'm hanging out with a friend he literally has a shirt with tacos and cat head coming out of it. No, it's Kotako. I apologize. It's a romper. This is a romper. This is a burrito? Yeah, purrito. I apologize. Nice. You look amazing about this. So you're right. You're doing it right. You look fantastic. Well, thank you very much. You exquisite. Thank you. Ah, thank you, Gary. Right? Hey, thanks for talking to us. We've had to chase the act. Yeah, no problem. We found out, man. Look at the size of that microphone.
Hey, buddy, how are you guys doing? Good, how are you? How are you? I'm about it I'm good so let's go our pineapple I heard that all the gold you heard her husband wanted to steal the pineapple cup you had sitting there. Well, he wanted to hide it. That's a bad idea. All right. Who took our golden pineapple? We actually don't know that. We just wanted to add to the anger. For a minute. For a whole humor. Well, we go down there, and it's gone. And we're like, are you kidding me? Someone has a souvenir.
I was kind of hoping that it would show up on Facebook, like, here, oh, the golden pineapple here, the golden pineapple, yeah. We honestly don't care that it was stolen. No, we care. We paid for that sucker. I just mean, as long as it starts showing up places, like, we're still in the fucking dome. As long as they know Tom and Bunny, and there are Tom's trips somewhere, it's okay. All right, whoever has the pineapple, I'm sure it't happen. Right, whoever borrowed the pineapple. What are we offering for an award? Us. You got Tom and Bunny in return to the pineapple.
And if we're not their cup of tea, we'll offer Jay and Angie up. We'll take that. Well, the standards could be higher than me and Bunny, so you guys are much higher than me and Bunny. From's getting to figure out what it is. All right. So we're here with Tom Bunny from Tom's Trips. You guys have got a YouTube channel. Give me two things. What's your favorite part so far about NIN? We're on the third day. And your least favorite part. You can't use a pineapple gag. Damn it. Favorite part? Least favorite part? What's one on so far? NIN 2019, yeah. Favorite part of NIN. How do you feel about it?
Oh, parade. The parade this year was off the hook. Parade was off the hook. It was fantastic. Least favorite part is the playrooms are way too packed, and so we haven't gotten laid yet. Okay, couldn't get a bed. Couldn't get a bed. You two haven't talked. They haven't gotten laid yet. I expect you guys to take care of this. I was getting a number. Right now. I was getting a number. I was getting a number.
There's no time like now there's no time like we went to the playroom and it was standing room only all the beds are taken they need a number thing at the door for tomorrow now serving number 69 so we are looking forward to tomorrow's party three o'clock at razzuesos for the miss no swimsuit all right and you guys are from texas and she's competing from texas all right is this your best stand no no not your first one second one and what about you guys you having fun oh yeah absolutely oh yeah absolutely that's what you're going to give me oh yeah oh yeah they're very talkative aren't they now do you see why it's so hard to get laid around this place?
Yeah, give me a yee-haw. No yee-haw. You want to get laid? Oh yeah. All right, well thanks JMS for talking to us, guys. We're going to have you guys now. See you guys later. All right. Hey Chewie, what's happening, man? We're on Bebon Street. How do you feel about it? This is Chewy coming live from Naughty 2019. He's on the street. Are you a hot man? Not as hot as you. Yeah! Agreed Chewy. Give me one more Chewy for the ride. Hang on. Hang on. No, no. Kate. Wait. You've got to take a photo. Okay. Thanks, man. Hey, so this is Kate and Jay.
We are right at the front of the beach, and we are with Place Society. How are you doing? We're doing great. How are you? I'm fantastic. You guys have been lining up for a while. You waiting to get in? Yeah, we've been here about 30 minutes. It's the best party on NIN. They made us walk up and down the street. We forgot where it was. You need to let go of NIN, all right? I'm not letting go. I got a little lost. Your boobs are rather distracting. Is this your best time in NIN? No, we've been here like five times. Five times? Yes. What's different about this year, do you reckon?
I think there's more people. I like the venue. The venue last night for the Blue Bayou was really nice. The Fillmore? Yeah, the Fillmore was really nice. Have you been training seminars yet? No, I have not. Is that because it's your fifth time? You reckon you kind of have parties? Parties, and we don't wake up in time. I get it. You're partying late then. Yes. Do you like the theme nights? Are you going to go off? I really like the theme nights. Tonight's going to be our favorite, so you'll see it later. Can I get a little bit of like a, just like, give me a tease though.
What are you guys doing? Spaceballs. Oh shit. Oh, you guys are going to be great. Yes. Yes, definitely. We're doing spaceballs. Good. good all right i didn't think anybody else would think of it so that's great great minds think alike yes yes definitely do you guys have a wedding dress just question no no wedding dress so you got you guys are good to go and uh so what are you looking forward to like today's fun party this one and uh the no swimsuit contest tomorrow tomorrow yes definitely right yes all right nice like it can't wait And we'll see you next time.
like today's fun party this one and the no swimsuit contest tomorrow smart yes definitely right yes like it can't wait and where do you guys come from in the world um DC Maryland oh nice I've been there actually yeah I try to order a cappuccino and was it shitty I can heat the milk field I said really I said no honey we don't do that thanks so much for talking to us guys. Thank you. Appreciate it. Alright, so we are back with the happy hot wife J and H from Florida. Alright, thank you for joining us. Hi everybody. She is hot as hell by the way. She does have a small one.
She does have a little hot one. Yeah, she is definitely hot, no doubt about it. I am very quiet. Can't scream during sex. Every guy tries to make it happen, but it won't happen. So, is this your first naughty? No, it's actually our fourth naughty. Fourth naughty, that's crazy. And we thought we would go to the beach early and get in line early. Oh yeah, we need that too. We came early. Yeah, it's not helping. That doesn't work anymore. But apparently we needed to camp out from last night to get into the beach. Yeah. So in four years, right, you guys have probably seen a lot of changes.
Like, what's one standout change from back then to now, either within yourself and your relationship or the actual event? The size of the event has definitely changed. When we first started, we had one hotel. Yeah, definitely the size, but for us, what's been great for us is just the flexibility of knowing that we do whatever we want to do and there's no pressure. I mean, there's so many activities here.
But just every day day you just kind of go with what you feel like and it's been that way even meeting people she plays i don't so it's kind of an interesting dynamic we have a very unique it's a true hot life yeah yeah i i enjoy this well not even that so much i enjoy the social connections i used to oh we've been together for 12 years, right? So, started as a voyeur. Now it's like she meets and has her fun and comes back and tells me about it. I have good stories to tell. So now I'm really glad we met you.
Yeah, so we've kind of grown into our own individual likes and just happiness, and we share that, and it really works well. So, do you guys go to any other love desire R&M we try to go there with the group because it's a lot more fun. Alright, so it's Kate and Jay, right? These people have an actual Australian accent. I know they do. We're on Bourbon Street, we're at Naughty 2019. We are with two Tassie Devils all the way from Tasmania, Australia. How the fuck are you guys doing? Yeah, we're going great. Fabulous. It's the best, best thing ever here. Now, tell us about the flight over.
Tell us about that bullshit. Oh, so relaxing. So, so relaxing. So relaxing. Yeah. Yeah. Just sitting back for 24 hours to get here. Fantastic. Yeah, it's a very long flight, but it's so worth it when you get here. And it's your first time here, right?
First time to New Orleans, but we did a couple of crews out of la a couple of years back which we heard about new orleans met a heap of really great people and they suggested we get ourselves together and come over so we saved our pennies and here we are right have you seen any people on the cruise here yet yeah quite a few yeah a lot more than we thought we would yeah so what made you like as you say you're going to save up it's a big trip time money what made you want to come here like why why here why ned uh we've been listening to podcasts for years and everybody talking about coming in northern new orleans so we thought come and check it out yeah and we listened to um swinger cast some 20 odd years ago yes and they were talking about it there, how you stand on the balconies and lift your t-shirts off and show your boobies and it just sounded like a party town and such a fun thing to do all the time.
So has it lived up to your expectations now so far? Absolutely. Three days in and you're happy with it? Absolutely.
And we'll be saving our pennies to come back again for sure yeah we'll come back what's your favorite part so far i know we're three days in we're about to wait for the beach party because the phone party is probably what the highlight day yeah yeah it is it's one of them yeah the sex has been good sex is great yeah have you found any other partners or you just guys having crazy sex together just maybe having sex together we went to the playroom last night um but everybody's seen i don't know if we went a bit late so everybody seemed to be in their own sort of their own deal yeah their own vibe so you know but we're up for anything so i think now we've made some connections we'll probably be able to sort of you know reach out to a few more people and it's just it's hard to sort of connect because you're so busy trying to take everything in all the time as well and you really want to sort of spend time together but it's like okay now we're going to go and do that okay we don't want to miss that so yeah and sleep after the beach party you're like you want to go look yeah okay that's what i've got to get right that's where i'm failing i mean that's your famous line jayna It doesn't work very well.
Yeah, you've got to do the D stuff. So, Aussie accent, help or hinders? What do you reckon? Oh, help, for sure. Helps? Oh, it only helps. Everybody we go to, we're like, can you keep talking? Can you keep talking to us? So, yeah, that's great. Talk dirty to their ears, yeah. They'll bug you. Yeah, yeah. What would have been something you guys didn't know, but you figured it out and you wish you bought it, like an article of clothing or some sort of like... Actually, we didn't bring a lot of stuff because you can get it all here. So we packed, you know, for every party, every event.
So we, you know, put a lot of extra luggage where we could have just got it here and just gone, hey, and they cater for everything here. So definitely next time won't pack anything, just bring our normal clothes and just go shopping when we get here. Much easier. Yeah, that would be better. Yeah, it's better. But no, other than that, everything has pretty much lived up to our expectations.
I think, you know, listening to a lot of podcasts, we were kind of educated on making sure that we, you know, took as much time as we could to get into everything and enjoy everything and be prepared for everything so it was pretty much what we've expected yeah totally what's the most perverse question do you think you can ask these guys they're restrained so are you game for anal inside the beach There you go Jay, you've left out again. Keep trying, keep trying. I am not doing well.
so not I guess anything and everything it's kind of like yeah yeah because the lifestyle is just you know you can say no something doesn't, you can just roll into a different position or find something. You know, I really like the connection. I love kissing girls. I love sucking guys. I love being with my husband. Everything, you know. And if it doesn't suit you, just say, hey. I'm really concerned about the eating. We're going to go back and just say, hey. Yeah, no, I still know. I have a really small dick. I know, I know. Keep trying, I can't help you out there. I don't know, what about you?
Oh, yeah, I'm up for it, Jay, that's fine. Let's do this, all right? I didn't realise you were so small. I didn't know he was on the board. We've got to go now because I want to go fuck him in the ass. Okay, perfect. Sorry, that's five minutes with the Tassie Devils. What's one fucking takeaway you want to let him put in on the podcast? One thing, each of you. Come to Norton, New Orleans. Yeah. That's it. Thank you. Come to Norton, New Orleans. Yeah. That's it. That's where you're at. Thanks, guys. Mic drop. Thanks, guys. Awesome. Thank you. Do you fight?
Do you have arguments with disagreements? We have the balance, right? right like we i think he respects when i need some time alone and you know i i understand that we're here to go out and meet people and do our stuff and you know we we spend a lot of money to be here and build the business up so yeah let's say you rally yeah i else you rally. I do rally. Bitch. You just threw me right under the bus, seriously. Now I have to rally every time. Yes, you do. Suck it up, buttercup. I mean, it's fucking naughty. Sometimes it'd be nice. You know, there's a reason we're in this lifestyle.
Swapping partners and going doing stuff for activities is fine. Yeah, this is hilarious.
We totally swap partners for sex, but it's like, oh, we can send you two out to like do this together like no fuck that you come with me because then everybody's like i feel guilty i'm worried about you being upset you feel guilty like you're not out there helping me oh no i don't feel guilty at all i think we're mistaken don't stop it don't just shove your foot in your mouth please because i know i know hey part of what you guys are talking about it won't be good unless i get an email telling me he tells you to go ahead and then you feel guilty about going out like the other day when we were all out the um we all stayed at a house together for bbb right and you were not doing well kate and uh we were all statement of the fucking century I wanted to cut off a limb I was in that much pain but after we got back from Colette's you guys went to the the bedroom and the rest of us were all out there making it so you couldn't sleep you were fucking no only only once only two only once sorry that is for the most part everybody's out there bullshitting about drinks and all this other stuff.
But you told him to come on out, and he came out, then he felt guilty. Because, you know, it's leaving you in there. No, I'm pretty sure he only felt guilty because we made him put the thong on. Well, yeah, he looks sexy in the thong. No, I did feel, I felt I was in the wrong spot. Not guilty is not the right word, but I felt I was in the wrong spot. But again, this was Kate feeling horrible about herself and literally forcing me to go. I think there's a difference between I want to go out and have fun and, hey, I want to relax versus I'm crying in a bedroom in so much pain.
Yes, there is a difference. What I was trying to get to, though, is Angie for a long time, for years, has told me certain times to just go do that and i'll be okay and i was like my head is like going no nope nope gotta stick then like just last year finally she was like just go do that and i was like okay and i went out there what was sex our friends were in our living room they were starting to talk and she wanted me to to join. And Angie was like, it's in the morning. I want coffee. I don't want to fuck. I don't want to have sex. You go do your thing. She goes, you go do your thing.
And normally I'd be like, no, I don't want to. But I was like, all right. I just took her to work. I'd go out there and have sex. And then she comes out, she's drinking her coffee, watching three of us have sex. All right, that's kind of odd. I'm down. I kind of want to fuck now. I changed my mind. That's one thing about live porn that'll do to you, right? We've been doing this over ten years and it's, you know, took me eight years to just accept the fact that if she tells me something's okay, just... Trust that I say it's okay, that it is actually okay and that I want you to do it.
Don't be giving me the fucking nose eyes. It's a level of trust. Just to flip it, would you do the same thing, Kay, if he was not feeling well and he told you to leave and go do the thing and not feel bad about where you are? I'd probably still feel bad. Mic drop. No, please don't. They're too expensive. Don't worry. I don't own any of these. I probably would, but it would take him a few times to tell me that that's what he wanted. And I'd probably dive deep. I'd ask a few questions. Like the other day I was telling him to go do something and I said it like five times.
I can't remember what he said, but he said something back and I'm like, seriously, five times I've told you? All right, guys, welcome back and thank you so much to listening to our wrap-up of Naughty in New Orleans 2019. Really appreciate you sticking in there for some, you know, phone audio from Daryl there.

If you actually have a look on our website on the blogs area, so the Listen and Blog, Listen and Read section on the swingandandandand.com website you'll actually find a number of different blogs that we interviewed people who were on the ground at naughty and all and some for the first time ever sometimes it was their fifth or sixth time back so check out those blogs you'll hear straight from other people about their experiences what they thought what were the best things what were the not so great things you know highlights what's their favorite theme all sorts of things.
So you get to actually hear from other people on their experiences, which is, you know, I think diversity is a really, really big topic for the lifestyle. It's not all one person's opinion or one person's approach. So go and check out some of the great people that helped us write a few blogs and check that out on our website. So thank you again to all of those guys. To everybody else, cheers again, and we'll be back shortly with episode number 92. We've got quite a few topics coming up. The next one will all be about threesomes and actually some sneaky solo play in there too.
So we're going to talk to you about some recent MFM and some solo play that we've done. And to give a little teaser away, this was not me. I was not involved in this particular MFM. So tune into episode 92 and you'll catch a bit of that. And then we, of course, do have Catherine coming up to do a live therapy session with us about balance and about energy and all those sorts of things and how to be at an event. And you can translate that into house parties, events, hotel takeovers, resorts, whatever you'd like.
So a couple of great episodes coming up on the Swingin' Ananda podcast and we hope hope you enjoy that but until next time have a fantastic august and we'll be right back. Thank you.
