One hot topic at a time, episode 212. Hot Takes, bonus episode, the hot life boom, trend, evolution or opportunism. G'day Daryl. Wow, that's quite a title. I know you like it. I mean, it seems opportunistic. It does seem opportunistic. Stop use my own words against me. I don't like it. I can't help it. So this is a bonus episode. It's a bonus episode. When have we started defining how is it a bonus? People are like sitting at home going. Because of Hot Takes. Hot Takes episodes are bonus episodes. Because it's a title. Hot Takes episodes are bonus episodes. So the Hot Wife dynamic is everywhere right now. Searches are rising. Events are multiplying. Creators are rebranding. are finding their way into lifestyle spaces looking for talent so we're going to uncover is this a genuine shift in the lifestyle or is porn culture bleeding into swinging culture or is it just branding algorithms trend chasing and do i also need to start hunting spare husbands at lifestyle events and i will explain what i mean by that very shortly yes we're talking hot wives hot husbands hall passes porn studios on couples only cruises and the rise in separate played events and whether popularity is creating empowerment or So I actually started to create this episode back in November and so we've just kind of been putting it off but I do have some comments and discussions from people in our community on Reddit and across different forums. So I'm going to sprinkle some of that in as we go away. So what is hot wifing? Hot wifing is a partnered woman who has sex with other people other than her husband with her husband's or partner's consent and often encouragement. Now two quotes that kind of stood out for me from other people and this one is when I play solo I don't think of it as hot husband. just logistics but when she plays solo she feels more like a hot wife so this is couples that play separate what do you think about that yeah i mean i i think that's that's the case i'm not sure i've got much to add yeah other than to say that i think it is so hot wifing i think is more celebrated in general not just even in the lifestyle but you know it's considered unusual for a woman to cheat as well even in a monogamous relationship It's beaten up a lot less, I think, than the other way around. This person responded back and said, most husbands are interchangeable from a swinging perspective. A hot husband isn't really a thing. There isn't just a horde of women wanting to bang a guy. Well, I mean, I agree with some of that, the last bit of it, but not the first bit. Because I can say after being part of the hot wife lifestyle for some time, husbands are not interchangeable. In fact, many men are not interchangeable at all. Not only in sexual aspects, but even outside of that. I disagree with that fully. That is not absolutely not the case. No. Just fully? Just fully, yeah. Like the grown-up version of what you just said. For some perspective, we have been, what I would say, hot-wifing now for 10 years. I think our second sexual exploration was in hot-wifing, right? It was actually one of the first things that you started to look up because initially you looked up cuckolding and I remember Googling it and being like, really? And you went, oh, no, that's actually not what I mean. Yeah, I mean, that's the case. Yes. Yeah. And I am still not. Yeah. That is absolutely 100% true. Not that there's... Not at all. I mean, we don't ever have to say not that there's anything wrong with that because... Seinfeld reference. Yeah, this is always the case. But the idea for the biggest distinction for me between hot wife and cuckold is cuckold wishes to feel some level of humiliation. Can be, yeah. Or something to that accord, right? And... or a deeper bisexuality, which I have neither wish for. Yeah, and I think one of the reasons I was about to correct that is for whatever reason, cuck, you know, people use it in vanilla circles to talk down to, oh, that guy's such a cuck. Yeah, you mean like the word gay? Yeah. Well, I mean, yeah. Right. Alpha, beta, that sort of thing. Yeah, yeah. I mean, these are all words that are used by people who are not confident enough to actually be in the alpha realm. Is hot wife training, so I want to talk about the surge of events, And I also actually looked up some Google Trends. So I've got some stuff going on here. Have you noticed that Hot Wife, specific lifestyle events, historically were almost non-existent. In the U.S. there's been like one real Hot Wife event in the U.S. whereas now in 2026 there's multiple hotel takeovers specifically for Hot Wives, bar and club nights advertised as kind of hall pass. I'm confused how is this different to a regular event? Is it single guys? Yes. Okay. Hot Wife mingle nights are popping up in major U.S. cities and cuckold husband-led boutique events are popping up. up in places like vegas and miami and yes it's basically it can be two things it can be a curated group of single men or people can put it on that have their own kind of horde of single men and they vet them they come in and then hot wife couples attend that to actively just seek out single men and in the u.s especially some of these do have racial connotations to them as well they might be trying to go after black men yeah you know so they might also kind of go niche and down into that area others might just be for house parties or what have you. Now, this is another thing about what people have mentioned. They said, I've noticed a lot of husbands playing separately at parties and resorts lately, way more than even a few years ago. Okay. I mean, yeah, I suppose I haven't seen that. We haven't been to a lot of things realistically, so I'm not sure we have a good cross-section, but in the ones we've been to, I wouldn't say that it's any more obvious than it has been. Yeah. Another person commented and said, in house parties, it's very common. Clubs are still mixed. But the solo dynamic is definitely not rare anymore. So, some people are saying, yes, we've noticed a change. So, this is a shift. Well, the house parties, I think people are just probably more open to aligning what they would like. And there's enough of a group now that you can do that. As in just there's enough people in this realm. Yep. You know, the whole realm has changed. So, I've got here that swinging historically has been very couple for couple, shared room, four-way connection or chemistry or nothing. But has that changed? Right. So solo play at group events, if it's becoming more normalized, which a lot of people said it was, especially when it comes to like hall passes, MFM, and creators in the lifestyle community, they're suddenly kind of rebranding themselves as Hot Wife, Vixen, Bull Approved, Stag Vixen Couple, even if they weren't presenting themselves that way a year ago. Today, they are, because it is kind of on an upward trend. Does this mean that we'll get to not see stepmother and stepbrother shit pop up in my feed all the time now? Maybe. And it might just become this because, yeah, dynamic, the stepmother, stepbrother thing really kind of freaks me out. It is as close. It's like barely non-incestuous. It's just so barely. It's like we want to be incestuous, but we don't want to be obvious about it. Yeah. That's how it feels to me. It's just too close. Yeah, you make a good point, though, about trending and analytics because my question really to the listeners is, do you think that the label itself might be trending? trending more than the dynamic. You know, we've had some people here say that they're seeing it more often. I'm not so sure. I mean, I see events popping up for it. Don't get me wrong. Specific events, absolutely. There are more events now than there was a year, two years, three years ago, specific to the hot wife lifestyle. But do I see it out in the wild as much? I don't think so. So the label itself, I think, might be kind of on an upward trend, but the seeing more hot wife, actual real people dynamic wise, I don't know. Let's talk about Google because I do have some reference points for this. So I looked and I got the Google Trend data, because that's how much of a nerd I am. So there was a five-year stability in the term Hot Wife. And then in 2024, 2025, it doubled. So it's doubled. Okay. Yeah. So looking at the Google Trends, the graph, simple, steady for years, and then a big uptick in 2024, 2025. And actually, I have a game for you. What do you think the top five countries around the world searching Hot Wife are? So are we talking countries? So countries or regions? Okay. So the US is definitely in there. Okay. in the top five. Yeah, but then I would say it probably switches fairly quickly to something like the United Arab Emirates. Might be a guess. Yeah, probably China. No, China's no good because it's Google. You did a Google study which doesn't incorporate anything to do with China. No. I give up. That's me. Okay. Myanmar is number one. Brazil, Sri Lanka, Slovenia, Mexico. I feel like some of these Googles may be just to understand what it actually is. Oh, yeah. I just look for the term. Yeah. So, I mean, that's not respective of an uptick in... It is respective of the fact that it is going a level of mainstream. Because even if people are searching what it is, that means it's mainstream enough that people are coming across it in order to go, what is this? And search for it, right? I mean, yeah. Okay. That's the case. By the same token, though, just going back to that Google data, we could also say that everybody is currently really into tariffs. Because the term tariff has been... True. about 40 times what it was two years ago. Yeah. But again, on the flip side of that, you could argue that that's because it's now like a buzzword, right? Because people are like, what are tariffs? If you haven't previously known what a tariff is, then you would be more likely to be like, what is a fucking tariff? Yeah. Same thing with hot wifing. So yeah, it's like a buzzy, that's what I'm saying. Is it now the label has become more popular and not necessarily the actual dynamic? Yeah. So I'm going to talk about a porn company in a second, but then we are going to move on to our specific journey. And my question is, been missing opportunities because of this. So bear with me. What kind of created this episode was that in November last year, there was a porn company that went on to a couples only cruise. And they sponsored it, major sponsor. And I thought at the time that seems really like a bizarre pairing. Why would a hot wife only porn company looking for talent want to go on to a cruise ship? That seems a couples only cruise ship. They're not going to maybe necessarily see a lot of hot wife couples there. And maybe they're probably not going to get a lot of talent because people, they're not porn creators. They're just in the lifestyle. So it just seemed really interesting to me. And that's kind of how this episode was born, right? So this company goes on this cruise ship. Now, this porn company is called Wifey. They're actually a company that is like... I know Wifey. I think if anyone on SDC knows who Wifey is, because you don't have the option to turn them off. Yeah. Professionally branded kind of vixen black content studio that charges $9.95 a month, posts weekly studio shot hot wifing scenes, uses a very specific... Aesthetic? Aesthetic. Yeah. Because the anesthetic is a very different thing. And 22 out of the last 24 scenes feature black male performers. So again, they're obviously going for a very deliberate commercial aesthetic, not an organic kind of lifestyle reality. Now, I asked, why were they there? Right? That's kind of how this whole thing started. And I had a few responses. This person said, we saw them. And honestly, it felt like they were there to recruit talent, not participate. One person said it was surreal chatting with them. It was surreal chatting with them at a hall pass meet and greet after watching them on the TV. That's interesting. We'll come back. Why are they on a couples only cruise? It didn't vibe with the space at all was another person's point there and we did have actually have a friend on the cruise and they told me very specifically there were cameras everywhere, drones everywhere, production crew. It was an automatic opt-in and you had to actively seek opt-out forms to avoid being filmed basically. So everybody on that, everybody in that event was turned into a porn star whether they wanted to or not. Well there was, I think there was more social media, that was more social media content. Don't fucking care. Remind me never to go on one of those. Here's a question to you. They're there. Do you think that, by and large, the average swinger in the lifestyle would be purchasing porn from Wifey? What are your thoughts? Yes. You think people would still be? I think we're at the outer edge of porn utilisation of people in the lifestyle. So you think that most swingers would be paying a subscription for porn production? I think there's a significant proportion of swingers that would be willing to pay for porn, yes. Yeah, okay. Before I kind of add some more questions in, I just want to mention a few things that I found while I was actually doing some searching on this. I did find some concerning things that if you are thinking about performing, these are some things that I kind of uncovered when I was looking at this. The Wi-Fi corporation structure is confusing. First of all, it's actually a Czech-owned company. Second of all, they have a Delaware LLC as well under General Media Systems. They have a third of all... Of course, they've got a Delaware LLC, a place in the US where any software companies can not get taxed. Third of all, their mailing address or anything data-related, takedowns, etc., is actually in Spain. So they're a Czech company with a Delaware LLC, but with a Spanish mailing address. You've got mandatory Delaware arbitration, of course. And one of the things too is that the content creators have zero ownership of any of the content ever. So once you perform with them, you are an actress or an actor, and then that's it. If you change your mind in 12 months' time, two years' time, three years' time, whatever, you cannot ever get that content taken down. Depends on the ownership of your personal... You sign into it. You sign into it, unfortunately. You sign a contract. Yeah, but if it's a copyrighted scenario, then you can still seek a copyright release. That'd be interesting to see whether you'd have the money to win. Well, I mean, the company you've just described is very fragmented, so it's not about the money. It's about the location. Yeah. And Delaware has a very positive support, let's say. Something to be aware of, though, if you are going to do that. Like, who owns the contract? I mean, take a look at any of them. I guarantee you they're all just as fragmented. It's on purpose. It's a business that's solely reliant on other people's form and function. So I have some generational questions for you, Daryl. On the last Hot Takes episode, we spoke about whether or not younger people are just more open in general. So do you think that younger people are more open to separate play? I don't think it would even be considered separate play. I think there's an openness there in a lot of cases. It depends on where they're from and what region they're from. what country they're from, of course. But I think people are more open to just whatever goes, provided they've got that understanding going into their relationship. So you're saying they're probably not putting a label on it? Of course. Yeah. Interesting. All right. I mean, the sexual orientation, the sexual exploration has become significantly more common generationally versus my parents, their parents moving down. So as we less and less are reliant on Great Britain's original legal structure. It's changed things. By the way, did you know Australia is number one in the world for number of sexual partners? I think you sent me that the other day, actually. Yeah, number one in the world. It's really interesting. I didn't realize that. Quantity of sexual partners on average. In your lifetime, right? Yeah, it's 13 or 17. It was something like that. 13 or 17 in Australia. I'll have to try and look that up and bring it up in an episode. I think that's pretty funny. It's a long way away from the nearest second as well. And we will talk about that in an episode because then I want to Even though people are more happy to have multiple partners in their lifetime, I bet you that stuff does not translate to non-monogamy because the amount of hate I get. Yeah. So they're happy to have partner. Yeah, single and get fucking around is very different to a long-term relationship. All right. Do you think when couples are watching this highly curated porn that is specific to hot wifing that they might start having conversations about potentially going into that dynamic? I mean yes okay that's exactly how we ended up in swinging I know do you think then that they might be pushed into conversations they're perhaps not ready for or don't necessarily then realize the reality reality of it of course yeah because here's a shocker here's a little shocking moment for everybody hot wifing encounters is not always this beautiful man with a perfect direction and porn star stamina I know that sounds extremely weird to you holy shit I fell off my chair and we're back to the fact that husbands are not interchangeable. Right. For exactly these reasons. For exactly these reasons. Speaking of interchangeable husbands, let's talk about our hot wife and Joni and have we been missing out. So in all of this discussion with people online about what originated from a porn company on a couples and a cruise ship, it turned into something very different. So we've been in hot wife space, as I mentioned, for about 10 years. It was one of our first few encounters. Without us, we do not typically hunt at couples events for separate play. So we assume separate play men. We don't typically, yeah. We assume. We don't expect it either. Like we don't expect that it'll be there. Exactly. We assume separate play men are rare in couple dynamics. Which they generally are. Right. We assume couple centric events aren't the place for solo dynamics. Which they generally aren't. No experience. Sweet. So are we making a mistake? Are we missing opportunities? Here's what a few people had to say. I was actually floored, which again was the whole point of this episode. We're a hot husband couple and people are always shocked. It's more common than you think. And they go on, this is all people that go to couples only events. We've been experimenting with same roof, separate play at resorts because it's so rare that a four-way match. My husband gets invited as a third all the time and he has multiple solo dates. Hang on, but sorry, let's, you've just added something to the front end of that that has nothing to do with the hot wife, or hot husband scenario. The four-way... Separate play. Separate play is separate. That's just separate play. That's not either of these things. Hot wife or hot husband. My husband gets invited as a third all the time. He has multiple solo dates. I got picked up in under a minute by a hot wife once I made myself available. And on this particular couples on the cruise ship, there were people who like MFM's little meet and greet. It was actual specific meet and greet. We've been to a dozen desire cruises. We've never seen this dynamic there. If it exists, it be very well hidden which is kind of what we thought on bliss this year there were tons of hall pass men they are everywhere bars pool decks hall pass meet and greets yeah okay i got you on this but this is not hot wife or hot husband what you've just described is hall pass men hall pass men are not something that the other person is is gleaning any joy from it's just that the wife is potentially unwell uninterested or right but but we're getting something out of it potentially as a couple who does ms Okay, so very simple question, though, for you. If you see a man at an event on a hall pass and you don't get to talk to his wife, would that even be a remote indication for you that there's a potential problem? Which, yes, it would be. Which is exactly why we're not missing anything. So that was a question, like, have we underestimated how popular or how common this separate play for them, separate play for them, but maybe a third hot wife, hot wife person for us, is at these couples, centric events and clubs etc because we never look for it so hang on you wouldn't walk up to a couple and say hey i'm interested in you me and my husband let's go shag to the to the guy just as we wouldn't do that to the girl if they're standing there as a couple oh you mean like tell the like hey we're interested in playing with you as a single yeah you wouldn't do that you wouldn't be able to your moral compass would not allow that because you would see that as you disrespecting the woman right so my question was and this is where the hot take stuff to debated was was should we and I start hunting at these couples events and I want to talk about it because I think this bleeds into the reason we're in the hot wife space and who we look for in the hot wife space at first I was like maybe we should because we're missing opportunities but now the more I think about it I think maybe we shouldn't and here's a few reasons why stick with me we meet this couple we meet this couple right and say he's at the whole pass meet and greet and I don't know argument's sake we believe him he's there he has a whole pass There are certain elements with a person who has a partner, whether that's on a cruise ship, at a club, or if we find a person on a dating site who's also married, elements that has to be discussed differently than if I saw a single guy. As an example, partnered person, argument's sake, we went on a date, he pays. It's a large sum of money for dinner and drinks or whatever. Oh my god, well overthought. If he decides to pay, he decides to pay. That's up to him. That's their relationship. It's not your relationship to think about. But he would have to consider her in that, so that might limit where we go, what we do, etc. Question, have you ever been with a single guy who's actually single? Out of all the single guys you've played with, none of them have any other partners? Oh, you're saying like, if they're fucking other people on the side. Yeah, of course. Not on the side. You are on the side. You are literally the side. For all of these guys, you haven't had a monogamous relationship with a single guy outside of our relationship. I'm not saying people who have a long-term partner. You're talking about people that are just dating as well. It's not. It is exactly. Okay, yes. Let's just step back a little bit here and say, have you had a single guy in your journey where you've had to think about the children? Okay, so yes is the answer. Yeah, and it's not desirable is what I'm saying. So my point is that a married or partnered guy is very different to a single guy because he has to consider his partner and very well should consider his partner. There is time differences. What time can he go out with me? When can he go out? Of course, no, I understand all of that. Yes, that is the case, but that is no different to a single guy because they're not single. They're generally fucking other people, which means if you say, if you give him a call and say, hey, let's catch up Friday and he says, I can't, I've got another date or I'm hanging out with friends. You don't see the difference. I don't see a difference, no. Because there's two things that factor into that. The first one is, do they have the money to do that? That's one thing. This is a standard consideration for anyone. The second one is, do they have the money to go on the next date with somebody else? That may be their wife, but it may not be. It may be just somebody else. Yeah, that's a very, that's a valid consideration. But I still personally do think there's a vast difference between, and also. This wouldn't be the first time we disagree. No, but think about another bedroom, right? A single guy can realistically make his own decisions on what him and I can do together without really any discussion with anybody else. Now, obviously, if we go non-barriered play, he might have to then have a conversation with his other play partners, whatever. But most of the time, he can do anal, whatever he wants to, like that is kind of free range him. Whereas a partnered person, think female or male, might have to take into consideration the boundaries and architecture of their own relationship. so they can't do that with me yes there's a again it's a very small group of things that people might have a problem with in that particular instance if you've already made the decision to go and play singularly then there's an awful lot of scope for you to be able to do a lot of things that are already on that list that you're talking about the vast majority I would say outside of a few things that are on the upper boundaries I want to ask you a question actually do you think if you were to look at kind of the stereotypes Typical Architecture of a husband who's playing solo and that of a single man. What do you think generally about their physical differences, if any? I'm going to ask you to be more specific after I answer the question. I don't think there is any significant physical difference, provided not in the people that we would be interested. No, you can't preface that. So you've got to say the average, average husband who's in maybe we'll say the lifestyle just because we'll say the average. I still don't think there's much of a difference. You don't think there's any Any physical difference between a single guy out who is shagging on the weekends, having multiple dates? See, what you're factoring in there, I think, is age. Because a single man in their 40s and 50s is not doing what you've just defined. They're not going out during the week and out on every weekend and they're not doing that. That's just not realistic. I don't see a vast difference between the two. There are exceptions and the exceptions would be on the single man side, I would generally say. So generally, if there is an exception in terms of their, more fit, it would likely be on the single guy side for one simple reason. Time. Yeah. That's what I was going to say. I actually would argue that by and large, single men would be in a better, healthier, fitter shape than the average husband, father, et cetera. And it's time-based. I don't think it's just time. A lot to do with it, sure. It's not completely it, but a lot to do with it because it is. They're working. They have their partner, quality time with their partner. Maybe they've got children. I think the bigger thing is that it's just advertising. It's marketing, right? The first thing any couple does, male or female, when a marriage, long-term relationship falls apart, marriage or whatever, they go to the gym. They get fit. They lose weight. Why is that? Because they want to look their best for the new person. Nobody gives a fuck about looking their best for the current person. That's the truth. Yeah, that's a hard reality, yeah. People keep themselves in order in the lifestyle, not because they want to keep themselves in order for their partner. It's generally because they're doing that to make sure that they're attractive to other people. Yeah. Okay. So I guess rounding this up then, taking away, you think that I have a moral issue with this, but taking that away, do you think we should start hunting for potential hall pass men at couples events and clubs, et cetera? It makes no sense. Why would you do that at a place where it's even less potential of being a thing? Do you agree with me that most people in the hot wife lifestyle, you mentioned age there, in particular reference to like body shape. Do you think that most people in the hot wife lifestyle would be chasing perhaps a younger person to partner with because they might be fitter and have a generally more acceptable sexier physique? Generally, yes. Very broad generalization. Yeah, of course. Yep. Okay. So to that regard then, really, why would you want to look for somebody who is in a coupled relationship? We've just spoken about time potentially being an issue. I wouldn't. That wasn't. I'm asking the broader person. So time potentially being an issue, financial potentially being an issue, like schedules, managing all of that. Can't do it today because my kids have soccer. Okay, well, I don't want a guy who has to worry about his kids having a soccer on a Saturday. I need to pull you up on something. We've been living in Europe now for five years. You can't call it soccer anymore. It's football, for the love of God. Football. I don't know. I mean, the answer is no. That's in fact, the point of my statement previously is that why would we go looking in these events? It doesn't make sense. Okay. And I would make that statement for any other couple. If you're not looking in the space where it's more likely you find people, the other end of this example is saying, let's go to a vanilla event and see if we can find couples who are swingers. It's the same thing. It's just, it's ridiculous. If you're looking for people in a particular vein, then go and find them in the spaces they exist. Why would you go? You don't go hunting for elephants in Australia because there aren't any except in zoos. It's just lunacy to think that that's the smart way. way to go to a hot wife event specifically if you want to be in a big pool not physically in a pool but have a pool of people around you that might suit that dynamic would be to go to a hot wife event yes and then try and find one that doesn't have the interracial dynamic and you've you've managed to find something because in my experience they are all interracial and again this is obviously being drawn on from a group of people that are interested in that. I just don't like the idea that people are being, you know, sectioned off like cattle because they have a different color skin to the other person. I have an issue with that. And I can't guarantee at any of these events that that isn't the case. That's the reason that I don't find them appealing. I don't care what you're into. I mean, and we're into this as well, but it's not the color of the skin that changes the fact that we're interested in somebody. So a couple more things from the forum. So one person said, we play separately all the time. It's just part of our dynamic. Another person said, hot wife is more of a trend than reality. Some guys will call their wife a hot wife because she used a dildo for the first time, which was a really strange one. I just wanted to include that because that just... Yeah, some people need to read a book if that's what they're considering a hot wife. Although I think, again, the idea here of what this means to us versus what it means to others. I mean, it's just a conjunction of two words, hot and wife. So if you've got an attractive wife, you may think that hot wife is a descriptor for her. Yep. There's no rise in popularity. When you're doing something, you just notice others doing it. Hot wife has been around forever. People only notice it now because of the creators. Kind of like if you buy a new keyer and then you're seeing keyer on the road everywhere kind of thing. By the way, there's actually a study on that and that is the case. I know it is the case, yeah. One study on that. Psychology is real. Science. You know how I did those architecture types on the people who don't get laid episode and i kind of gave you like oh the constant talker and stuff in the episode i made them for this you ready the real hot wives so mfms they the partner genuinely supports that these couples are sexually empowered and communicative they exist but they're not the majority of course the vibe only hot wives so love lingerie flirting attention not actually playing label as aspirational more attention based and hot wifing is a vibe not a dynamic right we had a friend many years ago remember she kept telling us that she would like go on the apps and start talking to all these guys like 20 guys get all the compliments and then like block them yeah that's not any of these things that's just an asshat and then the content farm hot wives so doing it for the fans not for the lifestyle steens scenes of stage a lot of bbc branding dynamic is algorithm driven and barely connect with the real life hot wife culture i'm interested in what you define as the hot wifing dynamic i believe the hot wifing dynamic to be a lady who goes and plays separately or has threesomes with their partner is an is encouraged by her partner and that her partner is also getting something out of that exchange whether it be through physically being involved or through content photos getting videos from that interaction seeing the text messages from that interaction having something coming home being engaged after the fact or during the event what have you and getting some level of satisfaction from that. Okay so I mean it's not just about the woman I think is the point that I was trying to make here because you've defined a lot of things here in here that are about just what the woman gets out of this or the hot wife or hot husband, I would imagine. But for it to be, in my mind, actually hot wife or hot husband, it's not just about the individual who's potentially having that sexual encounter. It's about the other person who enjoys, encourages, sometimes hunts on their behalf. Certainly in our relationship, that is absolutely the case. Would you say if it's void of those things, you would just say it's just playing separately? Yes. I mean, if the other person is not excited, this is not, I don't believe it's a hot wife scenario because it should be that the other person is also is gleaning something from this. So what do you guys think? Is the hot wife boom authentic evolution or is porn and social media bending the lifestyle around for its latest keyword? Yeah, that's it for hot takes. Next, we're going to debate AI in the lifestyle space. Is it unethical? for couples or singles to use it on their profiles or for event host clubs and resorts to use AI generated promo content. Because as we spoke in our last episode, we got rejected from a club and we jest and we joked about using AI photos and reapplying. So we're going to debate whether or not AI is unethical or not. So drop us an email, email at wanderlustswingers.com and check the show notes for all the behind the scenes updates and everything we've got going on. Okay. Are we going to include, you know, the environmental footprint of AI as well? Well, in terms of what it generates and what. What do you mean environmental footprint? Are you serious? I'm dead serious. So you don't realize that every time you use AI, it goes to a computer farm, a server farm somewhere that has a whole lot of graphic processing units, GPUs that all use a shit ton of electricity to actually generate the output that you get back. Yeah. I mean, it wouldn't just be like using Google. No. Then yes, we will be talking about the environmental impact. It is nothing like using Google. It is a totally separate. And in fact, turning off the AI responses on Google will lower your carbon footprint for those who care. It is a significant use of energy right now. In fact, it's estimated for it to reach proper maturity in the US, you're going to need to double or triple the electrical consumption. For real? Yeah, it's massive. And yeah, we will be mentioning that in the AI episode, babe, because I didn't know that it was any worse than using Google to search something. Yeah, I'll just give you a podcast. You can listen to it. Oh, is it Stuff You Should Know? Science Versus? Yeah. Yeah. Science Versus. Shameless plug. Shameless plug. We don't get any money from these guys. But Stuff You Should Know. Science Versus, bloody good podcast. It is. I agree. Really interesting topics. And you can learn about- They do Science Versus orgasms. Squirting is going to be released this year. Squirting. Okay, great. Science Versus squirting. Really looking forward to that one. Hormones, they did one on. Erectile dysfunction or erections in general. Yeah. And- And a whole lot of other stuff that has nothing to do with sex as well. Yeah. But they do some interesting ones on even the male G-spot and the G-spot in general, which was very interesting. You haven't listened to that one, but you should because the G-spot's a fallacy. Bam, I said it. Yeah, they also did one on creatine. They do good stuff anyway. Science versus Tim. We've just given them a huge plug. Yeah, massive plug. Go listen to Science versus. Fairly sure they'll never give us a plug. Carve it out. Carve it out. Hot takes episode. Wifey, what's your final thoughts that you want to add to this episode? Has anything changed? What are you seeing as somebody who is not as involved in lifestyle events? You've had a lot of trouble with words today. I don't think it's changed in many ways with the exception of the fact that there's some sponsorship going on different platforms at the moment that are quite obviously shoving this into the lifestyle's face. So you mentioned Wifey. The only reason I know about them is that it's consistent advertising on different platforms that we use. And in some cases, things that you can't turn off, which is really, really annoying. So that's one thing. I think there's some companies out there with enough money at the moment to be pushing this, and that's making it a little more obvious. But in terms of the actual change in the lifestyle, I don't see anything. I think it's still the same. I think it's always been the same realm of people. Certainly, we're able to communicate it a little faster now, given the World Wide Web being something that is more obviously available. this sort of thing. Hence, parties are more available. You see them more regularly. I don't see any real difference at all in my world. Yeah. It's not like when you're living it every weekend or whatever. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's very rare that we're involved in the hot wifing scene. And when we are, it's generally a single guy that we've found somewhere. We don't go to events, hot wifing events. Yeah, I understand events. We've never been to any event that's focused just on hot wifing. Yeah. Again, you looked one up a little while ago. It was here somewhere in EU, actually. But again, it was very, very, geared towards fetishization. So I think we gave that one a miss. Yeah, I mean, yes, there was one that... Hold on a second. They've got the gigolos night at Fun for Two. So how would you classify that specific event? It's a gigolos event. That is a hot wifing event, but it's also... You also refuse that because of the fetishization of the BBC. Yeah. The only thing you see in the hot wife space in terms of marketing is around interracial stuff. And again, coming back to... the skin colour does not define somebody we're interested in. It's just a matter of we don't like people being stereotyped and fetishised because it's simply not the case. I cannot find anything that doesn't fit into that context right now. Everything in Europe that I can find is about BBC. Rightio, that has been a Hot Takes episode. So we'll see you on the next podcast episode. We're actually going to talk about our 10-year journey in the lifestyle. So we're going to talk about whether or not it's changed, we've changed, our dynamic has changed. I thought we did that already, no? No, it's been on the board since July last year. Fairly sure we went through this. No, it's been on the board since July last year. I just haven't actually sat down and thought about like different things I want to talk about. Because I originally thought I want to pull clips from our early episodes and then I thought, fuck that, that's way too much. That's too difficult. Maybe you could use the environmentally destroying AI to help you with that. Probably can. Right. Thanks for joining. No problem. If you're listening to this or transcribing it through some form of AI system, shame on you for single-handedly ruining the environment. Exactly. You just ate a whale. Next up, shark steak. Penguin belts. Wow. This is a really sad way to end an episode. Bye. Bye, guys.
