Desire Mexico First Impressions – P28.1

Speaker1: this is c and this is d and this is swinging down under and we're out and about we are we were out and about last week as well we didn't get to podcast last week we kind of have we kind of have we just haven't we just haven't edited either of them yet but it's fine so we are currently actually we've just arrived in our room at desire in riviera well it's desire riviera Maya in Mexico. And... Si, senor. Right now. I think you're going to be saying a lot of si, senor and si, senora. Because that's all I know. After they satisfy you. Oh, really? Yeah. Well, no. No, I don't think so. But maybe. Maybe not. Sure. So just a quick recap. We got here about two hours ago. Oh, at like 2 p.m. So yeah, an hour and a bit. Yeah, so just over an hour. Our room wasn't ready. We were here a little early, so we were okay with that. But we went to the bar. Unfortunately, I'd made the stupid decision to wear jeans here when it's summer and really hot. Well, the plane was cold. The plane was very cold. But, so, our quick first impressions. Well, Mario. Mario, we're going to call you out. He's our concierge. And was awesome. He was great. Really nice guy. He was hilarious, actually. He was hilarious. He pulled the piss out of us a few times. And for all our new friends from Naughty in New Orleans, you now know what pull the piss means. Yeah. He was great. Really nice guy. He was hilarious, actually. He was hilarious. Speaker1: He was inviting himself to massages. He was.
Speaker2: Hilarious. Yeah. Yep.
Speaker1: And then we quickly, we decided to have something to eat because we hadn't really eaten. Went to the... The buffet.
Speaker2: The buffet.
Speaker1: I can't remember the name. There's a restaurant. Can't remember the name of it. But it's the one that's open 24-7, I think. I would have to refer back to the information Mario has provided us. Anyway, and we then met George, who was... George. Sorry, George, excuse me, who was our drinks waiter. Yep. Who was... Also fantastic. Also fantastic. Really, really good service so far. And then we both sat there and just kind of slid off our chairs as we well i didn't do that you you did that i i had something hitting the underside of the table maybe right okay okay um i mean first impressions let's just i mean this is a snapshot. First impressions? Well, fuck me.

Speaker1: What's that show called with the... Oh, yeah, the movie. I can't think of it. Oh, my God, we were just talking about it. Anyway, there's a movie where... Oh, Date Night. Yeah, Date Night. And we're sitting there and we're seeing all these amazing people. And then Dee just goes, For the love of God, will you please put on a shirt because there was like what six actually i counted eight eight guys eight guys six girls all uh with beautiful rigs uh-huh beautiful rigs i'm gonna throw out a a curious couple and also um ellie and ellie and ellie fromie Swingers. Sorry, Swinging Down Under is us. Aussie Swingers. Yeah, there were some really good rigs out there, right? There was, yeah. Wow. So we're looking forward to an extraordinary event here. We're here for the next five days. And the room is amazing. I'm actually quite impressed. I'm quite impressed because I was, you know, I know i mean you never know you come to these resorts and you're just not sure what you're going to get right yeah and impressions i mean it's great yeah it is really nice it is really nice the room is fantastic it's clean the bed looks good the bathroom is great we've got you know i don't know we've got poles we've got poles in our room to tie people to. A little bit, yeah. So, yeah. Oh, and the water is amazing. And the little cabanas on the beach are fantastic. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Because we're newbies here. It's our first time around. They gave us a tour around. We got some advice from Ali and Elle from Aussie Swingers because they've been a few times. They told us a couple of rooms. Unfortunately are already booked so we stuck with the room Mario did tell us that he's our man he knows people he does so he's going to try and pull some strings maybe during the week while we're here maybe he'll just move their luggage at midnight or maybe we'll just get to know the people in those rooms and move them out after they pass out. Anything's possible. It is. We'll talk again. Maybe. I mean, I'm going to say maybe. That's true. First impressions, really, really happy we came. Really happy. Yeah. So at this point, it is a decided maybe as to whether we talk to you people again during this event or at the end of it when we get home hungover angry and wanting to come back true reality will set in absolutely thanks for listening bye
