Who Viewed Me Feature PREVIEW

<p><strong>Update 6.9.16</strong></p>

<p>Dear Members,</p>

<p>We&rsquo;ve been working on an update to address the issue with the profiles being periodically <strong>removed from the Who Viewed Me list</strong>.</p>

<p>The update has been applied and we believe it should resolve this issue for most members.</p>

<p>If you were affected (your Views list was previously automatically reset) and currently have the Who Viewed Me feature enabled, the following should happen:</p>

<p><strong>- Previous views which were removed from your list should be restored (this data is being backed up during the Preview period in case of accidental deletion).</strong></p>

<p><strong>- Views should no longer be automatically reset / removed throughout the day.</strong></p>

<p>Please post here if you continue to experience this or any other issues with the Who Viewed Me feature - CustomerService and TechSupport will not be able to provide assistance during this Preview.</p>

<p>We'd like to thank everyone for your overwhelmingly positive and constructive feedback.</p>

<p>Below are some of the most frequently asked questions along with answers.</p>

<p><strong>--- Support ---</strong></p>

<p><strong>If your <em>Who Viewed Me</em> setting appears to turn off automatically / when you log in</strong>, please let us know which device (phone or computer) as well as which browser and operating system you are using. Also, do you experience the same issue when using a different browser? Please post these and other relevant information here. In order to provide assistance, we need to know the configuration where the issue is being experienced.</p>

<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> If using Internet Explorer, please ensure that the browser is set to load a new copy of each page every time it's visited.</p>

<p>a. In IE, go to the Tools menu > Internet Options > Settings Button > Select "Every time I visit the webpage" then click OK. This setting should be enabled before enabling or disabling Views in IE.</p>

<p>b. Microsoft Edge browser should not be used to Enable or Disable Views at this time.</p>

<p><strong>--- FAQ and Answers ---</strong></p>

<p>1. Does the Flyover (hovering over a profile) count as a View?<br />
Answer: No</p>

<p>2. If I Disable Views, will other members still see that I viewed their profiles in the past?<br />
Answer: Yes. Your profile is not deleted from other member's Views list if you disable the Views feature. However, new visits to profiles are not recorded / displayed while the Who Viewed Me feature is disabled.</p>

<p>3. How can I Opt out / Disable Views?<br />
Answer: Views can be Disabled and Re-Enabled by clicking the Settings (Gear) icon at the top right of the Who Viewed Me section.</p>

<p>4. How can I increase my profile Views?<br />
Answer: The <a href="https://www.swinglifestyle.com/forums/Successful_Swinging/Better_Profiles/forumid_1118/viewforum.cfm" target="_blank">Better Profiles forum</a> has a wealth of great ideas from other members on how to improve profiles to make them (and you) more interesting to members. Check it out.</p>

<p>5. If I view a profile 100 times during a 7 day period, how many times will my profile be listed on their Views list?<br />
Answer: 1. Repeated views from the same profile over a 7 day period will show only the original view on the list.</p>

<p>6. What's the default order for profiles listed?<br />
Answer: On the Home and View More pages, profiles are listed in the order (most recent views with profile pics first). The View More page will also include an option to sort / view profiles by the most recent whether or not the profile has a picture as well as by distance when it's completed.</p>

We love this feature however we would love to see the date and time of the views to our profile. If this option is available now we have not found it if it is not available can it be added?

Ever since this feature was added every time we refresh the homepage we get a page which reads
We're sorry it appears the web page your trying to access is having problems

Usually takes 4-5 attempts to get Homepage to return, if this is the trade off for the who viewed me feature please get rid of it, this is extremely irritating

Having the same problems many others have reported and not at all happy about it. We have been here for years and recently let our membership expire but when we saw this feature we renewed for another year now it does not work. Yesterday every time we logged in it said views disabled now it deletes the last view and only shows one at a time or none .I even had a friend view our profile and nothing came up.
When we renewed our membership there was a lot of views listed now that I have paid they are all gone........so I cant do what I paid to do .....see who viewed our profile in the past.
I am using internet explorer on a Nextbook (windows os) and android on my phone.

Can we add a "like, poke or flirt" option.

I love this feature, however every time I log back in it says that My Views are disabled. I would like it on all the time and have never disabled it. Please tell me how to have this stop shutting off.

It's cool, love it, however, wish there was a date/time stamp so you can see how recently. ..can't tell if someone viewed us today or a week ago

Suggestion for the disable function for views:

1. Why does it disable the whole functionality of notifications on who views you?
2. It should only disable letting someone not see that you are viewing them. However, if they don't use that function, then I should be able to see who is viewing me.
3. Rational: being a single female who receives email, I would like to view their profiles without knowledge. That prevents me from receiving future emails from those I am not interested in or receive unwanted comments because they know I viewed them.
4. Also, adding "how many minutes ago they viewed" under the thumbnail would help. I don't want to go look at a profile who has viewed me days ago.
5. Adding a tab to the left hand of screen instead of it being on home page. To cluttered and not easily found with the new matches and random matches
6. And you should be able to disable under your security settings, which should also be on a tab on left side of screen vs my account or should be combined under my account

When we first logged in, we could see the last 200 people that viewed our profile. Then, they all disappeared.. Now it only shows the most recent viewer, and when the next one comes up, the previous viewer is deleted.. Occasionally it says, "no one has viewed your profile since enabling this option" we never disabled it in the first place.. Thoughts?!?!

Just for reference, working on a laptop and 6 of the last 8 profiles that I have on the main page that have viewed me have single males blocked and I can't see.. 6 of 8 profiles that have viewed me I can see... WTF?

SLSQuality QUESTION (Please fix or add to FAQ): Why do I keep seeing profiles that have viewed me, yet when I click on their profile it says single males blocked? Why is this possible? Thank you. I really dislike the notion that people are viewing me and I cannot see who these same people.

Great new feature! I'd suggest adding the date that your profile was viewed too. But still thrilled y'all finally did it.

We really like the feature. Most talk from our group members is positive. Today 05/26/16 0900 no who viewed me showed on my home page?

Seeing the same thing as nynjbiwfemme - prior views are clearing every time we log in. There may be one or two remaining from prior session but the others are gone.

This is happening on PC as well as phone (android 6.01)

Is there a way to have something on the who viewed me part that allows the person to rate the person, which allows you gauge viewer interest?

We really like the new feature "Who Viewed Me" ! Very useful !

Bring back the view counter!! Great gauge of how many total folks have taken a look...

What is the number in the bottom right corner ? Is that how many times that person viewed my profile ?

Hi guys, i really like this feature. However I'm wondering if I could get more information out of it. In certain circumstances I'd like to know what time, or at least what day my profile was viewed.
Any chance that function could be as added feature?

A date of last view and a total view count on each profile would be very helpful to gauge interest or stalking.

It is certainly differebt. Very cool to see all the views and whether your profile or pictures are drawing others in. That's definitely a good thing. I think it was a very good idea.

What does the number in the little box at the lower left of a profile icon on the home page mean? Also, is ti possible to add a time-stamp to the who viewed me so you can tell when someone viewed you?
