Website S-L-O-W to Load?

I've found it always loads faster on my mobile devices than it does on my desktops.

Is anyone having problems with the website today I can't seem to load it at all

We have had the same problem on and off for the past 2 weeks.

Even when we can login, many times (for months now) none of the photos/graphics come up. Browser refresh? Nothing. New browser/computer, etc? Nothing.

Getting the feeling the speed of technology has surpassed the owners of this site. I would normally never make a public statement like that if said website owners were actually open to and responsive to emails, and read and took to heart threads like this. But they haven't been, and they don't. So there it is.

Feels a lot more like they're gradually downgrading the online experience to push users to the app. It's been a pretty consistent pattern when you look back at the changes we've endured.

Sad.............but true

Staff will get around to improving the site access speed once they are done implementing all the features none of their members wanted.

It’s got so many issues that the preview icon on my Chrome home page is now called “An Error Has Occurred...”

RonKathy I haven't tried the app but I use Google search on my phone. Seems to be ok with no crashing that way. I think the speed might be a little better today. Hope you had a great weekend.

Site was slow & froze up at times yesterday. Working better today. We use a laptop from home. Don't have the mobile app on our phones.

I was wondering the same thing. All of my devices are slow to load and my cell phone actually times out. It started Saturday October 19th for me

Funny thing is;
No other Swing website has these issues like SLS does.

site was down more then it was up yesterday, at first thought it was just us. and today it has struggled to stay up and running...just goes in line with the wonderful changes they have made recently...has anyone had any better luck with other sites? thinking of trying elsewhere?

This isn't a new problem. This issue has cropped up regularly over the last year or more. Of all the (quote/unquote) improvements made to this site, fixing these long in issues would be the most welcome by far......

Yes so very annoying. App is also hit and miss, not that I like it much

I thought this was maybe specific to my computer so I logged on with a different one. Same issue; slow to get on, lagging, sometimes the messages will not load. Tried this on my phone, and my wife's phone both on our WiFi and on just cell service and it's the exact same issue. Also using these same devices, zero of the same issues for other websites.

Just us or is this a 'thing'?
