I have no problems with the operation of this website. It is what it is. If I could have a magic wish list the first, and maybe only, thing on it would to be to voice verify both parties in photos that they are aware that their pics are being used and what the nature of the site is. As far as that site that begins with K goes; that site fails to comply with the most basic web accessibility guidelines. But, that is an issue for their lawyers to comtemplate.
upgrades desperately needed
Wayne, cmon now. They have an unlimited 1 time membership for $99.95. Thats what we paid last week. But you have to admit, their site looks way better than SLS
“You should be able to do that now. If you view their profile and select either of the "Messages" buttonsit will show you your mail history with that member.”
Wayne, it seems that messages after a year disappear, which is unfortunate especially when you’ve already told that party no interest.

<p>The K site that I am looking at is $129.95 for a one year membership, which is more expensive than our price. I think you may be looking at a 3rd party website that has the wrong prices.</p>
<p>We also offer the Unlimited membership which is a great deal for anyone planning on using the site for at least 2 years or more.</p>
Are there any plans to get more granular with searches or blocking? I’d love to be able to block say, straight single men, while leaving bi or bi-curious singles unblocked.
The gender, sexuality and relationship status categories are also stuck in the late 90s. I would identify as pansexual or demisexual if that option was available. I’m sure new users much younger than I am must feel like they’re traveling back in time.

Wayne you posted
I only know of one 'k' site, but maybe there are others. The policy of the site is no advertising
Well it appears that the advertising takes a higher priority on here. When the web site turns to crap the Bliss Cruises are still advertised with no issues.
That K site is only 29.95 for a year compared to 99.95 here. Where is the priority? Money for the owners or functionality for the customers/users
We'd like to see some sort of a link from a profile to whatever messages we may have had with them.
Like the tab we had in the old days of the mail system before the upgrade.
Just having fun with you. Most businesses know who their competitors are- I knew who mine were.
We even socialized with each other- sometimes at meetings, sometimes at weddings, sometimes at funerals, sometimes on hunting/fishing trips. If any of us ever wanted to eliminate the competition, we had our opportunities. Falling overboard and accidental discharges happen...

<p>I only know of one 'k' site, but maybe there are others. The policy of the site is no advertising, but if any of you want me or someone else at SLS to check out another site, you can name it. But for the most part, we do already know what other sites are doing. And just because they do it, doesn't mean it is something good to do or something we want to do. </p>
You pulled up a site whose name wasn't mentioned?
Impressive mind reading skills ya got there.
<p>"<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family:open sans,sans-serif; font-size:14px">I am sure you guys have dual monitors. Pull up theres and yours and just look at them. It's not hard to see the difference."</span></p>
<p><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family:open sans,sans-serif; font-size:14px">I did and our site looks way better.</span></p>
<p><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family:open sans,sans-serif; font-size:14px">"Kind of like the difference between a corvette and a hyundia."</span></p>
<p><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family:open sans,sans-serif; font-size:14px">I drive a Hyundai. :)</span></p>
Oh, I am sure they are fully aware of the competition but choose not to spend the money to upgrade SLS to a more user-friendly site.
Wayne
Out of respect, I didn't name the site, but it starts with a "K". You should be able to figure it out from there. I am sure you guys have dual monitors. Pull up theres and yours and just look at them. It's not hard to see the difference.
wayne,
without naming the site...yes
- the mailbox accurately reflects that there is mail. SLS is hit or his on this one
- The photo manager allows me to view my photos without me having to grant access to myself to see photos (this is quite annoying)
- A questionaire that has way more selections to define ones participation in the lifestyle with a 0 to 5 rating system for each characteristic
- The "Flirt" function mentioned by another member
- A site that isn't routinely down for maintenance
- also in photos, I upload directly to the location i want them, no need for the assign/unassign thing SLS makes you do
7, Overall look and feel of the site is more appealing
I mean SLS is OK, but if I had to chose between thr two as a new to the lifestyle person, the other one would be my first choice on looks alone. Kind of like the difference between a corvette and a hyundia. The both get you to where you wanna go, but one is a lot more fun to drive
Wayne, i think the examples are more along the lines of having a quick reference to what they are looking for. For instance, "hotwife", "gangbang", "cuckold", that kind of stuff. It gives the profile owner the ability to quickly list (and adjust) what they are specifically looking for. They can expound on those desires in the profile, but having a list can be helpful.
You have not decided to implement the flirt feature because it will require paying someone to make it part of the web site. Let's be honest
I agree with SLS on the flirt feature. It's lazy.
And it would be unnecessary if there was a notification when one profile gives private picture access. That is a feature the other sites have.
Wayne, there has been quite a bit of suggestions over the years, but you should be able to just look at some of the thread titles in the website forum and gather a bunch of them.

<p>"<span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:tahoma,verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:14px">Better classifications of swinger types." <--- Can people list some examples of classifications?</span></p>
<p>"<span style="font-family:tahoma,verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:14px">A way to basically flirt with someone." <--- The business has discussed this feature through the years. Sending a nice, well thought-out message would most likely give you the best chance of success. So thus far, we have decided not to implement it.</span></p>
Having to constantly check your messages to see if any are there. Better classifications of swinger types. A way to basically flirt with someone. Long time users say the old messaging system was more user friendly. I am sure others will comment.
<p>Can you post some examples of what you are talking about?</p>
I agree but lots of complaints in the past from a lot of users have fallen on deaf ears.
SLS
We recently signed up on a competing website and were amazed by how much better the user experience is. More functionality, less bugs, more intuitive. You guys need to check out your competition some time and see just how far behind you guys are!
