this would be a good feature, whats the drawback? you open your pics (maybe you cant/dont want identifing photos on your public profile), other profile is notified, they look, they either find your more revealing photos interesting and open their pics (and you get notified) or the send you a message OR they find you butt ugly and do nothing and you can not have that awkward interatction of chatting first then getting rejected becuase your face looks like a horses ass.......
Those who have granted private picture access
I was hoping to solicit a response something like "we currently do not do that, but that would be a good idea to do, to display a message to let the user know that"...

No, we do not alert people. It is explained in the Help files though.

so we cannot show any of that content on the app
And to avoid any confusion, you do alert and let people know that when they open such a gallery to another member, right?

The mobile app does not support personal pictures or custom galleries. This is by design. No one using the mobile app to access SLS can see any custom galleries or personal pictures. Google and Apple do not allow explicit content in apps listed in their stores, so we cannot show any of that content on the app.

@junie46, we had the same issue the other day, an interested couple could not see our galleries after we opened them. Turns out they were using the mobile "app" (not to be confused with using the web browser version on a mobile device, which mimics the version you would use on a PC, which works) Ask them what they are using to get on SLS, chances are they are using the "app", which from the complaints on the forums is very poor. Good luck. M
I have been trying to give access to my personal gallery to a couple and they can not see them. Even made 2 more galleries and gave access and they can not see them????
SLS (using Wayne as a conduit) isn't interested in how members WANT to use the site.
If you "wink" at a profile by opening your pictures, you don't know if that profile has the "Who Viewed Me" feature disabled. If they do, they won't know you looked at their profile, and may never know that you opened a gallery as a "wink". Additionally, there's no guarantee that people who saw you viewed them will look back, or see your galleries. In these cases, we understand why someone would like to see a list of profiles whose gallery is open to you.
The easy solution to all of this of course, is to send a Message when you see a profile you like. The red notification is hard not to notice.
What is the point of winking if the person or couple at whom you are winking never knows that you winked????? THAT is why the OP is requesting that users be able to see who has winked (opened private gallery).
And winking at someone without follow-up or follow-thru? What the f is the point if winking in the first place if you have no intention of flowing through with communication?

No one is demanding anything. People are making a request. In one case, someone is requesting access and in the other case, someone is giving access. The end result is the same. Someone's pictures were unlocked but no one communicated. Basically, I agree with what moekathy said a few posts down.

Wayne, the notion that I will somehow successfully explain the nuances of personal communication to you, something I've fruitlessly tried previously, is, um, silly.
If you cannot understand the difference between a demand from someone asking for something and an offering from someone giving something, no one can communicate well enough to help you with that.

You posted both of the above statements, but I don't see any difference between the two statements. In the first case, someone can skip communicating with you and request access to your private pictures. In the second case, you can skip communicating with someone and give them access to your private pictures. The end result is the same.

The closest way to figure out is this. If you share your private gallery with those who have shared theirs, then try this.
Go to the Favorites link on the web page, not the app. Scroll to the bottom, and on the right is the list of folks who your shared your Private gallery.
Good luck
The way we view it, people who want to find who opened photos for them, are just looking to perv profiles and nothing more. It is unlikely that such feature will help people connect more. For us, we have very little interest in couples who open their photos to us without telling us. We view them as either too lazy to write us a couple of lines to introduce themselves, or too introverted to want to engage in any discussions with us. Both styles are not a good fit for us. Therefore we ignore the gesture.
"...it tests the waters to see if there is any interest on the other end without sending a message, but is somewhat of a long shot."
Less of a long shot if there was a really handy feature telling you someone had opened their photos. :-)
We agree that this would be a good feature
I agree with MsMolly, opening up a private gallery with clear face pictures is called a wink ;) and it tests the waters to see if there is any interest on the other end without sending a message, but is somewhat of a long shot. We open up some face pictures and send a message when we are interested, it's a more direct way. Do we get a reply? 9 times out of 10 no, but hey, have to keep looking.
Good god. What would it be used for? Flirting.
Instead of having to craft some sort of particular, specific message you could just... open your photos. Super indirect if you want to get laid, but a fun way to open a conversation, i.e. flirt.

The site does not have this feature. What exactly would it be used for?

No.
You can go on the app and send a canned message demanding access to someone's private gallery (a function no one asked for), but something potentially useful like knowing who opens their gallery for you? Hah. No.
I've searched the forum, but have not come across this topic. Maybe it's in the desired features section, but did not go back more than a few years. My question is, is there a way to see the profiles that have granted you access to their private galleries without having to go into each profile? I know you can see alisting of who you have granted access to, is there a way to see the other way around?
