Thank you. The more information you give us about the issue, the better. If someone just reports: "This is a single male". I will most likely pull-up the profie and go straight to the 'Description'. If the first word is 'We', I won't go much further and will close the ticket.

If the evidence is in the profile, let me know that. If the evidence is in a private message, let me know that. If the evidence is in a hot date or something they said in the chat rooms, let know.

I have reported many profiles of singles posing as couples and SLS routinely corrects it. Here is a tip. If it is not clear in the profile then get them to admit it in chat. Then, file a report and cite your evidence (e.g. profile explicitly identifies as a single; see chat where they admit to being single). I have never had a problem with SLS addressing these.

We need a category for me, One eyed, one horned flying purple people eater. Well, I only eat women that are Prince fans. :)

You all have the ability to review and approve profiles, start using it and report the ones that you think are fake.

I think GGMM nailed it when she basically said to consider the source of the opening post. They have a history of thinking people are liars if someone doesn't see things exactly as they do, which is why I blocked them long ago.

We base the profile type on your particiaption, not your actual relationship. So if one half of a couple is using a single profile to meet people, that is ok, as long as they predominately meet as a single.

I have a single woman's profile and am part of a couple, something I address directly in my profile. I'd hate to think that SLS would change my profile to that of a couple, particularly since the two of us play separately except when we're on vacation.

We review every report sent to us. We do not take any action without backup proof though. We don't just change a profile type because person A says that person B is a couple. The proof we require is the profile actually admitting somewhere on our site that they are a couple. Without that, we cannot take any action.

@Esperanza:

What would you suggest SLS do? In person interviews with new members signing up? A sworn affidavit affirming they are who they say they are? Getting their membership application stamped by a Notary Public?

If anyone is interested enough to look at the OP's posting history, you'll find a collection of posts that are all some variation of "You aren't doing it right." My takeaway, given how truly awful they are on line, is that is code for their own issues, the essence of which is that they can't find partners.

Always easier to blame others for our lack of success, right?

The site does not protect liars. It’s just the FB crowd found the site and watered it down with their urge to block people for admiring, looking and asking if your dtf like your profile claims. The folks that claim they are looking for fwb but never reply when you answer their hot date and then blame the site even though they don’t show a photo or blur out their face due to insecurities of themselves but beg you to open your gallery or you will be blocked. The single female profile that begins with my boyfriend and I. The free accounts that give a number or kik and then try and blackmail you as your photos are real and they have AI photos but want $300 or Amazon gift cards. The site was awesome when it was full of real swingers. The accounts that have a single female profile and also have a couples profile. Now the site is most likely 69% fake accounts that lie and ruined the site and that is what we deal with now. Wayne & staff kicks ass fixing issues as much as possible. He has helped me many times. It’s the fake accounts that have no interest in swinging but are looking for likes, money, attention and so on. The FB crowd, the Nigerian prince accounts, and scammers lie. Not the site. Don’t be mad at the truth fairy. Just be patient and learn to avoid a fake account as sometimes you can spot them a mile away. Just my opinion from what I have dealt with in my time on this site. Happy hunting all…

Key word is “disguised.” On another site, “our” profile is as a single female only because my wife doesn’t navigate the site, and frankly she seems to have more success there, so we leave it as a single female profile. No bad intentions, and on that other site, the profile clearly says “husband manages the profile.” I think saying SLS is protecting liars is a bit harsh.

Anyone can be a woman if they claim to be .........this includes couples. If together they want to be a woman accept it.

So many profiles of couples disguised as single women, and they do NOTHING about it.
