Got error 404 for awhile and could not get on the site

Could not post a comment here about it, so did so on Usenet

Sigh..........

Can't load messages (again), so can't reply or continue conversations. Not allowed to post alternate forms of communication, and regularly have issues using this site to communicate with others.

Also, the "Friends" button is missing from profiles.

We really wish SLS would attack these constant performance issues with the same zeal as they delete critical comments in the Forums.

Yes Messaging seems to be down system wide. Shame! It's raining it's ass off here and now I can't communicate with anyone on the site...

The site has been super glitchy all morning. This whole weekend has been a complete mess for SLS. Several events were canceled solely because attendees could not communicate effectively. Shameful.

SOS on SLS. Why would it change?

Haven't been able to get online. Now that I can I have 4 messages and can't get to any of them. Just the damn spinning wheel. My subscription expires in September. If things don't change for the better by then I am done with this web site. I would like to add some additional comments but if I do I am sure my post would be removed.

Havent tried messaging but get booted from site and get a 404 error when attempting to log back on. Once on, pics are black. Navigating around site leads to getting booted also. This time get Irongate error message. Business as usual for SLS!

Seems I can’t get profile pics to open either on profiles I wish to open??

Still can't get on messaging. When the hell are these problems going to be corrected? There is no excuse for this. In the real world people would be fired for this type of poor IT support.

Messaging is completely offline now. This website is broken, especially on weekends lol. WTF?

Our message history has been erased for some of the couples we chatted with. what's with that?

When I send a message , it’s not showing that I sent it?

The constant issues are why most people move offsite to kik or other chat apps. If the IM system here was robust and functional I think most wouldn't go offsite. I know the powers that be really frown upon it, but the IM here is just terrible.

I open one message and it is empty, open another and there are messages from different people inside!! WTAF? How did you screw this up?

I use the messaging icon right above the profile name...IF it opens it goes to the entire message page showing all the profiles we’ve messaged but no opportunity to message the profile we want to message. Let’s face it, this site is pathetic and has varying issues constantly

Now, the message window is sticking open, after sending a message [and maybe without].

Same issue here if using the "messge" button down by the "Notes", Friend etc buttons.

But if we use the message button above your profile pics it seems to work intermittently.

Is anyone else having issues with messaging? We Click on the message icon for a profile we want to message but it won’t open up to allow us to type a message??
