The messaging system eats messages sometimes, and they disappear after you hit "send" so you have to type them again. It's another new feature..

It is absurd that after this many years that SLS still has this atrocity of a message system.
This site functioned better in 2008 than it does now. You could send emails, store them, attach pictures, edit pictures yourself inside of SLS, attach specific pictures to forum posts. About the only things we have now that we didn't then was Hot Date and Who Viewed Me. Everything else has degraded.

Recently I have had to type messages a couple of times to get them to post. It was happening a few weeks ago then got better for awhile. Looks like it is back again.

No, this is different and I've had it happen to me too. The site's working fine, but tonight I had to retype two of the four or five responses that were required. I typed, hit send, and nada. Disappeared completely. And it's a site issue, because even though my response disappeared, the profile I replied to moved to the head of the queue, ahead of those I hadn't answered.

LewdDude - I've had messages disappear like that when there were widespread problems with the website - so I've also learned to copy before sending just in case. But when the message system is generally working I've had messages disappear like that when the profile I was sending to had been deleted. According to Wayne there are a few days between a profile being deleted and it being removed from the website - and messages to that profile just disappear.

@LewdDude, when composing a lengthy message, try to remember to copy before sending. If you send and it goes "poof" into thin air, just paste and try again. Alternatively you can make your reply on Win-Notepad or Android-Memo and copy to message pane. Yes, it's an extra and completely unnecessary step but alas it has come to this. (just copied this just in case...)

I can't scroll through the messages. I have complained a lot about how slow their servers are. The app is horrible. It constantly crashes yet they keep telling me they fixed the issue. They have our account flagged and won't all us to say we are taking a cancer break, yet others can post it. But as they say, we can't catch all of them lol. We also use swingtowns and your pics and bio are updated instantly. You don't have to wait 24-48 hrs for approval.
