There’s a pretty well known club that has locations in Philly and Atlantic City. They have a website now and lots of people from the region frequent it. Could equate to less traffic on here from NY.

@naughtones - makes sense as the site seems to be geared toward that now. Just launched the app to see if any updates and was greeted by an ad. It’s evident the owners are content with the status quo. The big “rebrand” that was touted is nothing more than an animated logo and new domain name/home landing page. The question is are members going to just continue to accept it or move on? Are new paid members sticking around or upgrading to Unlimited? We’ve def noticed less activity here, but could just be in our region.

Doubtful that the site was designed as a member driven cash generator. I have never heard anyone say that they cannot access the advertising for cruises and other commercial aspects on the site. Probably all using seperate servers and up to date code thst ensures there is never problems or down time. The site is really an advertising medium. Interesting is how many new members are reported. Membership numbers drive advertising costs. The great thing for sls is that there is no way to audit actual numbers!

I'm curious as to where the money goes. Clearly not into the site.

@OHW, always copy to clipboard any substantial message before sending is best practice here. You simply never know when it’s going to work.

Saved a copy of my second attempt at sending a message to them and still won't post. Have tried 4 times now, WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Messaging having problems again this morning. Wrote a considerable message to a couple and guess what it is fucking gone. When the fuck is this shit going to stop. We get a couple of days of things working fine and then back to the same old same old.

Here's the message I received from the Chat System:

Max number of room connections has beach reached(200). Come back later or try going to the other rooms.

Fix this already, what are we paying for?

What the hell, be on the sit 15 20 minutes and it turns into something SLOWER then a turtle. Takes forever to load. Go kick off chat and can't get back on.

I am no computer tech but I do know when something is fuck up.

Something is wrong with the site this Saturday morning. It worked normally!

On the other hand, at least they put up a notice a few days before hand rather than ambushing the chat folks.

Fun fact regarding the screenfulls of code dumps: Macromedia ceased to exist in 2005.

I got that page too. Lots of words, including "macromedia," along with the usual half dozen or more Irongate errors (only three so far today, but I just logged on a few minutes ago).

2much - Yeah, this was a page of code as well. It was clearly a DB error of sorts and looked like it may have been network related.

We got a whole page of code yesterday instead of the standard Irongate error page.

There was more info, but it had a filter word somewhere in the text so couldn't post it without more effort than I was willing to put into it.
