Can there be a box we can check on these profiles where they do not come up in searches or in the online feed. Also can we filter and see all those profiles in one search if we like (maybe they changed their mind and now want to chat with us)
We are discussing a hide future

Would love to see a like button on photos (like you see on facebook) that would facilitate flirting and the casual level.
New site doesn't recognize password. Won't let us log in.
It would interest me as to just how ages could be updated.
Just add a year on the anniversary of joining? That would work for us, but not those who have been 48 for the last 18 years.
Perhaps just adding LAST UPDATED qualifier on the profiles, setting it at the date of joining , That would change as we each updated our profiles

We will be adding the notes and stars. I just checked and my messages are loading and showing the most recent. I do not have to scroll. What device are you using and I will check it.
I use an android Samsung s21
Not sure if this was already discussed or addressed, but hopefully all ages will be updated automatically in new site and perhaps once we transition people will be asked to self report their age again. In old site the age never changes unless someone adjusts it manually, which few do. Ty.

Is there a way to indicate if a profile is currently on line? In the search function, in messages, etc. maybe a green light or something. If you are not on the online now page.
The site already does exactly that. On the homepage of both swinglifestyle and swing if you go to who viewed me there is a green dot in the top right corner indicating someone is online. That functionality is throughout the site anytime you see a profile with that green dot they are online.
Perhaps a slight tweak of changing the dot to some sort of icon that would provide a visual cue of what it's meant to indicate?
Many might argue that a green dot is common sense while others may not make the connection. There's no right or wrong. It's just a matter of trying to find something that is more specific.
For inspiration, (if you've not already done so), take a look at the collection offered by Font Awesome. In past companies I've worked for, this was one of the options often used when we built platforms. Granted, I'm not sure what their licensing is like these days for commercial websites but if nothing else, it might be a source of inspiration?
Thank again. You guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work.

Thank you for updating SLS! I really don't use the platform much because of its old functionality, but I'm so excited that it is being brought into this century! :)
Location. If you need to change your location, in the edit profile "Location" box, it does allow you to change it but it would be nice for it to display the location your profile is currently set to. We're digital nomads, so we change our location frequently.
This is a great idea. My thought would be to have a member click on the profile icon on the top right of swing.com and in the drop-down list see a new item that shows "where your profile is set to" with the ability to click it and change your location either for the current session or until it's changed again.
Thank you for considering at least making it more compelling. As I mentioned, I did see a state option but no individual states listed under that to select. At anyrate, a good, upfront, means of advertising the feature upon entry might be a great way to get it kick started once you do make the migration. Perhaps a graphic of the Country/World where you can select regions (as was the case on your competitor's site) along with some sort of description that stands out.
Thanks for considering any and all of this!

Feedback for Chatrooms:
I know it's not implemented yet, but here are some of the current Usability issues:
- Preview Settings do not "stick". Changing the Mic or Video setting does not get properly recorded and causes the entire page to reload. Most times after the page reloads, the cam or mic is reset to a different value. I need to change the Settings multiple times, by toggling , resulting in the Chat page reloading multiple times. When I toggle the mic on and off, it switches the Video source. Often if I switch the Mic or Video source, after the page reloads, they are reset to some apparently "default" values.
- I can't toggle the mic on and off on my cam. The button does not respond. I have to close the cam, go into Preview, and toggle the mic. This results in often changing the Video and Audio source as described in 1.
- Focusing/expanding a particular users cam opens a window with different dimensions than the small window, cutting off a significant portion of that persons cam.
- If I publish my cam as Public, the list of viewers is often incomplete, and sometimes clicking on the Viewer Count icon does not open up the List window.
- If I publish my cam as Private, the viewer count is empty and the list of viewers is empty, and sometimes clicking on the count icon does not open up the List window.
We'd like to add a #5 to this.
Many years ago on one of your competitor's chat platforms, they offered regional chat rooms where locals could not only chatted, but also met in person regularly. I'm not just talking about hookups. There were regular m&g's arranged, parties, and a community. These "rooms" were broken down by region with our own being "The Southwest Room" with Arizona and New Mexico. It was very vibrant back in the day. I've not been back to that site in years but the last I saw, those rooms still exist but are ghost towns since using them has become an additional (recurring) paid feature.
I could also see how you could incorporate your current "Groups" features into the chat system as well. But a general chat room broken down at least by state or region would be an excellent additional and help foster more community.
All that said, I do see you have what appears to be a "state" option already in your current system. But you gotta dig a bit to find it and there it goes nowhere anyway. So that brings one last request on this:
#7 Provide some sort of clear menu, or an interstitial view of some kind listing all of your room options, maybe even searchable.
- J
We have always had chats by state in our chat rooms unfortunately not enough people use them for them to be viable.

As we build a new chat room for swing.com perhaps we can find something more compelling
In Messages, it would be a helpful usability feature if there was a keyboard shortcut to go to the next message, or at least a Next and Back button.
I'm not clear about what you mean. On swing in the messages area you can click tab and that cycles through the various clickable areas. Is your request that a keyboard shortcut would take you to the next thread you have with a different member in automatically place your cursor on the type of message area?
My main concerns are efficiency, because time is our most valuable asset.
I want a quick way to designated a member as someone I don’t want to see anymore. On Feeld, with one tap, I don’t have to see that person‘s profile anymore. They can still reach out and are not blocked, but they are not in my main feed. That way, when I scroll, I don’t have to see much people. I already have ruled out as likely matches.
At the very least, I want to instantly know who I have looked at, and what my thoughts were about them without having to open their profile. On Kasidie, I can place stickers by each profile. That way, when I do a search, I know all the people I have already looked at, and whether I have designated an opinion about them. It makes it efficient, because then it is clear which profiles I have already looked at.
On swing.com you can accomplish this by putting a note on members and viewing in the list mode to see who you do and do not have notes for. This is more informational than an icon but we will discuss the option
