[quote=GreenGhost1]What is this swing [dot] [com] (I had to write it out that way, I was getting a message about words not allowed) thing? You've found the word sensor Fight Club mentality of domain name moderation on here of even their own dominion.
Feedback for beta.swing.com
The current main page even on PC has a mobile feel. And that's not bad, necessarily. However, the interface and how it displays profiles from the Who's On, Who Viewed Me and Newest Matches on a PC looks a lot like the failed swingtowns dot com. Going mobile display on everything including laptops, etc. removes your ability to have a more feature rich and appealing look on larger screens. I contend that SLS needs to continue to have a PC as well as a mobile/app version and not try to combine the two.
Events section looks clean with even tiling and click-through profiles, but the calendar view is either gone or harder to find and access. Where did it go? If it's still there, please tell me how to find it because it's not immediately obvious. That's the one thing this site hands down does better than its competitors.....makes it easy to find and schedule events as well as Hot Dates to our own calendars at a glance. Don't fuck that up, please?
Are these additional interests going to be implemented soon? "Extended Profile (Coming Soon)"

No pics on Beta site?
Matching criteria bug (not a feature). We are 60 and 65. Why are we shown matches when a couple says their max age is (say) 50?
This is not helpful - and wastes everyone's time. We have to open each profile, and only then do we see the couple would not be interested in us. Thanks.
There is a bug where all messages show 4 H (hours).

We rolled out a fix for two other issues this morning:

1) Messages on swing.com being broekn up into multiple bubbles and words line-breaking in the middle of a word. Those should be fixed.

2) The login page had a star field animation that was lagging/freezing some computers. We removed that animation.

And confirmed, the formatting looks correct now.

Yes when I click on a profile

Events (at a club) are totally broken!
First, if i click on clubs it doesn't sort geographically nor does it give me the option to pick a state. Search feature doesn't work, either. Hsad to scroll until I found my club.
Second, when I finally did find my local club, I tried to click "i'm going" to an event. A pop up came up and said "coming soon." There are other profiles listed as going, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to add ourselves to the list!
Agree thats why we still use old one on our computer much easier to navigate and get what we want and see all

It honestly seems like they have taken all the good parts of the old site that rarely got complaints and ruined them.
Events on the beta site is absolutely useless. No idea what venue/club/etc I'm looking at.
What happened to SLS groups selection?
The original site at least gives options to sort events by location. This new thing is useless so far. For the past week I could only see who's attending anything by going to hot dates and scrolling down to the events there.
I guess we'll resort to word of mouth or smoke signals to find out what's going.
