We agree with some of the other folks here about the travel aspect. We both traveled a lot for business prior to pandemic and did some browsing prior to arriving to a city. The thought being to meet as friends or play depending. Likewise, we have been viewed by travelers and actually met a few. Sometimes a friend can turn out to be just someone who pereved your profile.
Pre Covid I traveled for work extensively. Well before trips I would do a search in the area I was traveling to hopefully connect to meet, greet, and maybe some play. Hence long distance views. Equally I have been viewed and contacted by folks traveling to my area asking for recommendations of clubs etc. ditto I have checked out local Hotdate when traveling. have enjoyed many an evening when traveling and when hosting.
A lot of the 2000 mile views are almost certainly because they saw me goofing around on the fora. I still get people from TX viewing me, even though it's been nearly 2 years since I moved away, AND they had never responded after I'd sent them a message years ago.
I figure the more views I get, the better. Even if they're on the opposite coast. The only problem is that it takes me away from the deluge of messages from double-jointed nymphomaniac supermodels piled up in my in box.

I suppose it's possible some are looking to cam, but it's not something we're interested in. If we wanted porn on in the background, we just put porn on.
I get frequent messages and friend requests from people who live in places like Virginia and Alaska (the two most recent). Since Seattle is too far away (and it says so in my profile), I'm not sure why. I've never had a conversation go in such a way that I ask. Although in the right circumstances I'd be fine with travel buddies who lived elsewhere, so you never know.
We get contacts from guys all over the place. Even had a NYC detective tell us he would cum play with us in Tennessee. Really you can't find any pussy closer?
BTW - If there really was a transporter like the one in Star Trek, we'd definitely be international fuckers ;-)
Sometimes it's just people checking out your profile, and other times people actually reach out like you're going to get together for a drink sometime soon.
Though they didn't reach out, I did have someone from Brazil check out our profile just this morning on another site and I chatted a couple times with people in France, just for ha-ha's.
One place far away, but could be a possible destination, is I had someone here reach out from Hawaii just to chat. As I recall, that is around 5K+ miles away from me. We regularly get people 100's or 1000's of miles away.
