Age differences

We try to be open minded to age, body types and color. We do find we have less in common with much younger people other then the obvious.

IOW, while your 20 year old partner is probably part of the issue, some women may be dubious as to the maturty level of a man who needs a barely legal girlfriend in order to get one.

My wife wants to know why a man in his 40s isn't able to connect with women his own age.

Age would be an issue for us, as we have kids. No desire to play with people younger than our kids.

My hypothesis is that couples roughly his age won't have a big problem with it, might see the opportunity to play with a younger woman as a bonus, but young couples will see it differently. Think of it from the perspective of the woman in the younger couple. Unless she is into older guys she doesn't benefit from this exchange.

Well, her age could be a difference but what would be a no go for us is that she smokes. Lots of people don't play with smokers.

To be honest, both the wife and I are in our 50s. We have grown children in their early 20s. We can’t see playing with people younger than our children. Not say it isn’t a possibility, just not something we plan on seeking out.

What does everyone thunk about age differences in a couple who are in the lifestyle? We are a couple with a 20 (f) and 46 (m) and are having a tough time finding couples. No one has said it, but we wonder if our age difference is the issue. Thoughts?
